The faculty in the college are good in the way of teaching, they will teach the things what we have to know up to the topic. They will also motivate us to learn those easily. Some of them are professors, so they can teach very well and some are assistant professors, they are also teaching well, but they need to learn from the professors the way of teaching. I'm really happy to have those faculty.
As I took Electronics and communication engineering, I have to deal with many electronic elements and devices like resistors, capacitors, diodes and also multi meters etc. Every semester we have some core subjects, one or two subjects from different branch and also two subjects for laboratory in which we have to do them practically. We can learn a lot from the labs.
I was placed during my college. It was a great deal for me, knowing that there was a fierce competition in my field, I was satisfied. Job opportunities are immense but nothing can take you down if you're talented and know what's trending! Packages vary in design firms. If you get into a good one, you will have to intern with them before they keep you full time, just to get a taste of your working nature. Post that, the first salary you get could be anything between 20 K - 40 K INR.
There were all kinds of events in the college, starting from Sports Day, Founders Day, Tech Fest, Cultural fest and a major college personifying event called the Design Haat. It was a great medium for students to come up and explore their talents. It gave a platform to interact with visitors and important personalities visiting the premises during the fest. It gave us the liberty to open our own shack and display products for purchase.

College management is lousy and money oriented. Computer department is only strict department with regular lectures and practicals. Mechanical department is very much loose department in all terms and Civil department is the same but you need to be careful with the faculties here as they are very good at holding grudges onto students but civil department is very particular about the difficult subjects and undertakes time to time lectures and practicals regarding the same. All in all if you're not in comp and it department and don't like attending college this is the best college for you as it is close to city and you get the freedom to do anything you want to rather then being just an engineering nerd compulsively attending 75% of college.
Gender ratios is less with less female students. Extra curricular activities are mostly initiated by the students and if you have good relationships with the faculties in which case if you are a member of students association you sure can plan out and the faculties would be supportive. Baja seminar is being conducted as this college's Baja Buggie is quiet popular and very successful as compared to nearby colleges. Do not mess with locals here they are very volatile.

Exam structure is, I would say, okay. They can certainly do better. Exams are pretty hectic at times. But I think they should make it more equitable. The evaluation of the answer-sheets has never satisfied a studious student like me who prepares each and every answer sincerely from various books and articles. This is because, after going thru all the pain, I score just 5-10 more marks than a student who reads from the Wikipedia the night before the exam. However, being the topper of my department, I think that there should be an equitable evaluation of the papers.
My courses are structured by the University of Delhi. I would go to the extend of saying that it is the perfectly designed history course one can study in the course of three years. The division of the course is chronological. In the first year we studied the Ancient Indian history, then in the second year, we studied Medieval Indian history and now in the third year, we are studying the modern India. Simultaneously, we are also studying the world history through different papers.
Symposium are conducted, College Cultural events, National level conference, Alumni Meet etc are conducted by our college.
All kind of student were studied therefrom all the states and even from foreign countries also.

Placement opportunities are good now and future. Every year around 200 Students are placing with MNC with good packages. Interviews conducted directly by the company HR department and offer letter sent to college and students once they were finalized and got selected. Cognizant- 3 Lac/PA, Sutherland - 2.5 Lac/PA, HCL - 3.2 Lac/PA, Wipro - 3 Lac/PA, TCS - 3 Lac/PA, Infosys- 3.5 Lac/PA Etc.
Our college celebrates annual day every year very grandly. Technically symposium has been conducted by every department in a year. Department cultural conducted, it makes all the department students together and know about senior and junior. Hostel days also conducted and it includes cultural and sport meet. Finally I want to mention student can enjoy the life.
This college was opened only for the sake of money. Student development is next to zero. College management does not care about the quality of education. My conclusion will be it's better not to join this college if one looks for a good college life. On the other hand if someone wants to save money for post graduation and can do self study or learn through online courses, then he/she may opt for this college.
In mechanical branch, 5 students on an average are placed out of 120 annually. Highest package offered was 4.5 lpa by Adani Group. Not many companies recruiting for mechanical engineers visit here. For CSE/IT there is TCS which takes majority of the placed students every year but with a package of 1.5-3 lpa. Most of the students opt for higher studies or try for jobs through competitive exams.

Exam structure is Almost same as in other college. Two sessional exams and university exam after that. To pass sessional need at least 40 marks in total from two exams. If you can manage to pass they will help you get through the sessionals. About lab exams some are hard to get through. But don't worry make sure you get partial output at least or learn viva well. If you get full output don't worry about viva. But to score more do your viva good.
Placement was no up to the expectations but now i heard they improved a lot. Hope they do. Placement during my time was basically getting you to some off campus recruitment in some other college which is less likely to get as other college would have their students as they took their companies to their colleges. So if our college bring many companies to our college many can be placed.

We have a good number of IT companies coming to our college like TCS, WIPRO etc. These IT companies first come to our college for placement and then prefer other colleges like Gitam University etc. We have a good reputation among placements in Visakhapatnam. During my time only 200 students were placed in TCS which is comparatively less in number as the company itself decided to take few student in that year. Where as in 2013 and 2015, the count was above 400.
The college has really a well experienced faculty, of more than 40 years like Govinda Rao Sir, Parvatisam Sir. Also we have faculty who have less experience, but the teaching quality is good. Some faculty explain in details, where as some leave to the student for self learning. Difficult concepts were explained well by the senior faculty. After all, self learning is very important for an engineering student.

Initially there is Departmental Events during the first semester of the college, there the students of the particular departments handle the event with all the possible events that they could manage to keep, i was the vice-president of my department so we all handled the department events there were 12 technical,13 cultural,9 social,5 personality development,10 sports events. So handling these many events makes the Fest large enough for 500-750 people to participate. There is a College Fest in the next semester called "ALACRITY" It is National Event where we have participants from all over India. It is a mega event and is managed by students from all the departments . I highly recommend every one to attend this event as it turns out to amazingly good. There are many other events like Technical Quizzes, Cultural Drama events like Firodiya and Karandak, Sport events like cricket Tournaments, Football Tournaments.
Campus life is rather very good because of the various activities that go on all the year. Students can find way to cultural activities like singing ,acting, dancing, music. Technical activities like robotics club, RND department. Sport Clubs are available for cricket, football ,basketball, volleyball ,T.T ,tennis etc. Gender ratio what i believe is 50/50 as the college was formerly a women's college there is no discrimination, no raging, no inequality found. Everything is in harmony.

This college have excellent placement opportunities many of my seniors got opportunity offshore, many are being working in software engineers & management & pharmacy fields to have good knowledge on cracking interviews college used to provide CRT program, they use to have guest faculties & many other facilities were provided such that student life's get settled.
In my four years of education there every year they used to be 3 to 4 technical fest & one cultural fest & nation festivals & regional festivals were conducted & gave awareness about things for all the events the management used to be part of all the matters & they used to give freedom to students to evolve their talents.

The research and innovation are main aim of Gujarat technological university also college arrange program like student exchange with foreign university, pharma expo, technical fair, etc. Also research base student examination taken by outside examiners from CDRI, NIPER, ICE, IIT, etc. So it directly reflect focus of University in research all instruments related research and well knowledge guide for students provide by university.
Fee is feasible its only 10000, Fee give in to two part 5000 per semester. And fee submission in mid semester time . It includes all facility like library other exam fees give extra per semester. Exam fee 1200 rs per semester and if you have backlog in above semester so 1200+ 125 rs per one subject backlog. Ex if u have 2 backlog in above semester so final exam fee is 1200+125+125= 1450 RS.

Placement opportunities are the best in the University. In fact, SRM University has been recorded in the Limca Book of records for the maximum placement in the single calendar year. Plus the amount of core companies visiting the campus is huge. But for the campus recruitment you will have to travel to the main campus where the main campus students will be prioritized.
The fee-structure is pretty expensive. I had to pay 1,50,000 annually for my tuition fee and 70,000 for my hostel fee. But now, they are more expensive. Currently, The fee-structure is 2,50,000 and hostel fee is 75,000 which is very expensive for any student from middle class family that too for a campus which lacks in infrastructure.

Fees structures are depends on courses. Fees structures for Arts groups - 1800 ₹ per year and around 5500₹ total coerces. For the pass courses fees are 10-20% lower than Honors courses. Fees structures for Commerce groups - 1800 ₹ per year and around 5500₹ total courses. For the pass courses fees are 10-20% lower than Honors courses. Fees structures for Science groups - 5200 ₹ per year and around 15500₹ total courses. For the pass courses fees are 20-30% lower than Honors courses.
Gender ration is 5:6 for girls and boys students in college. Labs sports compound are situated in collect and they are really good for use. Specially for maintaining heath college has a gym which is really good for students, specially those who are intended to maintain their own boy growth and all sports man are getting help from it in this college gym.

Talking about the good points, college has a very huge campus and is always greenery surrounded. Faculties are helpful with good knowledge of the content they teach. It also provides locker facilities to the students to keep their belongings safely(Although I haven't received one In progress). Labs are very neat and clean and college even if surrounded by greenery, is the most cleanest place I have seen ever in such a greenery. Coming to the bad points, college doesnot allow any of its student to go out of the campus once in college hourse(In short to bunk..:-D).In such cases students get irritated sometimes.A student is allowed to go out in college hours only if he/she has a legal permission signed by its HOD.Also this college is quite far from Mumbai as well as from Vasai with very less transportation access to it.One has to be a perfect 'Mumbaikar' if he/she wants to attend all the lecs from 9-5 on time because he/she(no gender discrimination..:-D) is required to catch the train which reaches vasai on time of the further ST bus or train transportation.Canteen should welcome some more varieties in food.Power cuts are often here but there is a generator installed so not a big issue. Last but not the least, afterall every college is best in its own aspect. As everyone loves its college and is going to miss it badly once course is completed,so do I.
Starting with the first question if to be answered, this college was basically new(in 2012). I gave CET exam and AIEEE exam both in order to pursue a career in Engineering.Engineering was basically set as a goal from starting itself, and the perspective of doing IT Engineering was crystal clear from first. Then the results of both CET and AIEEE came out and scored quite less than the expected. Filled the DTE form with preferences where this college was one from the list. Was a little aware about this college as per the newspapers articles. Finally got admission in this college. And for the very first time I visited this college,I was like 'Wow!,What a humungus campus!'.Also all the admission staff was co-operative for the admission process. And finally opted for this college.
Courses are very different in comparison to other colleges some other points: Anybody can attend any course in any department, provision of Auditing the courses, Can drop the course in between if not comfortable (without loss of grades), Every course follows basic+ advance(in next semester) , advance only covers the prior research papers from that area.
Samanvay, IISCconnect, Alumni Meet, Open day when all non-iiscians are invited to visit the campus. A detailed demo is placed from every lab on campus to show in what areas all are working. Participation is less in cultural events.

With respect to the faculty, Xavier's has a few best and maximum average teachers. Most teachers, at least in my Department, resort to spoon feeding to better the performance of their students which generally, lowers the motivation of the students to study complicatedly for their exams. But the brilliant students do not generally give in to such easy methods for easy marks.
You can get the best shot placements from the campus, not the TCS ones which hire in lots. The most refined ones come and select you. The highest goes up to 12 lac which is mind boggling amt of money for a fresher. It's beautiful once you get into the groove of things. But no doubt jumping straight from school is like a roller coaster ride.
Three fest in our college. First is UDGHOS- sports fest with all major sports event, second is Antaragini -cultural fest. By far in my experience the most enjoyable time of the year, third is Tech kriti- technical fest. apart from these three there are various other events that keep on going in campus like e-cells business events also there are many inter hostel events which goes onto make a general championship between all the hostels.
Placement again making a list of companies is kinda impossible as they are about 200 - 250 of which I don't also remember the names. They generally offer from around 9 to 18 lac per annum. But major companies can go higher to as much as 80 - 90 lac per annum. Bit the gross pay vary from company to company. Like for a standard 12 lac of package the gross in hand inn of 10 to 11 lac rest is all other benefits and variable pay.

Campus life at MITCOE is really engaging. The locality and reputation of the institute makes the inflow of students very unique. The diversity it offers is exceptional. The gender ratio is well maintained, except for stereotypical branches like Mechanical, who've always had more boys than girls. The campus is host to an annual national level sports symposium called Summit. This competition welcomes sportsmen from around the country. MIT is also host to Robocon, the national level robotics competition. Hence, Robotics is a big part of the campus discussions. The college has a Magazine Cell, which looks after the literary programs. It manages the college magazine, and organizes literary events and MUNs. The overall crowd at the campus is decent. Most of them are from good families and maintain good relations with everyone. However, there is a slight element of politics involved which is easily neglected by the normal student. Girls and boys are treated with respect and there is no sign of improper sexual orientation.
The college hosts a lot of events. The cultural team organises Aarohan- The Cultural Fest. This national level fest is entertaining and is a good opportunity for the students to hone their creative skills. The technical team organizes Tesla. Tesla is the flagship event of the college and its nature is technical. This 2 day mega event witnesses participants from around the country. The events in Tesla are interesting and the creativity reaches its peak with the themed decorations. The E Cell of the college organizes the AEM, that is the Annual Entrepreneurship Meet, where competitions and seminars are organised for the students to instill the spirit of entrepreneurship in the students. Apart from these events, there are many more programs and events in the entire campus which are accessible to every student on the campus. The regulars like the Traditional Day etc too are celebrated. The MIT campus comprises of management, engineering , pharmacy and governance schools, hence the number of events are always very high.
The campus life is something that varies from person to person. I enjoyed the 5 years in college. The gender ratio is pretty good. There areas many girls in the college as the number of boys. We have a big ground wherein sports like football and cricket can be played. There is a Gymkhana within the campus where indoor games like carom can be easily enjoyed.
Disha which is an annual festival which encourages the type of course and educational field one could choose after graduation. It helps the children find out which is their field of calling. Fantasies is the annual college festival which is held in around December-January. Filled with fun and frolic, it's a relaxing time for all in college.
