Faculty were friendly. Had a good knowledge in their respective field of study. So it was great to move with them, discuss about the study and share our grievances if we had any and also to get what they knew about the subject out of syllabus.
We conducted one of the best technical symposiums in our college. Mass 2012 we conducted national level seminar on welding and had a huge response for that from all over the country. We conducted the first remote car racing in that symposium.
We have to pay fees on ever six month fees is very reasonable. Even backwork class students get subsidy too for study at this college. If a student is from poor family he can get donation for his study.

My brother is himself an alumni and hence I'd say that the alumni network of the college is very strong. The college has a special alumni council with a total of 25 students who look after the alumni meets, reunions and interactions. The alumni frequently visit the college and provide their ideas and support to the students working on various projects and startups.
The college offers financial aid to the students who cannot afford the fees in the form of tuition fee waiver. this facility can be availed of, by simply producing the parent's annual income statement at the time of admission. Also, there is scholarship called the Tata Crucible Scholarship, an award prize of 1 lakh rupees to the highest scorer of the department.

I choose electronics and communication because while i choosing the course i thought that if we choose electronics. I can go for hardware as well as IT field so i choose the ECE.
I don't remember companies name but lot of companies came and they have selected much students and gave good packages. But most of companies are small scale industries that os why I did not gave interview I opted walk in interview because I always wanted to work with MNC.
Only theory no practical work no field work sitting in classroom and listening those boring lectures it sucks I really want some practical workshops field work going to big companies for experiencing corporate world but in mba I did not got that platform.
Faculty was very good. Our HOD Dr. Roshan Kazi is a superb man having excellent industry experience and also superb in teachings. We have got so many good external teachers as well subject wise. There is a concern for few internal teachers who are not good and doesn't know much about their subject, but overall it good.
Events are the best think I can say with AIMS. Students, Teachers, management all are engaged in events. College put so much of finance for events and engaging students. That is the best part of this college.

College campus was good gender ratio is in appropriate. number of girls were less than that of the boys. Campus life was very awesome. on the festive season, every festival is celebrated. like dandiya night, holi, dahi handi and etc. tech fests are also conducted. anuual function is the most awaited fest for all the students. debates also takes place during other programmes like women day, engineers day.
Many events are celebrated in this college, like annual function, sports meet, function over festivals like dahi handi, dandiya night, holi, republic day, independence day. technical fests are also celebrated during annual function time, in which robo race, robo war etc are organised. debate competition are also held on the various programmes like engineers day, women day etc.

Ibm, tcs, genpact, kony, amazon, tech Mahindra, many more companies came and almost all people of our batch were been placed. The package was best in kony as they r giving 2.4L/annum for 6months as an internship and after 6months it will be 4.8L/annum.
Our faculty was like can't be pin pointed as like this. They very active about their subjects, they even support us in other activities n I can't give feedback on them as I am not much qualified as they are.

College did not offer any loan facilities. But we had an optional bus fees in different with other colleges in which bus facility was mandatory. Since the college is located near Velachery we had other options of commute which was very helpful. We saved 10000 by availing this.
We had technical symposium every year.We also had culturals which was inter college and sometimes intra college.Apart from these we had college day and sports day every year. There were also mini project competitions conducted.
Placement committee was very much active and had relations with all leading industrial organizations. The campus recruitment started in second semester of third year. The placement was almost 100%, and the committee really helped us to prepare for all sort of aptitude tests and personal interviews, group discussions. All leading companies like, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, L&T, Emerson, Honeywell visited for recruitment. The package offered back in 2008 was minimum 3.2 LPA.
Campus life was awesome and one lifetime experience. All extracurricular activities, sports, competitions really helped to develop our personalities. ender ratio was well maintained in college. We used to organize hostel parties almost one per month. We used to run many events, programs under Rector's supervision. Such events gave exposure to the hidden talents of students like Dance, Sing, Hosting etc.
Our exam structure is like we have 2 semisters in a year in one sem we hve two mid exams in which half the syllabus is given in exam nd remaning in the nxt exm.
After completion of my 12th standard i went for EAMCET coaching bt unfortunately didnt score good marks in the entrance soo i purchased a seat in this college.

The fee structure is quite feasible. I am from general category and it is 69000/- which is a lot cheaper compared to other private colleges in the area. People from SC/ST etc pay as little as 7 to 31k. Tuiton fees, gym fees, lab fees, examination fees is all included. Though at the beginning of the academic year we need to pay extra 2000 for the stationary they provide.
This years tens of companies (mostly startups) came to take interviews for Internship. Companies like E-Serve, GetDeals, Konnections and Stylonic had come. Most of them are giving no stipend but promised letter of recommendation. The interviews are quite good and logical questions are asked. Work can be done in college as well as at home.
Many companies provide internship, to increase technical skills and profession knowledge companies like Facebook flipkart yahoo Microsoft, apple, come. These companies have their embedded lab etc in our college we get great stipend.
Comedk examination was super, whole country student were writing exam, exam were held in Bangalore itself. So no problem for me and others also as Bangalore has great connectivity it was a whole day exam .
For each year, college will charge 31000 rs for government quota students. For management students they charge 91000 rs. And lab charges costs extra, they charge 4000 rs for government quota students. And 7500 for management quota students.
It is very good in this field. So many software companies came to my college and recruit so many students. Companies like Infosys, CGI,wipro came to my college.Infosys recruit more than 40 members offers 3.25 lakh per annum.
We have Internship options not only in INDIA but also in Countries like Germany, the UK, the US, Australia. Most Public sector Undertaking company was coming of Internship viz. Tata Motors, Tata Steel, IOCL, ONGC, DRDO, etc from India. The amount of general Stipend was varied from company to company but mostly they were offering in the range of Rs 25,000-35,000 in India.
The fee structure was very feasible for everyone, especially in the Postgraduate Course. It was never a matter of thinking for us because the Ministry of Human Resources offered Rs 8000/- per Month as a stipend & at the end, we had to deposit only 25,000 Rs as a Semester fee including Mess and accommodation.

Faculty were good on subjects. But they didn't had any vision. They were just teachers who are well capable on subject matter but didn't have any other industrial experience. At times I use to feel they could have been great help for future as well.
There is no provision of internship. You will not get any suggestions also to try yourself.Internship is like alien in this college.
Gendor ratio was great but it was trade dependent like in CsC there were more number of girls then boys however in Mechanical there were only 2 girls in my batch l.There were no discrimination for race, religion or ethinicity . Initially I found that the college was gender biased but later it seems good to me.Politics was not in my college as there were no scope for the same.
CGPET , I don't remember my score but I was given a choice between computer science and electrical engineering with my score and the college (This was the only best college after REC raipur) and I choose electrical because for me computer was easy course.
We used to celebrate every event in the college. Every week we used to host events wherein industry people were invited to share their experiences. We used to rope in different industry experts by using our own contacts and also by doing cold calls. Other events were during all major Indian festivals. We used to host a event wherein the college used to call industry experts and major achievers and used to felicitate them. We used to do some research to find out the names that have contributed to the society. Finally our professors shortlist the winners and we used to invite them to our award and recognition event to feliciatte them and they used to share their experiences.
Our college has students from diverse backgrounds. The gender ratio was about 65% -35% in favour of males. Especially in our course however in other courses female representation was more. We had international students studying with us too. In our class there were 2 males one was from Nigeria and one was from Denmark. Our college gives opportunity to Indian students to go and study abroad and similarly foreign students are invited to study in India.
As mine was fourth batch of the college and the college was gradually moving towards the success during my batch around 40% placement was in-campus, however, the passed out students got placed within a year in different companies at present the college is having 100% placement tcs, infosys, wipro like big brand names yearly visit the college for placement.
