Their was a entrance exam for the course. Their were no scores given only a merit list of people qualifying for further interview. The entrance was for the course so you already chose the course and college. Written was followed by an interview, which is basic and a group discussion.
It was a semester system. Their was a great need for hands on experience and sine the institute had nothing of its own we had to depend on whims and fancy of EMRC. since then things have changed and now the department has moved into a bigger building with more faculty and equipments.
Campus life is good with cool college timing 7 AM to 1 PM after that we can avail Library/Lab facilities in house canteen facility is available which is very economical. Sports and other extra curricular activities are good.
College celebrates freshers day and college annual day, freshers day is organised by the college management only every branch has their own technical events conducted by their departments like national level events.
We have University board exam for every semester and an internal exam in our college. The University exams weigh 70% and the internals weigh 30% of the total marks. It wasn't too hectic in our college. We used have college from 7:30AM to 1PM. So it was like only a half day college. We used to enjoy a lot during our college. In the noon, we used to either hang out or prepare for exams and entrances.

Their where no entrance exams. I chose this college because of its dignity and decorum. I heard that the college is good at discipline so I joined this college.and more over its a girls college. I chose it because I was into coeducation upto 12 standard I needed a change over so chose girls college.
Everything seems to be good, but the only thing that pulls the college down is the fact that it lacks in infrastructure, which i am sure will be taken care of pretty soon as it was under talks when i left the college.also it is an undeniable fact that me being a non-muslim had a difficult time adjusting to the 85% muslim crowd of the college. (but that again is a personal perception and may vary from person to person)apart from that the knowledge that the professors share is unparalleled all in all it is worth spending the 4 years of a students engineering life in Rizvi.
Frankly speaking, the course curriculum was way better than what i expected it to be. it teaches one how to be self dependent and face challenges efficiently. but the overall experience was way better than most engineering colleges in mumbai as i hear from my friends from varied colleges. Also the fact cannot be denied that the attendance criteria is highly flexible and can easily be worked around.

Best college for core engineer in regards of placement and software jobs. 90% placement record for all the batches in all the branches excellent TPO support. TCS CTS IBP WIPRO all are the regular recruiters.
Exam: WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam) Rank: 9000 A student can get admission after clearing WBJEE/AIEEE exam for doing BTech here. Or JELET exam for those who completed the Diploma.
I only took Odisha-JEE. I didn't appear for IIT. I applied for AIEEE but it was too late. I scored rank 3052 in Odisha JEE. At that time this rank is sufficient to get a Computer Science branch in good private colleges (Sillicon,C V Raman, forget ITER). Also I have option of getting a engineering seat in Govt college in Chemical,Civil kind of less preferred branch. I chose this particular college just beacause i was introvert and homesick. This college is in my home town.
Fee structure is like other colleges under BPUT, but i will not tell good. It is quite expensive compared to the quality. Now it is around 1 lac Per year. For every silly thing one needs to pay fine. eg: If somebody misses convocation ceremony, he/she needs to pay fine of 2000/-. Due to poor placement students were trying outside for jobs. So there is no logic in entertaining with fines. Transporation fee is also quite expensive.

The course curriculum designed by faculty of law is very nice. The faculty provides a wide range of different specialisations for students. The students have to opted one specilised subject in each semester. The center of attraction is Law of Insurance, Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), Corporate Laws, Law of Taxation, Law of Contract, Criminal Laws and Family Law. Moreover, a special course viz., LL.M. (HRDE) was available to whom have interest in international law, Human rights and environmental law.

College fests used to extravagant. There used to be two types of fests:1. Departmental and 2. College level. Its a government college. Hence fees are nominal compare to any other college in karnataka. Due to which many poor and meritorious student join this college. College got a 100 year legacy and you go too any reputed industry you can find one person from UVCE.

EAMCET is the entrance test to get a seat in this college. A rank around 10000 will suffice well to get seat in EEE branch. For ECE, CSE 8000 will do for an General Category student. The campus is sub-par. The infrastructure is too old and no proper maintenance except from the front view. The quality of education is between sub-par and average. Besides 1 or 2 senior faculty, all others are either M.Tech passouts who have less and no knowledge about the subject that they teach. Few do not even teach anything. The library has moderate number of books, though many of those are older versions.Fests and Annual Day events do occur every year.
Placements are sub-par. Not many companies come for recruitment. Infosys was the major selector, besides few other small (rather very small or startups) who intake a single digit students.Mostly you will need to attend pool campus placements conducted at different colleges. Also, there is no 100% placement guarantee. On average around 10 to 12% of students get placed.
The college organised several technical and culture fest annually which is attended by the students from other colleges as well. In our college we celebrate one Technical cum Cultural fest ( Anokha ) and One festival ( Gokulastami ).Anokha : This is the biggest fest celebrated in our college once in a year for Three days. As our Syllabus is Reviewed and Updated in 2015( This year ), I personally feel it is excellent. In First semester at computer science, like other colleges we don't have C language, we have it in 2nd Semester. We had Scratch, Raptor and MS Excel which we would be using in Industries, Which I felt is Extremely useful. In First Semester, We had Electronics and Electrical workshop where we got chance to learn real life Electrical works like Staircase wiring and many other electrical works which we would be using in Real life and day to day works. In English, we had boring Grammar too. In Humanities, we had Cultural Education where we got a chance to learn Indian Heritage and Culture, But I would frankly say, Cultural Education is Really a boring subject which we had in 1st Semester. In Engineering Drawing like other colleges we don't have drafter or something, we do all those in CADIAN ( similar to AUTOCAD ), only for mechanical department they have drafter that too in second semester. So, we were not feared of Engineering Drawing in First Semester.

Extraordinary. With all modern facilities which support your studies, cultural activities. And college conducts lot of interesting college competitions, which help students to know how to coordinate, communicate and organise.
There are different fest running through out the year with celebrities from different field like politics, entertainment, science etc. also they encourage the young talents to display their talents and reach the audience.
My college does provide internships. There is a final placement process for final year students usually starting from August. The internship process takes place along with it for 3rd years. 2nd year students are not allowed to attend the internship process through college. However, there are many technical fests that provide internships as rewards and 2nd yea students can grab one of those by winning in those competitions. The general stipend is around 25k to 35k.

Some of the faculty conducts research work throughout the year. Faculty are easily reachable as they can be seen in the department if not in class.

IMT G conducts final placements on the campus. Several companies visit the campus for placements. Salary for marketing companies is high to the tune of Rs 23 Lakh per annum (Domestic), and Rs 33 Lakh per annum (International). For Finance the highest package is around Rs 15 lakh per annum. Profile includes sales, brand manager, research, equity research, investment banking, etc.The college doesnメt see 100 per cent placement during final placements.
