The entrance examination I took was AIEEE (All India Engineering Entrance Examination). The reason I chose this college was mainly because of the following 3 reasons:1. Location: Being located in Faridabad, it was easy to travel up and down to college (through College Bus service) than too take up hostel accommodation. I wasn't willing to relocate to another location to pursue my education. 2. Placements: This college has/is well-known for their placement guarantee. At the time of taking admission, this was the best possible option in Faridabad with best placement history. 3. Good Reputation: The campus has always been known for its quality of education, ranging from multiple subject choices to well-renowned faculty.
The entire 4-year B.TECH course was divided into 8 semesters :1. Semester 3 to 8 - Based on the specialization opted (eg. Computer Science& Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Civil etc. Each semester (except 7 & 8) typically includes 8-9 subjects per semester. The final 2 semesters (7 &8) have comparatively lesser number of subjects owing to final year Live Project.
Our college was co-ed, there was an equal ratio of both the genders and we spent the college life with fun as well as professionalism whatever required. We haven't faced any Diversity issues like race, religion, status etc during three years of our college life. Extracurricular activities were a part of our regular college life and mostly attended with interest as they were making us learning as well as enjoying.
There is no loan facility provided by the college as such but on the basis of merit in higher secondary exams and the inability to afford the fees, the campus will help the students to pursue the courses through scholarships. Loan facility is available by most of the banks at cheap interest rates. I have not availed any of these facilities, but one of my batch mate got a scholarship from the college.

The general rule is that you should expect to spend a minimum of two hours working on assignments outside of class for every hour that you spend in class. So imagine that you are taking 12 credit hours. This number of credit hours requires that you spend at least 10 hours a week attending class, along with at least 20 hours a week working on assignments outside of class (remember that this is a minimum). And you probably spend at least five hours a week getting ready for class and driving to and from the college. That's 35 hours a week as a minimum amount of time you need to devote to your classes, and that's about the equivalent of a full-time job. Now imagine having a full-time job as well.
Few college-bound students have the financial resources to pay for their post-secondary education entirely out of pocket. Even students with substantial college savings plans typically find that they are left with sizable amounts of unmet need. The average total cost of attending a public four-year college is more than $20,000 per academic year. Students planning to attend a private college or university can expect to spend more than $30,000 per academic year. A college education is a costly proposition, and all indications are that those costs are only going to increase.
