Many of my colleagues were placed in some prestigious organisations. Separate classes and seminars are conducted to train students for placements. These classes and seminars are jointly organised by Facilities with the help of volunteers (students). Students here are groomed for interviews and future jobs. These seminars usually take place from 2nd year for llb students and 4th year for ba.llb students. During the last year many renowned companies regularly visit the college. There are guest lectures, where we got numerous opportunity to meet top Advocates in the country. Famous Advocates have passed from ILS who do pay college a visit. In events like international moot courts there are many celebrity judges. Such events are regularly held in the college. Both students and faculties take active part in such events. There are big auditoriums where such event are organised and many students of fellow colleges are also invited. Such events are proudly organised by the college.

I took CAT and IBSAT I took both but the one they looked at was IBSAT. Dont remember the exact score but it was quite good to get into one of the center they have. Why I did opt for this college. Actually the scenario was that they opted for me. Not that I am that brilliant and all that but they have a very good layout designed for their admission process. I am talking about the last date they have to accept or decline their proposal. It comes way before other B-schools even start their admission process. And when it comes to a person like me who has already dropped a year for getting into a better B-School it was a nice trap.

We passed out in the year of recession as they say. But I donot see recession in the campus of IIM, FMS or for that matter in any other top B-School. Ok, I agree that I am not talking about my cadre but at least we deserve a chance to prove. IBS did not even provide us any chance. Almost all the companies were coming up with marketing profile and IBS (Pune) made it compulsory for all the students (all stream) to appear for the process. I was surprised to see Finance and HR students going for marketing jobs.

It is always against students wheel power fees are average however some of the sections can be changed and reduced in the favor of students but again if fees reduce, college can not afford some the the facilities which they are willing to provide as a student I am ready to pay however internet connection should be provided .

Gender ratios will be almost 5:2. For every 5 boys there will be 2 girls and campus looks very good with all greenery and mountains surrounding the college. Labs are good and frequently workshops will be conducted and response from other colleges, participation everything seems fine. Sports life remains only for 2 years later there will be no sports because of tight schedules for classes and labs. Campus recruitment training program will be conducted for final years and that will be useful to lot of students to cope up.

I took EAMCET entrance test and I got 78k rank. This college named average and near to my location, and I heard it is good for Education but later I came to know it is not as I expected. I have joined this college because of its nearby to me and because of my bad rank. It's actually a new block, so I got a seat in ECE even though my rank is not so good. I am bit interested and have some knowledge on ECE dept so took up that course and moreover it is flexible to work in software and hardware organisations.

First of all when freshers comes then we organize a party we called as fresher party. And one year complete then we organize a annual function and alumni festival also. We enjoy a lot and we did different different activities

Senior students are too supportive and they provide material books and notes. They shared different different knowledge and activities and also support in project time and give different idea to work in our project.

Our college was a self financing muslim managment. So there had a placement cell. but they are not much better efficient. They make some intersting classes like personalty devolopment and so on. For taking that clases there are more teachers reached frm outside of kerala too. they teach more activities nd plays nd they creat a positive mind in every students. The companies lik tcs, ibs, etc reached in our clg and some of them placed.

There were a university rule about the internship that every student must do the 10 days internship. so our batch make a internship at cifnet kochin. That was fantastic one. we study about marine engines nd we assumbled it nd understood about every engine parts. one day we go to the sea in a vessel nd make some fishing nd also understood abt the movemnt of vessel nd taste the sea food. It was wonderfull experience.

Usually, placements begin during starting of December. There are lots of companies that come for placements. Highly paid companies like Citi Bank, Barclays, Google, Microsoft, Amazon are in the list. They will be coming at the beginning to filter out the cream layer. There are companies like ICICI, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, which come at the end to recurit students in bulk. There are core comapnies like Tejas Networks, Sterlite, TATA Motors, etc to get the core students. Durning our year 2008-2009, the highest paid was 15 lacs.

There are various events that happen in our college. In terms of technical events, there will be inter college events where we compete with other national level colleges to showcase our expertise and it is funded by each department based on our project. Also, cultural events like Rendezvous wass a big event, where lots of celebrities are invited to have a nice cultural events to compete and celebrate during the complete week.

College lacks area its the only bad mark it has no ground inside college we use external grounds.college management is good. Good faculty and good choice of electives. It followed Kerala university syllubus formely and now follows Kerala technical univers

College has technical and cultural fest called CULT A WAY. Which is ones of the best in south India as per surveys. Famous musicians from all parts of India would perform in it. It is a four day event.

The campus was very good. When I see the campus then I decided to study in that college. Because the appearance of the college was very good and the green grass and the small lake beside of the college full of attraction. the gender ratio was equal and the labs were very good and neat maintenance. The football and cricket grounds were also there and basket ball ground also there. It was very nice college and the college was very neat and pleasant atmosphere.

When we were in final year so many multi level companies were came and conducted drives. The placements were very good. So many friends were selected in most of the companies and the level 3 and level 4 companies were also participated in the drives. The off campus and on campus drives were conducted by our college and I also placed one company. The campus selections were very good. If you are good at skills and communication.

The have good placement cell and give 100% job assistance to their students The objective of the Institute is to have a placement system that identifies industries which require the skills preached by the Institute and carries out hard efforts to get the students placed. Top recruiting companies are Samsung, Genpact, L&T, ICICI, Vodafone, Reebok, P&G, RBS, Lilliput, American Express, TATA.

The Faculty of college focuses on management education more than just business management. The commitment is thought leadership with a deep understanding of business. The approach to pedagogy combines fieldwork, case studies and instrumented feedback with a strong emphasis on concepts and theory the intent is to encourage intellectual curiosity and open minds to the adventure of ideas.

Faculty is good with quite a few being alumni of the college. Teaching standards are good and curriculum is updated. Few courses in other departments like maths and physics were good. Dual degree students have one project in their final year. They are with B.Tech students for 3 years and then with M.Tech students.

Campus life was awesome. Only bicycles were allowed for students. The greenery was great and biodiversity was good. Lots of extracurricular activites were available. Every week we have a movie played at open air theatre and talks from eminent personalities were conducted regularly.

Summer internship is mandatory and is important and integral part of the academic curriculum.Students are selected through a rigorous selection process based on universally accepted tests like CAT, MH CET, etc. Selected students are taken for induction. Internship gives the details of students background, their experience and other vital statistics. Stipend would be approx 15 thousand p.m.

Campus of somaiya is one every student dream of. It's big that we can play many sports game and many festivals can be arranged. It meets the quality standards of every student. They are many workshops conducted in college for example career related workshops to educate the students about various courses available to them.

This is one of the college which I can say under WBUT which provided in campus placement and that too with high rate for good MNC like IBM , TCS etc. The turnover rate for the campus selection is above 80% and almost all the students get placed with the campus for the CSE and EEE stream.

Campus life is cool . The male/female ratio is around 6:4. The college has seperate labs for each different course and good library facilities. There is big ground for the sports activity. The culture of the college is vey soothing and there is no diversity in terms of gender , race etc.

For CS/IT there are good opportunities. Mass recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Accenture and many more recruit. Most of the companies do not visit the campus but they allow the students to appear for placements in some other college. Companies like ADOBE also started recruiting from BIET, but very few students are selected. The core companies rarely visit the campus and the companies which visit the campus for mechanical/civil/chemical engineers are not good one. The students of these core branches try for off-campus recruitment. Most of the students from core branches go for higher studies.The general package offered by the recruiter ranges from 2.5 lpa to 4 lpa. Only the companies like Adobe are offering more than 8 lpa. More than 50% get the placements courtesy to mass recruiters like TCS/Infosys/Accenture/HCL

Campus life is good. It is a very nice campus. Students can roam freely here and there. Since the location of college is outside the city, there is no issue of pollution and noise. There is a 20% reservation for girls, so the gender ratio is satisfactory. Most of the students are from Uttar Pradesh, so you cannot expect huge diversity in terms of language and culture. Hostel life is good. Sports facilities are also satisfactory. Badminton, volleyball courts have been provided. There is a big sports ground, which is utilized for cricket, football and cultural events. Annually, there are sports events, where students can participate in various field and track events. The technical events are also part of college life.

Campus life was on average good. Nice environment for studies. Healthy competition between students. Good senior junior relationship. There is ample support for extracurricular form college system. Alumni network is not very good in my college. The college has not organized any alumni meet since 2009. They are also less aware about current positio of their alumni. However, few alumni who are frequent in visiting college are noted by the management.

Gender ration was almost 30 -70 as being an engineering college female population was only in Electronics and computer branch. Ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation were not at all the part of our college life. As nothing such thing happened during that time. Regarding economic status all students were from High middle class or middle class sections and basically from North and South India.

Technical ,cultural and management festivals were more participated outside the college as compared to inside the college. As in Bangalore its a good culture of Intra college activities. Activities were not as huge as compared to good colleges in Bangalore as management was reluctant to invest time and money in these activities.

Placements and job opportunities are very good. Every student in the college would get placed. They have a concept of Tier 1-2-3 where the companies are strucuted in a way that services companies are placed in tier 3. Some MNCs are in tier 2. And very good companies comes under tier 1 Tier 3 companies like infosys,tcs,wipro etc were offering somewhere below 3.75lakhs per annum.Tier 2 companies like Siemens,emc,Symphony,Target,nds,netapp were offering somewhere between 3.75 to 7 lakhs per annumTier 1 companies like Google,Amazon,Yahoo,Cisco were offering above 7lakhs.

Even now they have a alumni meet yearly once. Which will bring us sweet memories. The alumni meet happens twice every year. Once on independence day and another one on republic day. Every student will get a mail notification to our personal mail ids. And some of them will turn up attending the function and making sure the function get success. Senior students are verychelpful when it comes to placements. They were helping us always to get into a good company.

Course curriculum is good mostly emphasis on skill and knowledge of the student there was a freedom to choose over selective topics and projects for major and minors scholarships were also there by some private funded organisation as well as governing bodies.

I gave Punjab CET along with other entrance exams but i got nice rank in CET in that I was not getting my preferences in other colleges thats why i opted this among other colleges which were nice and had reputation.

Visions is the name of my college festival. The annual inter collegiate festival of SIES. The events at the festival imcluded regular doses of performing,literary and fine arts events along with some unique events like let the junk play,where participants created music from junk stuff given to them,model political party event saw participants floating hope for a new,clean GenNext political party.

Campus placement is something which everyone is aware. In my college as well the campus interview took place and a lot of students participated in it. Some were tensed while some were excited. There are ample scope of job opportunities and placements. The only thing is one should try their best to get selected.
