Yes there are good placement record from the beginning minimum 70% students got placed in a reputed companies before finished the courses. there are big companies coming for placement like. TCS, IBM, Infosys,Wipro, HCL etc. For core stream there are companies like Binani, BIRLA group, TATA, Thermax, Polycap etc. Recent years Govt. sec also coming i.e. Indian army, navy, HSTL etc. Most of the students got more than one job. In year 2015 90% student got placed in a good company.

The course structure was very well planned with emphasis on case studies for better understanding of concepts. Group assignments helped in developing team work and people management skills. First year was common with equal emphasis to learn all the management subjects such as Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT, Stats, Organisation Behavior etc for basic understanding of all the important aspect of any business. Second year was focused on the sector you want to specialize with electives to substantiate your learning in a particular field. Project in the social sector helped us understand the managerial skill sets required and was an integral part of the curriculum.

The placement provided by the institute is very good with great job opportunities. Students had option to choose from multiple job offers. The entire batch was placed on 1st day of placement itself. We had companies from diverse sectors, consulting, financial services (Banks and Investment Bank, Research Firms), FMCG, Pharma, Media, IT sector etc. Some of the marquee names were Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, Citi Bank, Enam, P&G, HUL, Accenture, Mckinsey, CTS, E&Y, HCL, Microsoft, Castrol etc, Minimum offer was INR 10 lakhs CTC with highest offer being close to INR 25 lakhs.

I havent availed any scholarship and know bare minimum below is copy pasted from their site. At Nowrosjee Wadia College, the meritorious students should be rewarded and should not be left out of the main stream in their quest for higher education. Scholarships at the college are provided to the outstanding students. Thus, to recognize talent of meritorious and needy students, the college has provision of scholarships, medals, awards and certificates. Regulations governing these scholarships/awards can be amended from time to time.

The exams were a little hectic as we had internals and externals in those 6 months so sometimes it left the portion incomplete and students had the pressure to learn on their own. The only hectic exams were the project viva where students waited for their turn for hours and had to face external as well as internal jury where marks were sometimes inexplicable.

The gender ratio was 1 girl student on 4 boy's student. The life was coll in the campus as we were have lot of activities after our college times. And student can go to their respective event for the Pershing of there interest. Sports club, MAD club, Yoga club, Tech. Club, chess club, chef club for cooking classes. Student in our college used to come from all field of life, religion and places.

PUNJAB CET I have taken to get an admission in engineering college. I was not able to get a seat in Jalandhar REC (now NIT'S) because of higher rank(1300), and higher fees in thapar institute of engineering and and other private colleges. I have decided to take a seat in govt. College. Because of lack of guidance and awarenace I have decide to pursue my career production engineering.

No internship here cammon what are you thinking is this some kind of joke place is like after a year it will be dull as there is not much to see and enjoy in durgapur if by any chance u get ur self a girlfriend,than 4 years will be smooth if not,than have lots and lots of good friends this place does get lonely sometimes.

Placements are line in a batch of 500 ,140 got placed which is not good at all but,if u are really talanted and lucky ,may be again may be u will be able to get urself a job .

More research-oriented courses are necessary especially related to the Ph.D. thesis of an individual. However, we had the freedom to choose the course from the different departments which I think was the best thing to have good knowledge of the subject a which we like. Research-oriented courses were always taken after consulting our Ph.D. guide. A total of 36 credits for science Ph.D. students and 16 credits for M.Tech finished Ph.D. students had to undertake.

It was not that hectic for Ph.D. students who were more focused on research activities. However, the teaching assistantship was a little hectic as we had to do a TA ship of 8 hours per week till we get paid as a stipend. Otherwise, it was chilling days on weekends. There were mid-semester and final exams every 6 months.

The college celebrates all the national festivals along the religious festivals like deepawali , holi, eid, roja iftar party, college fest , various sports events along with the Yoga day and many other programs like blood donation, NSS, etc. The college also celebrates the annual function with many reputed personalities like Mohit chauhan and many others.

The course structure is highly effective and deals with the development of new polymers which are highly environmental friendly. All facilities including various chemicals and latest tools and techniques for characterizing and identification of the developed polymerized products are available for to promote the research.

It is a dream campus to be in. Life is totally happening here. Gender ratio is also very healthy. Students from i guess every state of our country are here and some are even of abroad. Labs are in excellent condition till now. Sports grounds for each and every game are here and that to in multiple numbers. And also first mountainous golf course of ASIA is under construction. Our cricket ground is bigger that the WANKHADE cricket ground in mumbai.

The placements are very good. 15% of the students from pour batch are already placed and luckily that includes me. Highly reputed companies are coming for placement drives and they are offering high packages to the freshers. And also in the coming semester various companies like microsoft and mercedez are coming and even if we are placed we can sit in these companies as these are big names.

I think the gender ratio would be like 3/4 girl/boy so you won't find the dominance of one particular gender in here we get dj party at particular period of time rest you can party in your room here you can find lot of student diversity from region to country there are students from almost every state of India, and even from different countries like Afghanistan, Africa and many more people are involved in their, no body interferes in others matter but we do get along with each other and specially during the events like One world and one India.

This college holds events like one India one world, their own fest like Youthvibe and other events like spectra jhankar which involves competitions like dance, singing, acting and many others even celebrities like sharukh, Deepika, akshay kumar, jacquline fernandez, ayushman, sonam kapoor and many more has visited this college and even singers like gurdas man, diljit and many other have done shows in it on yearly basis they have coke studio performing in the campus lovely is full of event, competitions, cocurricular activities and many more.

Exam structure is well planned both for external and internal exams. But the class tests would sometimes be scheduled suddenly. The external exams and labs are strictly conducted and the question paper is very tricky (At least for questions would be tricky) for which only textbook knowledge is not enough always. The invigilation is also very strict irrespective of whether it is an internal or external exam.

Most of the professors in the University have PHD degrees and there are many research scholars who can guide us whenever required.The professors encourage us to take up many research studies so that they make a good path for future. There will be supporting by guiding us through some publications in IEEE.

Bhagalpur college of Engineering organizes Technoriti as its annual festival every year from 2012. Started with the name AAGHAZ the festival comprises Parakram the annual Sports meet, Umang the Cultural festival and technical fest. Later in 2013 the name aaghaz was changed to Technoriti by the student organisation which additionally included Sangam as the Alumni meet of BCE Bhagalpur.

Curriculum is at par with NITs. 5 branches are there: Civil,mech.,elect,ece and computer . The institute offers full-time Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree programs in disciplines of science and technology viz. Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering.

Around 50 to 75 Companies will come for on-campus and off-campus placements .But speaking about on-campus placements,the main companies who will participate in palcements are WIPRO,INFOSYS,CAPGEMINI,CSC and HCL.These companies will offer salary around 3,00,000 to 3,25,000 p.a.and these companies will recruit around 10 to 20 students from each departments according to their talents. Other than these companies,various companies will participate in placement deive.

Twice a year,the Department people will organise Symposiums and Cultural activities.The Culturals will be a very much enjoying one. Apart from this,various workshops will also be conducted and also Icon Awards and Teachers day award function will be organised every year.

Placements is good for IT branches but for rest branches the students may not be getting their desired job. It is not like that core companies doesn't visit United Institute of Technology but actually they rarely visit it. In my time IT companies visited the most like HCL, Wipro, TCS but being en electrical engineer I didn't want to go to an IT company so I didn't sit for the placements. However I got a job in my sector afterwards all thanks to the knowledge I received from my college.

Every college life is good and the most precious moment one student can live. The same is the case in my college too. Gender ratio is also good as girls nowadays are going for technical courses too. Generally one week find local students only but even if someone is from outside also then there is no problem. I myself was from Bihar but studied in United Institute of Technology which is in Uttar Pradesh.

Almost 99% students gets placed with 50% students having more than 1 job in hand the placement team takes a lot off pain to bring in the best companies for placement the companies are divided into 4 categories A, A+, A++ and dream a normally comprises of TCS, Infosys etc. A+ has EVS, Mu Sigma. A++ like ZS Associates, Bain, So if you get into A, you can still appear for A+ and A++ and dream and so on.

3 fests are held 2 cultural and 1 technical. 1 cultural fest is intra college called Resonance. It is a fun event as people get in touch with other departments then a inter college technical fest which is the main platform for techies just before the end of the year, inter college cultural fest called Moksha is held which is known in Delhi and is among the biggest fest in Delhi.

Not very expensive as par with other colleges in the university since bus and food is mandatory, the fee includes that too but they don't charge extra for that so overall I would say its ok not very bad apart from the fees, they also change for notebooks its mandatory to buy notebooks from them.

Placements are at par with other leading colleges in Chennai/ India back then in 2005 almost 60% was placed via campus placement it may be much better now. Back then, the max salary was around 3 LPA. I am sure now its much much more companies like Infosys, TCS, Hexaware visited in 2005.

There isn't much focus on research by the department but it's mostly upto the student. It is a pretty relaxed system where the student has the option for doing research if he wants or not. There are electives in the 3rd and 4th years and you get to choose what subjects you would prefer over otgers, though there might not always be a spot for the course you wish to go for. There are also global electives in which you can study one subject from any other stream and there are courses on management and entrepreneurship too.

Campus life is peaceful and fun. The gender ration is a bit off sure, there is 80:20 boys to girls ratio. Parties are common in hostels. There are plenty of societies for students to join according to their interests and they're mostly fun to be in. There is no discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, race etc among students. All students live happily together and no enimity is ever based on above mentioned factors. You get to meet people from different parts of the country and the world and all of us live in peace.

In merit I got fees up to Rs 86,000/- per year including travel,hostel & food experiences, but normal fees was nearly RS.1,15,000/- per year.Transport charges from native to Thiruvannamalai is RS.40,000/- whereas local costs Rs 25,000/-. Apart from these per exam paper cost Rs 100/- and practical Rs 150/- Totally each semester it cost around Rs 1200/- apart from academic fees. As we middle class family, the cost of this course is little expensive.

We had several technical symposiums regularly in monthly intervals. At the end of academic cultural events were conducted,cine stars will come & lots of entertainment programmes were conducted. At the month of August sports day will be held in a very grand manner. Many intra & inter college competitions will be going on. Other functions like pongal,independence,republic day etc. were conducted happily.

We had annual culture meet, sports day celebrations, lectures from guests, festival celebrations etc., regularly. The Amity annual fest is a very big event held at the level of the University. It is the most looked forward to event of the year.Each and every student participated or went for the fest. The annual sports day celebration is also a highly enjoyed and participated in event. There is always a ferocious competition between courses, and the students had fun participating in all the activities.

The faculty is highly qualified and committed to student learning. Each student got individual attention and doubts were clarified on the spot. Some of the faculty members who later moved to corporate jobs are now leaders in Biotechnology R&D. I highly recommend this college for the quality of education and focus on providing the best faculty. The concepts that were taught to us are still clear in our mind.

Placements are up to market standards and even better than some of the NITs big Companies like Oracle 8.5 LPA, Microsoft 10.5 LPA, Samsung 8LPA, SAP 8 LPA, apart from these there are lots of big gov companies for different branches including ONGC, GAIL, SAIL, BHEL, HPCL, BPCL and Coal india limited.

We have a lot of clubs ranging from technical to recreational. Drama,dance,astronomy,robotics,Student formula one,painting, music,photography,rubiks cube club,coding club,electronics club,social service,entrepreneurship club,economics club etc. You can like any of them and easily enter as a trainee. We have the technical festival TRYST, sports fest SPORTECH and the cultural and the biggest fest of north india RENDEZVOUS. We also have festivals organised by literary club LITERATI and management fest organised by Department of Management studies IIT Delhi. All these fests are big enough to ensure participation from colleges across India of all these Rendezvous attracts about 10k students from various colleges across the country for various participation in qulaifying competitions for dance,drama,fashion etc. Every year we have a bollywood celebrity between us making the festival even more exciting.

Most of the 1000 students who sit for placements are placed. Package varies from 1 crore to 5 lakhs. The highest packages are for people from CS background and offered by companies such as Microsoft,Google,Facebook and Samsung. Then come the consulting giants like Bain and company,Parthenon,Mc Kinsey which offer around 15-30 lakhs. Now a days a lot of startup such as Ola,Flipkart,Grofers offer attractive packages for people from coding background as well as management positions. They offer packages ranging from 9-20 lakhs depending on candidates and positions. Apart from these there are lot of core technical companies such as Daikin(12-18 lakhs),ITC (17 Lakhs) which offer good compensation.
