I wrote PGCET with microbiology as the subject. I wanted to join in biotechnology hence found that microbiology will be an easy option for writing the entrance exam as it would help getting a nice rank. I got 91 rank. Then I went through the counselling process where I had the options of all the colleges. I chose Osmania University college for women as it is near to my residence and only girls college. The main reason it's a very reputed college with good teaching.

The course provided is apt according to syllabus and the faculty is very knowledgeable and research oriented. The course focus on the theory as well as practical with research point of view. Most of the faculty members are doctorate some are even pursuing. The faculty guides to the research point.

Placement are quite good (90%+),with an average of about 6.8 lacs and the minimum bandwidth for placement is 3.78 lacs ,hence company cant register below it.

The number of females were very less in our Mechanical stream which is the case everywhere if we are talking about Mechanical .But the number of boys & girls in other departments like EE, CSE, IT was almost equal. The workshop that was provided by the college was one of the best available from all the college in WB. Specially the Mechanical workshop had too many machines for everyone. Apart from workshop, the number of Computer Labs were also very high. Many students of our college were from outside WB but they gelled well with local students like us.

When I joined the college, I was fortunate enough to have few of the best faculties For mechanical for the first two years it was a cake walk but after those two years, due to certain politics in college administration, most of the good faculties were forced to leave this college for better career opportunities at the present, most of faculties are part-time with almost nil experience of teaching.

I took WBJEE entrance.Rank was near about 29000.I admitted in the B.tech cause i wanted to be an engineer & this college is located near kolkata and it is affiliated to wbut. I can easily got admission in any training institute. So i was choose this college.

College management were very good when the recession is not effected in india. They did not bring good companies for mass recruiting. They are very clever and they know how to get high rated their college. So don't think about it.

Gender ratio of around 60 40 with no sorts of restrictions whatsoever between Guys and Girls extracurricular activities is one of the many things i like most about my college with different sports fests being organised now and then encouraging you to participate and compete at National level there are different associations of students for Tech crazies like Drishti for robotics, ACM for CS people, AISEC, Foreign Student Association for students outside of India, a cultural society called CHRD which organizes events every weeks to maintain a serene enviornment all the time.

There is a event organized every year for final year student with different Alumini invited so that students can interact with them and can get some useful guidelines regarding their Placement doubts future scope market demands or be it anything senior Students are very friendly and helpful ready to help and guide you any time your need be providing you with data necessary for you to excel through your college and corporate life.

The campus of the college in 10 acres large and is quite good for every student with two libraries and 9 blocks for students. The gender ratio is near to equal. There are many cultural societies like dance, music, theatre.

There are two annual festivals of one of dance BALDORIA. There is attendence of 4-5 thousand people in this two day festival. And the other festival being GENISIS with the attendence of 6k people in three days.

Admission is given by merit base of b.sc marks. This course is best for bsc student for teaching career.

Campus life was the best life. there were girls also. but we all used to take part in dibets and cultural societies.

The professor who taught us was awesome in nature and was extreme cool. He taught us like his own children.

When i came first day this college i thought i was just average college but i was wrong when the faculity and other services gives to us are changes my mind teachers are so nice they are not for only intelligent people they also took average or poor student with them and help properly and equally thats why in final year our BCA students result was 100% not only in study in sports boxing, hockey and in dancing bhangra and giddha group our college is on top in our state well library neat and big canteen well deciplined college i love my college.

Everything is best regarding this college faculity is also so good they know when the students need extra classes and when projects burdon are on students they divide students according to projects and help all students.

I had one experience in 2014 with the junior as i went to the junior classroom and they asked me to solve a sum and i am very poor mathemetics and i was unable to solve and being source to laugh.

Bad highlight of my college is that is was made in 1996 the builing was very poor. Its classroom service are very poor.teachers are all good and mangment of college are also good and i love this college i not see the bad thing i just see the good things in this college.
