Yes the college infrastructure is good n vastly spread. Strictness of teachers depends on the branch u opt. EC guys are not dat 'kind'. Civil profs are standard n balanced. Now they are making smartcard for students.

Course curriculum is fine, although dey don't update the syllabus regularly, overall its not too outdated (atleast for civil branch) all prof are from IIT, so its all standard.

Gender ratio is on the higher side among the engineering colleges in India. The college has ateast two societies for each department which makes it the right place for extra curricular activities. Apart from tech societies numerous non- tech society like of dance and music are also there which take cares of every talent the college gets every year. The college also has zero ragging tolerance policy which makes it very interactive with seniors.

Alumni association is there to help students with every off/on campus problem. The association is of very help in placements as they give the first hand experience of the company visiting college for the recruitment. Number of sessions with seniors have helped me out in choosing a right path after the college and the pros and cona of various companies.

Campus life is always a fun they always conduct a good competative challenges for each type of faculties. Workshop, labs are good at there place but we cant called it as excellent. They dont deserve a excellent word. Sport is really good as compare to colleges other activities.

Worst. As they written on their prospectus. There is not single company which came for placement. Actually they are clear type of liers. I am hoping a good change otherwise if this things seems to be continued then after a some years people will lost the faith on truth.

I can get a seat in bit sindri with this rank though i joined haldia institute of technology, haldia after doing a small research on its infrastructure and campus placements details using my AIEEE 2005 all india rank 37296 through AIEEE state college admission drive. I am proud of my decision i took in 2005.

The course curriculam in this college is now become autonomous but when i was taken the admission it is under West Bengal University of Technlogy now called as Maulana Abul kalam Azad University of Technology. The course curriculam in this college is very good and focused in a learning way. So if u have a learning attitude you will find a good learning environment here. And if i have to say about faculty the faculties of this college are very good and very much knowledgeble.

The placement of this college is very good. Most of the branded company regulary visit this college like Tcs Wipro Infosys. These companies are really good for the freshers as freshers are very keen towards the learning. Most of the student get placed in these multinational company. Throughout my four years, I have had countless opportunities to develop my leadership and analytical thinking skills through the Bachelors Degree. These attributes were key factors in securing my job as a Mechanical Engineer in addition, there were a wide variety of social events that managed to be both engaging and educational. I'll always look back on the activities such as trivia nights and community service projects with fond memories throughout my experience at Sharda University, the Bachelors Degree has taught me to challenge myself. In the beginning, I was very hesitant because the stress of college started to become overwhelming. However, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made and it is extremely rewarding. I have met some of my closest friends in the courses and I have many memories attached with the program.

College festival is one of the highlights of my college named Chorus. It is one of the best festivals of the north india in any college with all big celebs being invited some of them were Salman khursheed, Sonu Nigam, Jal band, KK, Saleem Suleman, OM puri, Imteyaz Ali, Raghu Ram, Bani, Ranvijay, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi, Soonam Kapoor and many more.

It was counseling and Merit based based on my marks i was selected in 1st counseling itself and got admission easily, however there were up to 8 counselings now coming to the course my parents and other relatives suggested me to go for it. I also liked the course and the opportunities i will get after completing it, specially government job(s). I chose this college because it have good infrastructure, management and specially good services, system over others during research before admission, i found its better over others. Its co-aided, so i was sure about quality. It's location is quite good, good transport services available (own or public transport, both are good) which was a plus point while choosing it.

That is a highlight from morning assembly to extension lectures to debates, everything quite impressive you must be surprised with morning assembly in a college but this is quite regular here gender ratio is towards Girls mainly because of the course, it is more towards girls there are around 10 Males to 20 Females.

Management of college is very good and maintenance is also very good this college is best of our area.
