Almost every classroom has facility of Projectors ,AC .NIT Agartala's sports complex is the biggest sports complex comparing to the other NITs.Students can involve in different clubs as Mbaja ,Ebaja for their interest and participate in national programme with other NITS and IITs.

The course curriculum is almost upto the mark and exam system is also good . One can enhance their skills by opting any of the branches in that college. One can use the knowledge in the practical world as the college has conduct different technical fest . A semester involves 2exams mid term and endterm exam and College conducts class tests,quizzes before every mid term and end term exams, difficulty level of exams are moderate.

There is no tuition fees for all. Staff members most of stayed in hostel only. That's why hostel students are schedule to prepare the exam in evening class. Almost one hour studied regularly. My department is electrical and electronics engineering. My department faculty members are very calm and having extraordinary teaching skills. I got 80 percentage and so 7 members got destination. Exams are available in two months once. So we studied in time and cover all the portion. 5 ratings given to my course and faculty members

The tuition fee is around 25k in first year and 15k in rest other years. The hostel and mess fee is nearly 30k in first year and 20k for rest of the years. You can apply for state and central scholorships. The university will also provide scholorships. Merit scholarship will be given to top 3 performers in semester from each department and class. They will get 10k , 7.5 k , 5k respectively for semester. There is no policy of fee increase. Last time when the university increased fee the Students Federation of India (SFI) fought with the university for more than 30 days and filed a petition in madras high court and finally revoked the fee increase.

The course and its curriculum is very good and relevant. Usually BA History course in other institutions will mostly centred on Indian history. But here the syllabus covers wide range of papers like world history, indian history, archaeology, museology, numismatics, and architecture. Lack of faculty is the main problem here.

The University is still in construction and as of now our classes are in rented buildings but it is quite spacious. There are various clubs as well which are recommended to us and there are number of extra curricular activities for those interested as there are instances where students gets to visit other states representing the University.

The fees is minimal I think because we are paying around 6500 per semester i.e. for 6 months and we can also avail National Scholarships through its portal and can also apply for the State scholarships after the verification however you can only avail one scholarship at a time.

At my time the tuition fee was 1,75,000 per semester it increases like 10% every year but not for us for the new admitted batch. My whole btech would take around 20L with hostel fee included. In library we get lots of different book for all the different branches. In classroom we can see E-class. Every month there's is sports competition students go outside for tournaments. First of all my course is B.C.A. so this course is so interesting and gain a technical knowledge and skills. I opted for zoology because of its well known professor and excellent on going projects and research work The curriculum prepares us well as in this department some specialised subjects are taught,eg- immunology and Ecology, and benefits in knowing the Himalayas conservation. There are no areas of improvement as everything happens in well manared and on time. Exams are organised every week .

Overall NIT Kurukshetra is a very reputed college. It is one of the oldest RECs (rechristened to NIT in year 2002) established in 1963. NIT Kurkshetra has produced some of the very fine engineers in the country. Though it is located on the outskirts of Kurukshetra city, but it still has a very good access to the bus stand and the railway station. It is a 3–3.5 hours drive away from Delhi. Regarding the infrastructure, the old red building (the iconic symbol of the college) is not in a very presentable condition. Every year small maintenance work is done to avoid any further decay. But overall the infrastructure is very good as compared to many NITs, and other colleges. Our college provide fees benefits on the basis of the annual income of family. If the annual income of family is less than 1 lakh then his tuition fees is zero. If anual family income is above 1 lakh but less than 5 lakh then his tution fees will be 1 /3rd of the total tuition fees. If the annual family income is above 5 lakh the tution fees will be complete no excemption.

For each semester there are seperate amounts to be paid as tuition fees. For the first semester it's about 20000 and for the second and fourth semester fees is around 3500. The tuition fees for the third semester is around 9700 rupees. There will be considerable increase in tuition fees for each year which is atmost 1000 rupees.
