DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

At the end of the 5th semester, placement starts in the college. This year 192 companies visit our companies and many of them are big companies. The highest package offered is 1.84 crore. About 80% of students get placed. After taking the degree I plan to get a job.

DTU is famous due to its placement cells as it allows all students from all MNCs who came here with high, above average, and here average package is 9 lakhs in Biotech but these are not for core backgrounds for Software developers. Here are the placement stats- Highest international- 1.84cr/annum Highest domestic- 64lakhs/annum Students placed - 1833/1881(97.45%) Students placed with CTC more than 20lakhs are 410. For internships, companies take three sem CGPA.

The placement of the college is best beats lots of IIT, the highest package is 1.80 cr international and 64 LPA domestic this time. Approximately 98% of students got the placement, all over the college and almost all companies visit here.

Placement in my college is very good around 20 lakh per annum is the average salary of tech branches, almost 95% of students are placed every year they get a big companies like amazon, google, sprinkler, ola, uber, and Zomato.

DTU is mainly known for its outstanding and awesome Placements. Almost all big companies like Amazon, Facebook, Google, BCG, Morgan Stanley, Atlassian, Microsoft, PSUs, and all big firms visit the colleges for placements in Tech non-tech and core. Last year 97.45 percentage eligible students got placed with a high international package 1.8 CR and the highest domestic 66 LPA by Apple. The average Computer Engineering was about 22 LPA and the total average college was around 16 LPA.

The course is boring and the curriculum is out of date. They are teaching us useless subjects in which we don't need any expertise. Teachers are not at all supportive and very aggressive. They will take out personal anxiety on your exam sheets. We have to beg them for a 1-1 mark so that we at least pass. I got decent marks in my external exams but they gave me fewer marks in internals and so I failed.

The placement of DTU is great for tech branches(CS, IT etc) most of the top companies Amazon Google apple recruits from DTU. For non-tech branches placements are good because the pay avg package(6.5 lacs) is low than the tech branches(18lacs). But if you want you can grab the tech placement by studying for it.

DTU has a record of 100% placements. Students are offered campus placements after the 3rd year ends. Most of the top companies come to the college for campus selections, like google, TCS, Microsoft, Samsung, and all. The highest package in the year 2020-2021 was for 1,60,00,000 rupees/ manually. The average package is one of the best in the country around 15 to 20 lac/ year. I also want to get selected by the companies like google, amazon with a high package.

I chose computer science because I was simply interested in computers and how they functioned but also the fact that DTU provided excellent internship and placement opportunities in this branch which the other components are not eligible for; there are 500 students in computer science, the faculty is to student ratio would be around 1:70. The faculty quality is excellent as most of them are Ph.D. holders from well-known Indian as well as foreign universities and speak English as well as Hindi to support all kinds of students. The schedule of the mid-term is given at the very beginning of the semester, and the program of the end term is at the end of the central tern examination, and there is no irregularity in this.

DTU offers internships and placements at the beginning of the 4th year. All the major companies such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, Sprinklr, Amazon, and many more come to hire students for full-time employment. The highest domestic package is around 63 lacs offered by Apple and 1.2cr International by Amazon Dublin. Almost every student is placed by the end of the season. My plan after completing my degree is to work for a good company for 3-4 years and then do masters.
