- The faculty, campus area, the surroundings and the environment
- The infrastructure is very good as the architect was good
- The type of people here you meet are kind and helpful
Dislikes
- There is a lot of competition here hence leading to less placement
- The behaviour of some assistants are too odd
- The open campus environment is a bit disturbing as entry time is less
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is similar in terms with other colleges like iits, nits. The faculty is helpful if you are someone who studies day and night. The exams are pretty easy and hence most of us here clear them by studing 1 night before the exam

- Campus is very attractive if you are extrovert you can make friends easily
- Lots of street foods are available at affordable cost
- Different types of tourism places near the college
Dislikes
- Restrictions of the hostel as they sometimes don't allow to go outside on weekends
- Discrimination done by students as some of them don't talk to you if you don't speak their language
- There is very less senior interaction it hard to make senior friends if you are introvert
Placement Experience:
Well college claims that they have hundred percent placement but there is crowd more then six to seven thousand engineering students which make this look quite impossible if I won't satisfied from the placement I would be preparing for government examination

- Hostel in time is less. We have to reach hostel before 7pm

- the college faculties are quite overrated.
Student Snaps:
Course Curriculum Overview:
the course curriculum is quite good. infact it deals with all the real world aspects in today's technical world. it provides many interesting domains to explore. but when it comes to the teaching methods, and the University's policy, i think the preparation timing that the University provides is quite less, and due to less preparation timing, many important topics from the interview point of view are neglected. and its not enough for a student to study only the topics present in University syllabus and get a good satisfying job. one should also develop many practical skills by themselves. last but not the leat, the timing of exams conducted are quite satisfactory.

KIIT: 1 Answered Question
What is your review of KIIT University?
Kalyan SahuLives in Bhubaneshwar
Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.
