Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is quite relevent in terms of Computer Science, with the subjects like Data Strutures and algorithm, COA, Operating Systems, Java, C/C++ and maths that make our learning useful to the real world.

- The campus is a fun place to explore, socialize and get out of your comfort zone.
- The infrastructure, the kiit brand are pretty good. One gets a lot of opportunities in kiit.
- The faculty are highly experienced in their respective field and minimum are a PhD holders.
Dislikes
- The fees is quite high for middle class students.
- The placements are not good for majority of students and the average package is also not that good.
- The Hostel food is terrible on most days and south Indians face a lot of trouble adjusting to food and climate.
Placement Experience:
The placement are average in kiit. The student are eligible from sixth semester for campus placements and internships. Many companies like TCS, Deloitte, Accenture , Wipro, Amazon, High radius, etc visit our campus. More than 2000 offers were made by these companies. The highest package was 63 lacs and average package was around 7.5 lacs. Roughly around 80 percent students get placed. I plan to do job after completing my graduation.

- ENVIRONMENT OF THE CAMPUS IS VERY PLEASANT AND GREEN CAMPUS.
- MORE NUMBER ON FACULTIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR DIFFERENT COURSES.
- OUR INSTITUTE RUNS KISS FOR POOR STUDENT IN WHICH THEY CAN STUDY FREE OF COST.

- THE COST OF INSTITUTE FEE IS LITTLE MUCH HIGH.
- HOSTEL FOOD ARE NOT LIKED BY TOO MUCH STUDENTS.
- LOCAL BOYS OF THIS INSTITUTE ARE VERY VULNERABLE PERSON IN THIS INSTITUTE.
Course Curriculum Overview:
1) I HAVE INTEREST IN DEALING WITH COMPUTER APPLICATIONS SO I DECIDED TO CHOOSE THIS COURSE.
2) NOT MUCH EXPERIENCE RIGHT NOW BUT DAY BY DAY IT'S IMPROVING.
3) THE AREA WE HAVE TO DEVELOP FOR THIS COURSE ARE CODING SKILLS AND PRACTICE TO CODING WITH DSA.
4) MID SEMESTER TIMING- 1.5 HOURS AND THE END SEMESTER TIMING OF 3 HOURS.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose BTech Course is because its exposure in KIIT and there is also a good coding environment in KIIT.
The curriculum prepares very valuable things that prepares me for real world applications or further academic pursuits.

Placement Experience:
Students Start from 3rd year itself some people get internship from 2nd year as well. The offers are not less like there are a lot of companies and for my specific branch the average has been more than 8lakh per annum. If I had to say a placement percentage i would say about 90 Percent of people actually get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I study in the field of computer science and engineering. The college provides us with relevant and interesting courses with top of the class, highly qualified professors. They can improve by updating the course with trending and new topics. We have 2 exams per semester, one midsem and one endsem. The exams are challenging but interesting

- Campus Life is really good with a lot of activities like swimming gym and football and cricket grounds
- It's a very social place to make a lot of friends and have fun
- The infrastructure is great with labs and workshops to help learn the practical side of things
Placement Experience:
KIIT has a 90% placement rate, with graduates earning an average package of INR 8.5 LPA, and the highest package of INR 63 LPA
Students become eligible for placement in the 7th semester. There are a lot good companies that visit kiit like Amazon, VMWare, SAP, Nutanix, Morgan Stanley, BIJU's, Dell, HP, FICO, and Autodesk

- Activities, like the gym different societies and easily accessible
- Faculty is great if you're not a nuisance

- Hostel in time is strict and rigid with very little negotiation
- Locals and a few others pose as hooligans in common areas
- Lack of attention to student well being in hostels
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for campus placements in the third year. Placement training takes place before placements to ensure students are well versed. Companies like jp Morgan and Microsoft also hire from Kalinga institute of industrial technology

- Made a lot of good friends. Seniors here are very friendly so any help required is provided without hesitation. Hostel is a good place to enjoy.
- U make a lot of friends in your classroom also and u get to know a lot of people from different cultures which is very exciting.
- Some faculty members are very friendly which gives you motivation to study hard as their teaching habits are in a interactive manner.
Dislikes
- The food which is served in our hostel is worst .
- Hygiene maintenance is very bad people are getting sick now and then.
- The weather here is very warm and very humid.

Teachers are sometimes partial to specific students and some of them do not teach properly as language barrier is there. The exams are taken on time first the quiz them midsem then the endsem and the on going surprise tests are going on.

- The campus is very good for roaming with friends and enjoying the sunset while sitting in food courts or playgrounds ,Kiit has a playground where you can regularly play football if you want also the location of the college
- The location is perfect as you can get and buy anything near the college which is a very good thing
- If you are lucky enough to get good facilities then it's very good for you as they will make the subject veryyy easy to understand
Dislikes
- Mess food has to be one of the things depends on hostel to hostel in general I would say average at best but sometimes may be below average
- Most of the faculties are not that good ,very boring style of teaching only reading from ppts
- Favouritism towards people from Orissa might be present in some teachers and there's nothing you can do about it

Placement- That depends on your branch. If you are from core branches like mechanical and civil,dont expect too much from KIIT.You will most probably end up working for some IT companies. If you are from other branches then also you will get placed in IT companies. So in short whichever branch you take,you will get placed in IT companies(0.9 probability). CS/IT gets placed the earliest,the reason being obvious.
Faculties(I am going to answer by the common practise of calling teachers faculties)- you are pretty much on your own. If you want to get good CGPA you have to stick to the professor's notes and learn through trial and error the way to answer that will fetch you more marks. Some teachers need long pointless stories to give you marks,some need to the point answers.The mid-semesters exam will give you a very good insight into how to answer. If you want to actually learn something beyond the scope of the syllabus,you are pretty much on your own.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
