- The campus is filled with greenery and there are a lot of places to hangout with your friends.
- The facilities for sports are immense, there are a lot of stadiums offering various sports to play so there are many options.
- The food courts are in plenty and they offer various varieties of food and a good place to chill with your friends.
Dislikes
- The faculty here does not side with the students on University issues and are of little help
- The weather here is not forgiving at all, at peak time it is very hot and humid making it very annoying to go to class in the heat.
- Our campus is very big and the transportation provided is not that adequate as we usually have to walk large distances to go to different campuses
Course Curriculum Overview:
I liked some of the specific courses such as DSA, DSS and OS and these were some of the main courses I wanted to take. Our time table is very hectic and we have to continuously move around going from class to class . With comparison to any other University we have 2 major exams each semester so 4 exams in a year

- The campus life here is pretty good. You get to enjoy so much greenery and so many beautiful spots in campus to visit.
- The infrastructure of the building where the classes are held is pretty good too. They have made the classes and modified it according
Dislikes
- I am pretty sure everyone would say that the mess food isn't good
Placement Experience:
I think from the 7th semester onwards a student is eligible for placements. But if you are a bright child, you may get pre-placement offer or paid internships. Many companies like Amazon, Capgemini, Highradius, Wipro visit KIIT. Recently, Bill Gates had visited KIIT, so I think that maybe this year Microsoft will come to KIIT too. The average package is about 8 lakhs and the highest goes to 54 lacs or something like that. They say 100% placement is done, but i.e. if you count the mass recruiting companies too. After graduation, you can either get a job or pursue higher education like Ph.D or M.Tech according to your wish

At KIIT University, campus placements typically start from the 7th semester onwards. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, and Accenture visit, offering a variety of roles. Highest packages vary by company, averaging around 8-10 LPA, with a high placement percentage. For those not opting for campus placements, career services and alumni networks support employability and career advancement.

KIIT: 1 Answered Question
What is your review of KIIT University?
Kalyan SahuLives in Bhubaneshwar
Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.
