Course Curriculum Overview:

the course and curriculum are highly complexed and beneficial for the future aspects , there are major and minor subjects divided which are helpful for the students . the curriculum is quiet good and old somewhat because teaching methods can be improved , the exams are taken according to the given time and there is no any chance of cheating because the teacher are strict etc.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are quite good. There a re a lot of opportunites as many companies visiti the campus during placements, giving opportunity to students. The highlest package last year was somewhat around 52 lakhs per annum, which is a huge opportunity for any student. The percentage of students getting placed is quite high because of many opportunities given to the students along with placement training which helps them prepare for the campus placement days.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is pretty updated with todays topics. The major subjects are similar to every college here in India. The elective subject are what bring in a differentiating factor every semester. Some of the elective subjects include, MATLAB, AUTOCAD, ANSYS, AI/ML, 3D printing etc. All of these courses are pretty relevant to todays world. In my present course, the subjects are DSS, COA, OS, DBMS, OOPJ, STW, with a vocational elective subject MATLAB. These subjects are vital for knowing the modern computational framework and networking. Despite all the robust subjects, the course fails to provide knowledge on skills that we could monetise on i.e web dev, There are class tests always happening, so that prepares us well for the examinations. The major examinations are held twice every semester with their difficulty level being moderate at best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

• special aspects of the curriculum is that they are well organized and according to the study pattern. • Actually it just provide the basic idea of the real world application, but the work is done by you, all the resources are available just how much you can grab it. • The teaching method is old and need to improved and be little flexible in time. • The exams are too much frequent it's just too quick that we don't need to relax.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like some of the specific courses such as DSA, DMS, and OS. these were some of the main courses I wanted to partake in. Our timetable is very hectic and we have to go around moving from class to class. Comparing this to other universities we have two major exams each semester, so for exams in a year.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute

Pros

  • The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
  • The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
  • The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
  • The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.

Cons

  • KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
  • The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
  • The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
  • The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
  • The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
  • Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.

In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.
