- The food quality of the hostel and the climate of bhubaneswar is not too friendly for those who are not accustomed of hot weather.
Placement Experience:
From sixth semester onwards students become eligible for sitting for placements. Companies like Bain & Company, CME Group, DE Shaw & Co, JP Morgan Chase, MacKinsey, Deloitte, EY, PWC, KPMG, Amazon, Nielsen IQ, Juspay Technologies, Salesforce, Peoplestrong, Factset and many more come for the campus recruitment. The highest package of the last batch was 62 lakh per annum and the average package was around 8 to 10 lakh. The college provides 100 percent placement to the students.

- Very good collage with many opportunities
- The campus life is quite descendent despite the lower in time of hostel
- The placement is also quite good enough in this tough situation

- Ten mess food is sometimes not stable enough to eat
- The class there is way too much croud in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:
I have choosen cse for BTech as I'm pretty much interested in coding and technology related stuffs.
Not sure but the ratio is good enough 1:3
Mostly the faculties are holding PhD degree and also has pretty good teaching experience as well
There are basically 2 exams conducted in 6 months ( 1 sem) one mid sem and another at the end ie end sem exams and both are of medium to hard level exams . One could easily score 9+ cgpa if he/she is dedicated enough throughout the semester

The course curriculum is overall good but i think so that some coorse should not be included as it is not necessary and some of the courses should be modified and updated and some courses should be added which is requi for placement

The current course curriculum is easy and I think there should be no change in the course and exam timing frequency us also good and teachers are very talented here they guide us very perfectly.and I like this college very much.

- Infrastructure and the locations of the classes.
- The classes are very close because of that you don't have to travel much here and there.
- The locality is very good , you get lot of stuff ranging from food to academics to sports.
Dislikes
- The campus life and the infrastructure. The fests they organize are very low budget.
- The campus is not well organized, and the hostel timings are also very bad.
- The hostel in and out timings are very bad, you can't explore the campus at night because the in time is 7:30pm

We have very nice curriculum schedule. You can say it is little bit hard in refrence to our level.There is need of some improvement in our course curriculum.Many student like this curriculum and many dislike it.Still i consider it good.

- Hostel in timing is very less. We have to enter the hostel before 7 pm.

Kiit has approx 3000 students in computer science and engineering. KIIT has a healthy student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1, with 1800 faculty members offering a rigorous curriculum and access to varied learning opportunities and hands-on research. - Their infrastructure are good and their field are big
- The hostel mess food are good compared to other private colleges

- In kiit it is open campus means all the vehicles are crossed the kiit it disturb the student
- In kiit all students dislike the hostel entry time
- Hostel cleaning are not so good and maid are so rude on nature

You can easily get 9 pointer if you study 15 days before exam course is quite easy and getting good marks. Here teacher and professor are good they all are helping nature. In 1st years to last year you under the mentor they should help in all fields like any issues or pressure for academic or fee related issues and any doubt they solved your problem

- campus life is pretty intresting, the campus is no doubt huge and very beautiful
- the faculty here are very cooperative i like so many teachers here they teach very well and some very bad lol
- infrastructure is very nice we have separate buildings for every branch

- long distance, as the campus is very large we have to walk so much makes it tiring
- sometimes the course appears very overriden we are given so less time to complete our course
- the days which are given to study the course before our studies are very limited like if the course is so large atleast give one day holiday before test
Course Curriculum Overview:
in first sem we were made to do various activities in workshop . this was for every branch not just cse. we had ed labs which are also called engineering drawing labs. in first year we had two groups A nd B which mean for 1 sem the subject which were for A group would be the subjects for B group in next sem. i would rate my faculty members a 7 as many of the teachers were pretty nice and many of them didn't knew how to study

- Campus is the best part of this college according to me.
- The faculty provides you many opportunities and the teachers are good.
- Hostel life is good especially in my hostel (KP-2).
Dislikes
- Mess food is not good, and there are many bugs found in hostels recently in rainy season
- Rooms are not as good, on account of how much they ask for money.
- The water is bad because the water purifiers are broken I often give bad water.
Placement Experience:
Placements are average I would say, some companies are the best ones, the rest of them are average, at current time the placements are downgrading but the faculty is saying that it will go up in coming years, the highest package is 6200000 and average is 600000

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
