Why To Join Amity University Noida - Reviews & Rating
Good points- Great atmosphere, personality development, good placement, great course, easy connectivity.Cons- high feesAdmission process starts around June and continues till September. It is one of the best private college in Delhi-NCR because of the points I discussed earlier.
Placement is quite average even after graduation you don't assume to be placed at a higher salary. But there is good no of companies that come to campus it totally depends on you. You want the respective profile or not. Companies- byjus, Manjil group limited and many more. Around 90 offers were made. Student placed - 80. Plans after undergraduate- I will say just look for post-graduation it will enhance your knowledge and will open up the closed doors.
Pros- The main reason was the crowd in B.Tech here which was really great. The peer to peer learning is good and the personality development that this place offers is very good. Around 90% of the students were placed who opted for placements. The college placement department works hard.Cons- The crowd apart from B.Tech and few other courses like B.Pharma is not that great. Amity takes in anyone in B.B.A and Law. The crowd there is not that great to be honest. Another CON according to me was, there is no specific focus on sports as a subject. Everybody here wants marks and placements, I don't know why nobody here talks about competing in sports with other universities.
Availability of course, seats, good laboratories, faculty are knowledgeable and reachable campus, classrooms are big and comfy, has been rated no. 1 by QS, facilities provided like hospital, field, dorms, etc. are great
Students become eligible for placement after their 6th semester. Big companies like Ranbaxy, Wipro etc come for placement purposes but for that, you'll have to score great marks. Most of the students do get placements.
Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. The campus internships begin at 3rd year and campus placement begin from the fourth year. The highest package from my department goes around 6 lakh per annum. The least is 2 lakh per annum. Atleast 25% placements happen per year.
Last year students are eligible for placements only. Top tier firms are available for standings, companies like Future Group, ICICI Bank, and such have made campus placements before. But as the college has been unaffiliated in the year 2018 placement companies have been diminished.
Placements are 100% as I have heard from my seniors, Highest paid is I guess 18 lakhs package and the minimum are somewhere like 6lkhs. After getting a degree I will opt for campus placement and get into a good company.
God aspect 1.Very few colleges in India offer dual degree program in Biotechnology 2. Great exposure to studentsBad aspect1. Too many students in one class leads to problem while performing lab experiments. Each and every student doesn't get a hands on experience.2. Too many unnecessary subjects for engineering students like Economics, Social Science 3. Classes end up late. Too many classes are assigned. Students have to sit from 9 am to 6pm and attend these classeswebsite- www.amity.edu/admission
