MH CET Law 2019 Result, Merit List, Score Card

Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra will announce MH CET Law Results for 3 year and 5-year integrated course on June 2019 and May 13, 2019 at With the announcement of result online, scorecards are also released online. Candidates can get access of through their registered accounts by entering their Registration Number and Roll Number. Candidates who will meet the cutoff will be offered admission into the undergraduate law programs through MH CET Law 2019.

  • After the declaration of the result, DHE Maharashtra will issue a merit list for the law aspirants.

What After MH CET Law Result 2019

Candidates who have got their result of MH CET Law 2019 will be required to attend the counselling of MH CET Law 2019 to be conducted by DHE Maharashtra on April 21 and May 11, 2019 for 5 year integrated and 3 year law course. Candidates will be issued a call letter which will make them eligible to attend the counselling procedure.

How to Check MH CET Law 2019 Result?

Candidates will be notified about their status of law results on the registered Email ID and SMS. A reference link that will redirect you the actual result page will also be mentioned in the message. Steps to check MH CET Law Results 2019 are listed below:

  1. Log on to the official website i.e.
  2. Click on ‘MH CET Law 2019 Result’ link.
  3. Enter ‘MH CET LawRegistration Number and Roll Number’ and Submit

  2. The result will be displayed in the form of scorecards.
  3. Download a copy of the rank card of MH CET Law 2019.

Details in MH CET Law Scorecard

After checking the results, candidates must download their respective MH CET Law Scorecards. The document will carry the following information:

  • Candidate’s Name – It is the name of test taker who appeared for the law exam.
  • Candidate’s category – Category type under with the aspirant has applied for CET Law.
  • Program – Name or code of the program which they will be appearing for.
  • Application Form Number – Registration or online form number allotted to the candidate at the time of enrollment for Maharashtra CET Law exam.
  • Seat Number – admit card will carry this detail. It is the roll number which is assigned to the candidate for appearing in the exam.
  • Score – The total marks scored in MH CET Law exam
  • State Rank – Position secured by the candidate in the state of Maharashtra 
  • All India Rank –  It is the rank secured in the state level law examination. 
1) The scorecard will be valid for one year only.
2) Any doubts about the scores in MH CET Law 2019, apply for verification of results to the competent authority. 

MH CET Law 2019 Merit List

DHE will release MH CET Law Merit List within a week after the results are published online. There will be three merit lists each for 3 year and 5 year LLB degree course according to candidature viz.

  • Maharashtra State Candidature
  • All India Candidature
  • NRI/ PIO/ Foreign Nationals Candidature.
Note: The list will contain candidates name as per their merit and ranks secured in Maharashtra State law exam. All aspirants whose name appears in the list will be eligible to participate in the admission procedure.

MH CET Law  – Previous Years Cut Off

For the convenience of the candidates we have mentioned here the MH CET Law Cut off marks for various categories of the previous year. With this cut off marks, candidates can estimate about how much marks they have to score to be eligible for the counselling. Check the previous year cutoff from given below table.

How to Break Tie in MH CET Law Result 2019?

DHE has defined clear standards of tie-breaking criteria. It will be applicable to resolve ties between MH CET Law 2019 applicants. Listed below are the terms and conditions for the same:

For LLB 3 Year Degree Course

  • Higher percentile in Qualifying Examination (Degree/ Post-Graduation Degree) will be preferred.
  • Higher aggregate of marks in 10+2 (HSC or equivalent examination) will be ranked higher on the merit list.

For LLB 5 Year Integrated Degree Course

  • Higher percentage in the qualifying examination (HSC or equivalent examination) will be ranked higher on the merit list.
  • Higher percentage of marks in First Language at HSC or equivalent examination will be preferred.
  • Higher percentage of marks in SSC or equivalent examination.
  • Higher marks in English at SSC or equivalent level will be preferred.
Note: The tie-breaking criteria for NRI/ PIO and Foreign National applicants are similar but more importance is given to marks secured in English at 10 and 10+2 levels.

MH CET Law Result – Important Points

There are few pointers that one must take note of before and after checking the results. They are as follows:

  • No hard copy of the rank card will be sent via offline mode i.e. through post or any other means.
  • The results can be downloaded through the official link only.
  • Result sheet will declare the scores in each section, overall rank, category-wise rank and AIR rank of the candidate.
  • The results will form the basis of seat allotment process during the counselling procedure.
  • Performance of the test takers is evaluated on the basis of their performance in the law exam.
  • In addition to above, the Cut off for MH CET Law will also be determined.

What After MH CET Law Result?

After the results are declared, qualified candidates have to participate in MH CET Law Counselling. Conducting body will release the official schedule for in the last week of May 2019. The procedure will be carried out through Centralized Admission Process (CAP). 

Aspirants need to register for CAP rounds beginning from June 2019. Students are advised to browse the DHE website regularly to know about all the updates. Steps to be followed are as follows:

  1. Visit the official website to register for CAP.
  2. Check the category-wise seats in various institutes displayed for CAP Rounds I, II and III.
  3. Fill up the application form and choose the preferences of institutes in decreasing order.
Note: Options once selected and confirmed by the competent authority cannot be changed till the 3rd CAP round.
  1. Once done, aspirants will be allotted an institute by CET authority.
  2. Make a choice to either ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ the seat allotted.
  3. Choosing ‘Freeze’ option, a seat in the particular institute will be confirmed and he/ she will not be considered for further rounds.
  4. Choosing the ‘Float’ option, the seat offered will be confirmed but if he gets admission to an institution of higher preference then he will accept it or else continue with the institution previously offered to him.
  5. After confirming the seat, visit the allotted center for document verification and scrutiny of certificates.

Documents Required During Counselling

Candidate’s eligibility and identification will be verified at the allotted center. Hence, there are few documents and certificates that will be required at the time of counselling. Important documents are listed below:

  • SSC (10th or equivalent) Mark sheet + Certificate
  • HSC or equivalent Mark sheet
  • Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree Mark Sheet
  • MH CET Law 2019 Score Card and Hall Ticket.
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Certificate of Indian Nationality
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Caste Certificate
  • PwD Certificate.
  • Ex-Serviceman or Active Defense Service Certificate
  • Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Certificate
  • NRI/ PIO/ Foreign National/ Worker in Gulf Country Certificate
