SNAP 2019 ELIGIBILITY
NATIONAL LEVEL ONLINE TEST
SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2020 is set annually by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for candidates who wish to take SNAP. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and those in their last year of graduation must provide the requisite documents that prove that they fulfill the eligibility criteria before the final admission round. Candidates who have a qualifying degree from a foreign university must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
General category candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks. Reserved category candidates must have obtained at least 45% marks in Bachelors. Candidates appearing in final year examination are also eligible. Programmes that require a specific discipline / subject specialization need to check the eligibility criteria for the institution they are applying to. There is no age limit to apply for SNAP test. Foreign Nationals/ PIO/ OCI/ NRI are also eligible to apply. Candidates who are applying with a foreign degree must attain a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Candidates from general category who have completed their Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for admission. A relaxation of 5% marks is provided to SC/ST candidates. Engineering graduates must have completed their 4-year Bachelors with at least 50% marks.
Note: It is the sole responsibility of the candidate applying for admissions to ensure that they meet SNAP Eligibility required for the course they are applying for. Candidates who have been provisionally admitted can be rejected at latter stages if they don’t fulfil the requisite criteria.

Graduate in any engineering and architecture discipline (B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch) as well as a Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan) from any statutory/recognized university, except in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS) and any related discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST candidates)
Master of Business Administration (Business Analytics)
Candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from any statutory/recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST Candidates). 2 Years full-time work experience after completion of graduation or more is required.
Master of Business Administration (Agri-Business)
Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory university in Agri Sciences or Agri related discipline with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in the qualifying examination.
Master of Business Administration (Energy and Environment)
Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory University with a minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) in Engineering / Geology / Economics / Petroleum / Energy & Environment Science / Bio-Chemistry / Architecture. Other graduates with full-time work experience of more than one year after graduation in the Energy and Environment sector are also eligible to apply.
Master of Business Administration
Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level.

Master of Business Administration (Operations Management)
Candidate should be an Engineering Graduate (BE/ BTech in any stream) from a statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.
Master of Business Administration (Data Sciences & Data Analytics)
Candidate should be a graduate of any faculty with Mathematics at +2 level of any statutory University with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST). Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at qualifying examination.

Candidate should be a graduate from any recognized statuory university or institution with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks of equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes).
Applicants must have studied mathematics / statistics during 12th class.
A candidate who has completed a qualification from any foreign university must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
|SIBM, Pune||MBA (Leadership and Strategy)|
Candidate should have a graduate degree from any recognized university/institution of national importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes) at graduation level and a minimum full time work experience of 4 years (48 months) after graduation as of 31st May, 2020.

The reservation policy for claiming seats in SNAP 2020 is to be followed as per the UGC Guidelines/Regulations. The UGC guidelines are not followed by the Symbiosis Institutes of Management Studies since it follows its own guidelines and rules.

In accordance with the rules and regulation laid down by the government of India, SIU has laid down the provison of reserving 3% of the seats for the Differently Abled Category (DAC) students in all of their institutes.
The types of disabilities covered by SIU are:
Note: Candidates under the DAC will attain provisional admission under their desired category. Consequently, they will have to attain an ‘Authentication Certificate’ from the Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) within one month of commencement of the programme. If all the documents are in order, they will be provided admission.
There is reservation for certain categories within the sanctioned intake as approved by the admission committee of the Symbiosis International University.
|Defense Category (General)||80% of the seats are reserved for dependent children or wards of Defence personnel, based on their merit|
|Defense Category (Special)||10% of seats are reserved for candidates dependent on the Defence personnel who were killed during war, having more than half disability or impairment. This reservation will be also based on merit only|
|Open Category||Candidates who come under the civilian category and are recommended by the Industry are entitled to 10% seats, but that too is totally on the basis of merit|
Automated admission is granted to Officers of Armed Forces presently serving study leave as approved by their respective Services Head Quarters.
