Course Curriculum Overview

4

I wanted to pursue the civil services examinations and that's why I need to find a better foundation for my exam examination, and that's why I chose the political science department, and they literally provided the best ever course that I could have ever come across because that included the idea that how should I approach to the political science in terms of whether that is theory or practical or whether that is related to any research paper

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities were very limited for us because we come from a very non-technical subject as I have perceived the political science department, but also what happened was that my teacher was very keen on us that we should pursue internships and they provided us on the ideas that whether we can mention theCSDS Centre for the study of developing societies, Lok Niti for approach into their research ideas

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees I have paid annually was 13,500 and for the examination fees, they ask you to pay nearly ?500 per paper, but that is gone to the university that is not related to the college and not many else expenses are there unless you opt for anything additional. During the time of admission, I have paid the registration fees nearly 2500 and no more extra tuition fee rather than the admission fee of 13,500 mentioned.

Campus Life

4

In campus life, it is a heaven in India. Basically focusing on the annual festivals we have been celebrating the Diwali, the Holi and the annual festival of the college is kind of 2nd to none. They provide the best ever personalities who come and perform in the annual festivals, whoever professional in the singing or dancing, In India, including shreya, Ghoshal, Darshan Raval and many well-known artists have been performing over here so campus life is very good. in the classroom, it is very good benches, deskes and by the time being, they have been also in using, the digital study ideas and the LED boards to teach so it is very modern. The facilities in the sports section is also good as annual sports Festival used to be done in the university and students from various colleges come and participate in that so overall experience is very good

Admission

I have applied for many colleges in the South campus of Delhi University, including Shahid Bhagat Singh College, Deshbandhu College, Venkateswara College and many, however, many colleges which are in the north campus. They provide a sense of emotional trust in the students that they Are far better than the South campus colleges and hence students are More kin to go there so I also chose for the Hindu College in the north campus. I did not get rejection from any college during my application procedure and I have been offered economics, history and English from various colleges of the North campus and South campus. The admission procedure is very smooth as that is online and you don't have to run here and there to get your office works done. The E Samarth portal of Delhi University gives a comprehensive idea on how to go for it and also if you want to change the college or if you want to get your refund done, if you have changed the college then also it is very smooth.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is optimal. We had three teachers per subject in the class and two sections where there and teachers have been divided like that so there should not be a faculty to student ratio. However, sometimes faculties may be unable to reach and are not very closely approachable but can be worked, Mr. Rahul Chimur Kar and Joyita Ahmed. These two teachers are very cooperative in the political science department, and they also provide good assistance in terms of professional and personal life, so they can be the good faculties. Every student can have like also, there are many students who might be very non-serious in their academic terms and that might be avoidable exams are good as they are conducted by the university and you don't have to be very worry about it as exams can be qualified even before studying seven days before the exam and not throughout the semester and also whoever students want to access the library. They provide a very beautiful experience and probably this is the best library in the South campus. The curriculum that has been taught is totally aligned with the masters transitional syllabus, which also helps to qualify the CUET examinations for your higher education and totally worth it.

Night Life

5

yes, there is a gym in the college cafeteria is there in the college and public area is also very comprehensive because many colleges are around only and in North campus. You get to get that feel that okay many students are there and you get to talk about many things, whether that is related to curriculum or student life, or future aspects in the north campus. There is a Chai wala in the campus, which is very famous for its tea, not just for tea, but because of the gathering, so many people come there and also many people I've got their relationships from that tea shop so it is very famous near the University. There are many places to roam around and to have good experiences, north campus and the Vishwa Vidyalaya part is very good. However, if someone wants to have a good hangout, then they might come to CP.

Other Applied Colleges

Ravenshaw University - [RU] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (English)

Ravenshaw University is not as much popular as you all over India, but in Odisha, you may think about it, causing Odisha. It's a semi government University, which has a good reputation in the state and has also produced a lot of big man who have concurred

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
