- Campus the campus of Indraprastha College for Women is the most beautiful in whole DU.
- Liberty since it is an all girls college you get to express yourself and be yourself.
- Faculty,the faculty here are amazing they have great knowledge.
Dislikes
- There were no trips or field visits happening for our course atleast, which should have been there
- Attendance issue, they really want that 75 percent of attendance in their class
- The administration employees are so slow, they keep on delaying the work
Course Curriculum Overview
The course covers the knowledge of 2 subjects in case of BA program for me that was Economics and Maths. Other than these you get to choose other subjects as well in completely different domain to expand your knowledge which I think hons students don't get to.
Internships Opportunities
There are multiple and multiple internships opportunities for students. Like the placement cell works really hard to get more and more opportunities for students of each and every course. Plus the college also runs their own projects which helps you to dig in social welfare aspects of life.
Placement Experience
There are placements but mainly for hons students like economics honours and bcom hons or computer science Hons or BMMMC students. BA program students also gets the chance but they have to kinda work more hard for getting selected and yes there are various choices available after the course as well . I myself got job in 1 month after my graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
Indraprastha college for Women has the highest fees in DU like for my course that is BA program in Economics and Maths it was around 24000 for first year and then 19000 for 2nd and 3rd year respectively. Yes college provides scholarship on the basis of merit or if single girl child
Campus Life
The name of the Annual fest is Shruti. And it's tooo good. IPCW is the only college in DU which has a swimming pool, gymnasium, climbing wall and many other facilities helping to develop in each and every way possible holistically
Admission
Yes since my best four percentage was 95 percentage and I wanted a morning and North campus college, so I was shortlisted for SGTB Khalsa College and IPCW in North campus. But I choosed IPCW first because of other people's reviews, that they have better faculty and better campus
Faculty
The faculty is amazing and most of them are chill. They will keep the internals date after discussing with students. And always takes a second test as well so that those who couldn't score well, they may get perform well in next. Internals are not made that hard. If you have attended their classes and prepared well you are good to go.
Night Life
Since this college is in civil lines and not in proper north campus. So there's not much night life, civil lines is a posh area. For night life you have to come to North campus /Kamla Nagar/GTB Nagar.
