The gender ratio is average in our college but for my course it is very less and same goes for mechanical engineering because very less girls take these streams. There are only 2 girls in my class. Tgere is no issue of ragging or that sort. They have a special anti ragging squad. All the students are treated equally. There is no politics going around in our college.
The schedule at chandigarh university is very hectic they take three sessional exams and one semester exam every semester add to that they take 3 lab practicals of each practical subject per semester. You will have 3 or 4 practicals every week and you have to submit the practical file every next week otherwise they will give you zero assessment.

Dhruva is our Cultural Fest, Even many events we arrange like freshers parties, traditional days on festivals like ganpati chaturthi, Garbha on navratri. They are really good with avg footfall of 1000. Organization is done by students mostly so we learn from it our teachers guide us.
Most of the students got placed, though the college is new, placements are good, 60% i guess, Companies like Accenture, Infosys, Barclays,Tata. Avg package must be around 4 lacks.
The college follows co-education system..there is no gender difference made in college in any aspect equal oppurtunities is given to each and every student..and our college gives priority for not only studies it encourages in students allround developement like conducting sports meet..cultural and extra curiricular events.. labs in our college are highly equipped.
There are 8 semisters for 4 yrs of engineering course..each semister consists of 2 internal examination of theory subjects..and 1 internal exam of practical subject..at last of semister there will be external exam for both practical and therory..this schedule is quite easy..not at all hectic..u will enjoy because each sem completes so fast without ur knowledge.
I am doing the last year of college, so I don't have much placement experience. But as I have seen and heard, the placement cell is very good. I don't remember the companies visited on my campus.
They provided an internship but I was doing something else along with my college, so I was not able to pursue it. But it was great to have an internship of like 10000 per month for freshers.

Overall experience was just fine. I expected a muvh better one though. Really hope the highly talented and qualified teachers be a little more active. Shifting from private school to a government college makes it difficult to feel comfortable. But got used to it with time. Even though the infrastructure wasn't quite fancy, the teachers and their teachings were. Found a good group of friends which stuff a lot easier. Not many fests and events were organized in our college, but the few that were there were a lot of fun. Now that it's over, I shall miss it, but not as much as my school.
Faculty was highly qualified. Almost all professors were topers of their respective shools/colleges. All of them had done their Phds. They very interactive and helped us a lot. But their standards of teachings sort of faded from year to year. The non teaching staff were the real hero's though. They helped us a lot, in every way possible. Treated us like we were their own kids.

This is a very course for whom who're interested in law and want to make future in field of law. This course much focus on practical learning. In law schools they have internship vacations for interning in any court, law firm, ngo etc by that you can gain more practical knowledge which is more important in this field, even BCI has the rule of necessary 20 weeks internship for BCI approved universities.
Getting placement in hnlu is very tough. We don't have good companies in our recruitment list and top companies which come for the placements only place 1-2 students. We have Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas - TSG, Khaitan& Partners, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas etc. C.G. Goverment is recruiting highest number of students, every year they are placing 20-30 students of hnlu. About package can't say.

Exam structure is chilled out and relaxing. There is lot of gaps in between the exams. Don't take that lightly. Toppers will be able to answer that more accurately. Scoring marks is easy just do the last 5 years papers thoroughly guaranteed you will pass. Even if you don't know the answer just write something but don't leave it blank.
Gender ratio was pretty good almost equal. Sindhi students are in majority as it is a Sindhi college. No sports ground is available. Khar gymkhana is the nearest ground. Indoor sports are few like T.T, carrom and is usually packed with students. Labs are fine not over the top but sufficient for our use.

The faculty team in our college is superfluous as the teachers are very knowledgeable and cooperative. They not only deal with books but also teach students the practical application of concepts. Though the tutorial classes are rarely held in our college, proper attention is given to students as there is one teacher against 30 students (approximately). The course curriculum is decided by the Delhi University which is strictly followed by our lecturers. Our college has received the Star college award for the best faculty members in the science stream but other courses are no less in faculty members' comparison.
The fees is INR 5800( approximately) which doesn't include the examination fees. The college is state funded and there is an exam to get scholarship offers. Loans are not needed since the fees is very economical as compared to other institutions.
The course is filled with practical and technical learning. every lab is a new experience every topic is a fresh start so when you know nothing you feel learning better. and that makes my course the best. Practical learning is given importance under all the circumstances. But we a lot practically in the labs as they are much lively and these are related to the real-life examples so its a good place to learn. The R&D is lead by Mr. Elangovan he is awarded the young scientist award of India. he is supported by the faculty and the students. the students and teachers are very interested in taking up initiatives they are very interested in taking up new projects and helping the students to understand the real-life industrial and social requirements. so this is the first steps towards the success of R&D and this will soon be more projects and the college will be recognized in the coming days.
The teachers are damn interactive. They are connected to us via most of the social platforms. and they just don't teach us about the educational things they even the reality they identify our mistakes and make us better human beings. Their standard of teaching is good. they try to relate topics with all the reality concepts. their way of teaching is just amazing. they try to make us understand clearly with the concepts. and they are with us whenever we have a doubt they are always there to help us. The teachers are experienced in their subjects as they have been handling it for quite a few years. A handful of the teachers are Ph.D. holders. so they are very useful in terms of knowledge and projects they are good guides.

Each of the faculties of my college were either had a doctorate degree or they were pursuing. Urvashi Sabu ,she is the best lecturer I have got the privileged to learn from. She taught me not only the subject but the primary and imperative substituents of life and human behavior. And I would like to say that Renu Kapoor , the HOD during my session was the most simple and sophisticated teacher. Who taught me so many things including punctuality the most .. as she used to take our morning classes of 8:00AM and always came on time.
I got my admission through merit. I took BA English honors as my subject for graduation as I always had a keen interest in literature and wanted to explore the art stream . I love to read and didn't think of any other subject better than English hons which could give my hobby an advantage.

CET-K In the term of finding colleges, I was initially confused with selecting the college because there were lot of colleges providing with the best educational system. One of my friend suggested me Cambridge institute of technology. It was my fist visit to the college and the same day i decided not to turn back with my decision. A small campus with countable number of students made me feel breathe comfortable and the infrastructure had its own way of attracting people. There was a counselling held.where they verify our documents and lately give us the admission ticket. which is to be submitted in the college for the admission into the college. Passion and the economic importance of a machine in the society.
Should improve with the facilities like practical workshops, proper labs, exposure. The foundation for this future is our college "Cambridge institute of technology " I am proud to study in such an educational province. The college has supported me in every aspects as off sports, co-curricular and what not.It has a small and a handful of countable students which makes me feel comfortable within the croud.

I got into this college by KEA's CET.. no interview was there for student coming through this entrance exam.. i choose this course because it provides a safe and secured future. There was a counselling held were the documentation process is verified and later and admission ticket is issued. This ticket is taken to the particulate college and the admission into the college is done.
Yes. I do play for my college hockey team , and we have won lot a times. Yes, college do give us support and encourage us to participate and every co curricular activities. Sports is my field of interest and I have been involved in dis field from past 8 years. And it also helped me as a refresher for my studies.

There is an interaction between students and alumni and it is very interesting interaction. There is a condition that each and every student must complete a technical course or any foreign language compulsorily which is helpful in building the career and should become a member of a professional body. our college is connected with task which gives free online courses so that each and everyone can participate and learn.
Everything is good in my college and myself feeling very lucky to join this college and wishing to get a bright future by utilizing the accommodation's which are provided by my college. This is the place where we enjoy learning whereas the faculty enjoys teaching giving motivations which are very helpful to build a strong career for the students.

When I talk about the good stuff wherein the fest come into existence. Fest comprised of Technical games (code geek),cultural days(traditional,Tie day,Gang day), n many managerial programs. They were best fit for campus .The organization was quite impressive as each year they came up with smthng new. No they didn't contributed for the fest programs.
For getting an admission into an engineering clg every 1 needs to give MH CET. On the basis of my CET score I got an admission into M.H.Saboo.Siddik.coe .There was nothing as interview for admission process . I was interested in the networking part so I took admission in EXTC branch n I am quite happy by my decision.
After 3 years a technical and management fest were organized by the college. We can say it was a big enough because approximately 25 colleges took part in that and the event budget 50% were provided by the college and the rest was given by the sponsor. The students were doing all the work and the lectures were not helping them on that they were even scolding them that you should focus on the studies not on these things it's a waste of time. They were not giving the attendance also for those were working hard for the fest.
There is no placement scenario in the college. Bacially the problem lies in the infrastructure, the rating of the faculties, the facilities provided by the college and so on but I feel really bad to say that this doesn't have even the minimum required facilities availability for the students. Then, how can we expect companies like wipro, infosis will even look towards this college.

Being the biggest campus, it is very rich in diversity in all fields. Good campus feel. good and big sports grounds. Campus has separate cricket, football, volleyball, basketball grounds etc. Many conference rooms. Big audience hall for indoor functions. Beautiful campus buildings. Big gardens. These are major attraction of campus. Students are from different region, not only india but different part of world as well
Fee structure is a bit expensive. Hostel being 50000-80000 per semester depending on sharing basis. Course fee for btech is approx 1 lac per semester. Different courses have different fee structures. I have knowledge of btech only. For re appears there is also fee. Fee for short attendance. Though college is strict for short attendance and do not allow to sit in exams for short attendance

Computer science engineering course was very well designed to teach students as per industry requirements. I have presented research paper in International conferences. The faculty here encourage us to present research papers. In first two semesters we are taught general subjects of all branches and English language skill development subjects. From second year onwards branch specific subjects are taught with a well designed course.
Since it's a state govt unitary university, the tuition fee is reasonable. It is around 10k per year. But there are several seats as self financed where students have to pay around 40k. Other than tuition fee there are other miscellaneous fee as exam fee, festival fee, so all in all for general seats around 20k is paid per semester. Hostel fee including food is around 7k per semester.

Good, they motivated us much and trained is in many ways. It was a good experience working with such well-experienced faculties. The standard of teaching was good but no up to the level
We didn't attend any internship since we were busy with our project. We could only do internships at last year but we had projects to finish so we couldn't do it.

Mechanical is known for its knowledge. And I feel I have chosen the best branch. practical learning is not that great here. all they want is marks in the end not the knowledge we gain.. yeah research are at its peak.. our research and development Dean has received the young scientist award. From the central government. and the students are also creative to think out of box so the research initiative are good. Electives are decided by the college department as we students don't have a choice.. but when we feel something else is good the department is good to understand the needs is student and they see the best way through
I had taken up the exam COMED-K. you can also get into this college through CET or management quota. As I got this rank I and to choose among a few colleges but as this was comfortable for me to travel and found college improving every year... There would be a normal meeting with the HR team as they will give all the info about the college , faculty etc. I always wanted to be a mechanical engineer and heard that this is an evergreen branch so as usual took advice from relatives neighbor and not to forget GOOGLE so then decided to go with mechanical as I had thought earlier.
Well don't know the figures but I guess it's 1:1. There are elections every year, the most exciting part about PU. I never experienced any kind of inequality but everything there is not the same for both the sides. For example girls are bound to get inside the hostel before 12 pm in any case otherwise they will be fined but this rule is not for the boys. They can come and go out at any time. This thing restricts the girl section in many ways eg. They can't go to library at night. Coming to economic status... It is not even stable for India so how it would be for PU.
PU holds its own entrance called OCET (notifications releases in may I guess). I was able to qualify it. But my rank was a little low so I waited for councellings. Finally I got admission here in the fourth councelling. There they asked me for my qualifications and related certificates. Everything there is in an organized manner, you may get confused but they will help you with the problem
