There were lot of events celebrated in college. Students of Amity University rack their brains during Sports Quiz, held as part of Sangathan 2016 as a part of Sangathan – 2016-month long, mega Inter- Institutional Sports Meet, a Sports Quiz was organized for the students of all Amity Institutions of Noida Campus Both online and on-spot registrations were held. Total 110 teams participated from various Institutes of Noida campus. The Round-I was written round which comprised of 20 questions based on different sports and this was elimination round. Based on score of round – I, top 6 teams were selected for the final round. There was very tough competition amongst the teams as maximum and minimum scores were 28and 25 out of 40 respectively of the best 6 teams, Amity youth Fest 2015 the Objective of Amity Youth Festival is to create an unparalleled forum for the students to test their intellectual and artistic prowess, opening a venue for sharing mutual experience, skills and talents in the field of culture, literary and other activities on a common platform.

Through OJEE notifications were released on the college websites sometimes our college website is well managed. But the notifications should also be well advertised which it is not. Our college's rule of registration on 1st January never gets through me. I don't know why they do that. I think just to collect the late fines from students.

Course structure is well the syllabus is thorough and well organised so that the students does get to know about everything they need in the future. But some semesters like the 5th semester is so roughed up meaning so heavily loaded that going through all subjects is very very difficult.

After I got my result and rank I have gone through the counselling process they checked my all certificates. And then finally send me for which college I have chosen to study i got to know visit so literally I was so happy about that then on which date we are provided we came here for admission and then after some day I joined the hostel.

There are a lot of clubs here to join around 20 clubs are here. I have joined the robotics which is good and also related to my Branch subject but there are dance, song, poem, byk ride, games like badminton, cricket, volly, basketball everything is there so any one can enjoy here without any hesitation.

I got the direct admission in this institute applied for the college directly from the home by the university website and after that i just bayed the brochure of the college online as there was a link to buy it for about 500 rupees and after that submitted the semester fees in the college filled the form and give the photo copies of 10 and 12 class marksheets and also the migration thats all.

Yes the college provide internship. As the college has joined hands with many of the foreign universities it provides a semester abroad program or the month abroad program in which the student can go to foreign country for this but this all is paid by student not by the college. So its somewhat costly recruiting companies are many which recruit here.

I think we were the first batch of the GEU and 18 were placed in the samsung . Overall 673 were placed in 2012 year out of 1000 students in various companies .

There are 5 exam in a semester for reach subject. These exam are Cycle Test1, Cycle Test2, Surprise Test, Model Exam. All these exam are internal exam but conducted seriously and are very important for your CGPA. The semester exam is external exam and it carries the rest 50 marks.It is very hectic schedule for the entire semester.

Exam were very strict even Internal and External oral as well along with written exam. There was no any scope to cheat and score. Students have to study hard and achieve the marks in order to get success. I was very happy with the way it was which results in producing quality engineers from my college and they are serving an making difference all over world because of College discipline.

After getting the JEE rank, I got admission into VNIT, Nagpur initially. After that I went to NIT Rourkela (which was the reporting centre for document verification in Odisha, my state) and got my documents verified. And after that I put my preference on float, which means I'll automatically get admission into an institute which was given more preference by me if the seats go vacant in the subsequent rounds.

The type of faculty of this college is like most other colleges. Some professors are great, some good, some not so much. There are a few who have been teaching here for many years and you can see the frustration on their faces. They are quite irritable and are not that friendly with students. They are very miser when it comes to giving marks. But there are a few who are really interested in what they teach.

Alumni network depends on the course actually. For example, the alumni of Journalism department are working well in industry but they are spread widely as in some are in print, some in broadcast, some in PR and Ad etc. They are only helpful if you are interested in their respective fields.

It being under Delhi and partly Central Government,the fee is very very nominal for the facilities we get example we had 10,000/- per year for the course and for other courses it was much less than this. There are scholarships for students who are economically weak that really helps.

The topics of first is generic and the staff are very much up to mark. From the second year it's more towards the branch we have opted and staff is also so good in the topics they are taking. In case they are unable to provide satisfactory answers they always refer to others mainly senior staff or HOD and always ensured that we are clear on our doubts.

Every branch in our college conducts their own big events.we conducted events when we were in third year and final year. Thus includes participation from almost all important colleges and across the branches. The course structure is as per the rules set by the university. Our college is under Maulana Azad Abul Kalam University of Technology. So our college has to follow the syllabus set by the university. The course structure is very organised. I do not have any electives as I am in second year right now.

No the labs and exams are very organised. Sometimes they are hectic as labs are of long duration. Nothing can be done as the labs require a lot of time and cannot be completed very swiftly. Exams are not very frequent and at intervals. Two internals are held and one semester exam every six months.

After securing a rank in JEE Advanced examination, I sat in the Joint Seat Allocation counselling (JoSAA) which is an online counselling procedure, combined for IITs, NITs, IIITs and other Government Funded Institutions. In the 5th round of the counselling, I was offered Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology ( Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad (IIT(ISM)).

In our college gender ration differ from branch to branch like in computer science department male female ratio is 60:40 but in mechanical it is about 98:2 but however in electrical engineering and arts department male female ratio is about 55:45.Most of extra curricular activities are participated by girls.

In one session we have two semi star and one semi star of five month. In which one mid term which occur mid of session and one end term which occur end of session. We have also three internal out of which best two are count. Mid term is 50 marks .end term is 70 marks and internal is 30 marks.

Around 75% students get placed. TCS 3.5 lpa, Mirraw 6 lpa, Jio, Capegemini, Just dial 4.5 lpa , L&T, Infosys, Hp, Hitachi, Vistaar And many more though i do not know the figure of packages they are between 2 lpa to 6 lpa And maximumu students get placed based in their results.

For second year it is Rs.1,00,798 including exam charges and everything. Journals we are suppose to buy from college stationary college fees do not include this. For first year it is around 97000 for third yr also it is around 1,01,000 and for last year around 1 lakh .

There is a telecom seminar that happens every year and is sponsored by leading companies in the telecom industry. There is also media coverage of this event. Before placements, companies are invited by the students as part of the pre placement events. there are also alumni meets arranged every year in all major cities. Apart from this there are several smaller events round the year.

In 2010 after passing out senior school, I applied for this college via online Punjab Technical University website where they had seats for AIEEE entrance exam students also. The admission procedure was very simple. I had opted the course and then got selected and then went to college for document and fee submission. Every staff member is so supportive there.

Placement and Job opportunities is good here as TPC members with Student Coordinators try hard for Campus Placements. The highest figure was 10 Lakh offered and the lowest was 3.5 Lakh offered in my era. A good number of students were placed. Currently Amazon had selected few students in campus placement last year.
