Exam were very strict even Internal and External oral as well along with written exam. There was no any scope to cheat and score. Students have to study hard and achieve the marks in order to get success. I was very happy with the way it was which results in producing quality engineers from my college and they are serving an making difference all over world because of College discipline.

After getting the JEE rank, I got admission into VNIT, Nagpur initially. After that I went to NIT Rourkela (which was the reporting centre for document verification in Odisha, my state) and got my documents verified. And after that I put my preference on float, which means I'll automatically get admission into an institute which was given more preference by me if the seats go vacant in the subsequent rounds.

The type of faculty of this college is like most other colleges. Some professors are great, some good, some not so much. There are a few who have been teaching here for many years and you can see the frustration on their faces. They are quite irritable and are not that friendly with students. They are very miser when it comes to giving marks. But there are a few who are really interested in what they teach.

Alumni network depends on the course actually. For example, the alumni of Journalism department are working well in industry but they are spread widely as in some are in print, some in broadcast, some in PR and Ad etc. They are only helpful if you are interested in their respective fields.

The topics of first is generic and the staff are very much up to mark. From the second year it's more towards the branch we have opted and staff is also so good in the topics they are taking. In case they are unable to provide satisfactory answers they always refer to others mainly senior staff or HOD and always ensured that we are clear on our doubts.

Every branch in our college conducts their own big events.we conducted events when we were in third year and final year. Thus includes participation from almost all important colleges and across the branches. They are also fun activities like dance music for enjoyment and technical competition for IT , electronics and mechanical branches.

The course structure is as per the rules set by the university. Our college is under Maulana Azad Abul Kalam University of Technology. So our college has to follow the syllabus set by the university. The course structure is very organised. I do not have any electives as I am in second year right now.

No the labs and exams are very organised. Sometimes they are hectic as labs are of long duration. Nothing can be done as the labs require a lot of time and cannot be completed very swiftly. Exams are not very frequent and at intervals. Two internals are held and one semester exam every six months.

After securing a rank in JEE Advanced examination, I sat in the Joint Seat Allocation counselling (JoSAA) which is an online counselling procedure, combined for IITs, NITs, IIITs and other Government Funded Institutions. In the 5th round of the counselling, I was offered Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology ( Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad (IIT(ISM)).

In our college gender ration differ from branch to branch like in computer science department male female ratio is 60:40 but in mechanical it is about 98:2 but however in electrical engineering and arts department male female ratio is about 55:45.Most of extra curricular activities are participated by girls.

In one session we have two semi star and one semi star of five month. In which one mid term which occur mid of session and one end term which occur end of session. We have also three internal out of which best two are count. Mid term is 50 marks .end term is 70 marks and internal is 30 marks.

Around 75% students get placed. TCS 3.5 lpa, Mirraw 6 lpa, Jio, Capegemini, Just dial 4.5 lpa , L&T, Infosys, Hp, Hitachi, Vistaar And many more though i do not know the figure of packages they are between 2 lpa to 6 lpa And maximumu students get placed based in their results.

For second year it is Rs.1,00,798 including exam charges and everything. Journals we are suppose to buy from college stationary college fees do not include this. For first year it is around 97000 for third yr also it is around 1,01,000 and for last year around 1 lakh .

The admission procedure was very simple. I had opted the course and then got selected and then went to college for document and fee submission. Every staff member is so supportive there.

Placement and Job opportunities is good here as TPC members with Student Coordinators try hard for Campus Placements. The highest figure was 10 Lakh offered and the lowest was 3.5 Lakh offered in my era. A good number of students were placed. Currently Amazon had selected few students in campus placement last year.

The campus environment at G L Bajaj is quiet healthy enough as their are a lot of things to do like academics, labs, projects, events etc. The gender ratio is not so bad either except in core engineering departments. The extra curricular activities include technical debates, seminars, labs, events, cultural events etc. They are good and learning based and get participation from both college and outside students.

Yes, the college provide summer internship to the students certified with various companies. The companies providing internship in our college are TCS, i3 India. All branches except civil can do internship from the college itself. The stipend for training is 3000 to 5000. All fees is refunded if attendance in training classes is good. Also,aptitude and personality development training classes are kept in this.

No they do not provide placement at all, we need to search it on our own after we got selected at that time they will ask our offer letter. So that they can submit it to their file ,they not even help for placement ,they will get the fees ,they doesn't care about the future of the students ,so after that we need to try on our own.

I have not done any exams for entry to this college. Just i gave my application for joining, after that they conducted college entrance exam ,after that they said wait for the admission after one month i got a call that i have been selected ,thats it.

Placement was good as all of us received atleast 2 chances of getting placed. But quality of placements were not that good as most of the students got jobs in extremely under ratted companies were they could not survive for even few months. Most of them got placed between 2.5-3.5 lakhs.

GLAET, i don't remember the exact score, but i scored about 300. I opted this college because of scholarship. GLA was a reputed institute in our area and had a huge campus. Its mechanical engg was one of the best in all UPTU colleges.

As it is a government college there are lots of scholarships and loan facilities available in our college. One of the most important scholarship is the BC scholarship. Which is given to the students of open gallery category the other backward classes also get scholarship from the government. Which helps them Industries Private sector scholarship are also allowed in our college and all the students are happy.

As it is a bachelor of Technology College the paper size 8 in the college so the exam structure is very nice in our college first of all there ISE first and after that there is mid semester which is quite tough after mid semester there is the second ISE. After this comes the end semester which is the end of our exam structure and it is for 50 marks out of which 20% of the students are passed outs.

Exams are very well conducted in this college. No copying etc and strict as hell. All the norms provided by VTU were followed when i took up my exams. Its a regular routine which is almost same in every single college and which is no different in ACSCE. Its definitely not hectic as it all depends on how you take it. Lab exams are peaceful and soon after those you get your written semester exams.

There are lot of events that happen ACSCE. Culturals/Fest , sports day and college day are the three major events that take pace in an academic year. Fest and sports day are real fun and you find the maximum crowd you can ever find in the college. There are other events like hack trics and few other events that took place or rather the college hosted and it was an inter college event.

In end of the batch some companies are came. In my 2012 batch totally 450 students are placed at various companies. Particularly, 101 students are place in TCS average of 3.25 lakh per annum. Wipro recruits 49 students average of 3 lakh per annum. Tech Mahindra recruit 25 students average of 2.8 lakh per annum. And some Non it companies recruit some students.

I applied anna university general counselling. They verified my form details and call for me to attend counselling. I went to chennai and attended the counselling. Nearly 800 students are attended in the category of 165 cut off marks. Finally i choose Information Technology branch in Muthayammal Engineering College.

Fees are different for different year students and NRI students. Variation of fees is generally one lakh to one lakh twenty five thousand and for NRI student this is from three to four lakh. Fees are generally define by the university and some extra fees are taken by college for decoration of all that.

For core branch student placement chance from college is very less. And for other companies like wipro, tech mahindra, infosys etc come for student selection from college. For selection they define some eligible criteria like percentage in b.tech must be more than 60 or 65.
