The course structure is 3.5/5. It needs some changes in its curriculum, like the contents of a course, so that they're helpful in matching the current requirements. A few courses have syllabus, that doesn't match the current needs or is of a less use. So, such parts should be replaced with required, and this is being implemented slowly as I've seen there are changes from what our seniors had in their course.

It was very simple. Got my entrance test result, and then applied for colleges online. Then submitted my documents at a government scheduled place. Finally, after results reported in the college, paid the fee. The date of joining was given and we had an induction program and orientation at the start of our graduation in which we were exposed to every part of the college.

Good decent companies come for placements. At my time the prominent companies which showed up were. Avg. CTC is 4 lakhs per annum. Salaries vary from 2.5 lakhs to 11 lakhs depending on the company infosys, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Nomura and many other regular multi national software companies. Very rarely you will see core companies coming in for placements.

It is an amazing college to spend 4 years of engineering. Make good friends, be part of various societies, hang around in the vast campus, attend college fests all around the year. Education wise it is like any other engineering college in Mumbai University. Professors are good but there is not much emphasis on research or internships.

Exam structure is really tough. It's an autonomous institution, so they have their own steadfast rule. Usually every semester, two class tests are being conducted. class test is conducted for 15 marks. 60 marks end semester exam. And remaining 10 marks is of TEACHERS ASSESMENT, which is awarded on basis of your timely assignment submissions and participation in class.

Gender ratio is not that good. Because usually it is seen that, girls doesn't go for mechanical and civil branch. Whereas in branch like CS and IT you might see female domination. Diversity is definitely their. Due to government of INDIA's rules and regulations you can see the people from North East region and people from central India.

I was admitted into this college through Government Counselling. Based on my EAMCET rank and Intermediate marks percentage i attended the admission processes. There we need to opt the colleges and Branches and based on your qualification you will be given a branch in particular college.This process include document verification and online option selection.

Gender bias will be at its minimal here. There wont be any discrimination on the basis of Gender or region or language. Ragging will be a part of interaction with freshers to introduce them to the college. We will be having workshops once or twice in a year. But internally we will be planning debates and other student activities.

Our college does have a placement cell which takes care of the companies that come to select students. Highly reputed companies like Decathalon, Trident etc and banks like HDFC and ICICI banks do visit every year and select students for UG and PG courses depending upon the capabilities of the fresh talent.

Our campus is not much spacious as it has been recently formed. But, the development it has done in such small time is commendable. Very rare institutions can do well in such period. Sports activities are actively done like cricket, badminton etc. certain funds are created for sports.

The campus is big considering other colleges and the students male female is about 2:1. Students come from different states and different religion and all are well getting together, and as observed there is no political activities in the college. There is no ragging or any other illegal activities in the college or racism expressed by the staffs or the workers in the college.

Exams are at the end of every semester, and there are internals conducted by the college 3 times in a semester. The internals marks are also considered in final marks card. They take the average of the best of two in the three internals we write. The examination has enough days gaps for students to study.

Our college's main aim is to place each student to the good companies according to their strength . So, our college is tied up with many companies like HCL, Accenture , TCS , Wipro, etc. more than fifty sixty companies. Placement of the college is around 80% and for CSE branch it is about 90%. And if you know somewhat about your subjects then you will definitely got a job.My all friends got the job and the the many people I know or in my mind got the job. Companies came to campus are-TCS, Igate, Prolifics, VIRTUS, AInfogain, Polaris, Aks software Infostreach And many more.

Exam structure is as per MDU where we have internal exams, project work, class tests and then sessional exams. apart from that we have two semesters every year of which the exams are conducted at the end of the semester. Usually MDU exams are carried forward from last year so if we do the previous year question papers we are able to attempt the questions.

Our main Festival is TATVA, it is held every year in the month of February, and sees a footfall of more than 3 lakh students. The flagship event of TATVA is ATIVIZVA. TATVA is the Management and Cultural Fest of our institute. other than TATVA, we also have Academic week, where students can apply their classroom learning to practical use, the non-academic week, where in all the students showcase their extra curricular talent.

The gender Ratio in our Institute is 3:1. and we have students from diverse backgrounds and from almost all states in India. For extracurricular activities we have various clubs and societies where students can hone their talent. We have two computer labs with all modern amenities. We also have a gym for health conscious students and faculties. we also have a basketball court and a table-tennis table.

Most of the faculty were very qualified no doubt and competent to teach their respective course, however the delivery methods could have been better so students are more attentive and follow up with questions after class. The exam pattern was similar for all professors, it would have been nice to have take home exams with tough exploratory questions or online tests following strict time measures for each question.

The gender rartio was dominated by a male population. There was diversity in terms of states but the state quota pushed that to be in favour of Odisha. The labs were state of the art but could have been more well staffed. I felt we could have learned more if there were instructors or curators who would actually be able to tell us some working knowledge on the apparatus.

Cource curriculum is very good as it has all the subject in year 1 and specialisation subject in year 2. You can opt for your specialisation im year 2 like : finance, marketing, HR, operation management. The IBS university publishes their own case study for teaching. They also has included the HBR case study, which is very good.

Faculty at college was mixed one. There were few very good faculty and there was other faculty who are doing phd from the same college and dont have very good teaching experience. The facility uses case study during class discussion and multiple times facility himself is not able to conclude the cases.

Yes, my college provide internship to the students every year . Generally In 3rd year . UPES spend a lot of money in providing internship . The work you have to do on internship is depend totally upon you . If you are good in academics or your CV is good then you can also have a chance to get experience in research lab of that particular company .

First of all I apply for the counselling as I do not give entrance test so I have to apply for it . Then I was called for counselling. The administration in admission office are very kind and helpfull in nature.Then they asked me to show my 10th 12th and Jee main score card .After that they checked whether I clear all of there cutoffs .

Gender ratio is good, although its very bad in mechanical engineering stream. Student parties and workshops are frequently organised. There are a lot of cultural and technical societies which one can join. Student diversity is good as people come from different parts of the country. There is no issue regarding tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

The college follows semester system. First 2 semesters focused on generic engineering subjects, like mathematics, engineering drawing, mechanics, etc. Afterwards, the course structure was focused on analog and digital electronics. Important subjects included electrical machines, microelectronics, digital electronics, DSP, etc. The course was a bit old, but was updated in 2010 for future batches.

The placement and job opportunity is quite good.Because most of the colleges are coming in the college campus and less no of students are selected in the placement .So the placement and the job opportunity is not very good. But the most of the classes are arranged for the training and placement.and most of the students are participating in the class.

The course structure is very good because i gain most of the knowledge for the course structure.and the course structure is good and most of the technical knowledge get through. This most of the value added courses add in your course and some additional subjects are included in course and the some technical knowledge gain through you subjects.

Fees structure is very cheap compared to other engineering colleges. Initially while we studied that is in the year 2009. I am a 2013 passout. so for tuition fees of 8 semesters we have paid something around 2 Lacs. While for hostel accomodation we paid around 48K only for lodging. While for fooding we need to pay around 1300-1700 based on the standard of mess committe.

We have 2 internal exams per semester for the theory papers and then one internal exam for the practical papers. Apart from that the normal Semester pattern follows. 8 semesters. The odd semesters will be having less time while the even semesters had more time. The Exams are conducted very strictly with the help of internal as well as external invigilators.

I appeared for NIFT entrance exam. There are two types of exams, one is for the design people and other is for the technology ones. I took the technology exam. I was preparing for engineering and so I happened to appear for this exam as well. I got 178 rank all over India. I chose this because my father has a textile business and I want to take it forward by expanding it into apparel industry.

Once the results are announced, counselling happens. In my year it was through online process where you fill the preferences and according to of seats, you are given the NIFT centre. One has to give preferences according to their NIFT centres. For design people, it is also according to the course they want to pursue. There is domicile for people belonging to particular region.

Our college motivates to go for industrial training as well as internships. The process of going for internship in the company that has visited college for recruitment is relatively easy while those students who are applying to companies not in the college list face difficulties. I went for internship in think and learn pvt.ltd where the stipend was INR 20000 per month and the overall experience was very good.

Gender ratio is very good.Comes to about 60:40 (male:female) if the overall campus is concerned. SRM student affairs head a lot of cultural bodies as well as science groups including maths club,Chess,Gaming, Dance,Drama,fashion and many other. Equal opportunities are given to all irrespective of caste,gender and ethnicity and every body consists of students from different culture and ethnicity.

Course Curriculum is decided by the VTU. In Karnataka VTU is the only university and through that only every college is affiliated. So VTU decides the course curriculum and we have got a really good course structure which includes lab and electives in 6th and 7th semester. One can easily choose electives which will lead someone to core or to software path according to individual's choice.

Placements are good To be clean I would like to say that Placements for MECHANICAL and CIVIL is less but remaining departments have a very good placement opportunities. Some Mass Recruiters-TCS, IBM, DELLOITTE, LNT, SONY, HITACHI, NOKIA SIMENS etc. Package varies according to company like it varies from minimum 3.6 to maximum 8 LPA.

There are 2 main semester exams and 4 mid term exams. The exams are bit chiller out. Especially the semester exams have 2-3dayd on average for preparation on each subject if you do not have KT. Mid terms have less portion but 2 exams on a day and can get a bit hectic .Besides assignments are a requirement and if you keep waiting for the last minute then it'd surely going to be very hectic.

The course structure designed provides foundation for all the software development cycles, programming languages, networking, operating systems, database, big data analytics. Courses also include some of the mechanical and electrical subjects. A course in communication skill helps to strengthen the fluency and confidence to communicate effectively and clearly.

Our college has a different approach. They expect students to go through industrial training rather than internship , though the final decision is upto the student whether he wants to pursue industrial training in a particular field or wants to go for an internship with an organisation. Students will have to go for industrial training in both 3rd and 4th year.

The faculty of the college is not the best but the teachers do thrive to attain the level that of much higher institutes. The faculty is really helpful when it comes to dealing with students problems. Strictness is very minimum as compared to other institutes. Most of the faculty are highly educated and have a good exposure of the industrial culture.

It was a very good college with lots of fun activities and full of experianced faculties who made this 4 years of journey very easy for me. In 4 years i learned many thing that helped me a lot in living my life ahead. Talking about the cource structure its similar to other colleges but in our college we had 2 internal and 1 external exams and in 2 internal to pass we have to score 50 out of 100 and in external 50 out of hundered

I went to the college and directly talk to the officials and followed the admission procedure like filling up the admission form,submitting the required documents like passing certificate, 10th 12th certificate, Migration. And like that i booked the seat for CSE department and after 1 month i was called to start my college.
