I got admission in this institute through DAVV-CET entrance exam 2011 after 12th. I have done M.Tech in IT from this institute which is a integrated program after 12th - 5 & half year course i.e. 11 semester [now this course is of 5 year]. Admission Process: After you shortlisted for the counselling process, you have to go for counselling at IIPS. If you want admission in M.Tech course then you must score good marks or rank in CET exam.

Placements are just incredible. I'm placed in three of the IT giants i.e. Infosys Ltd., TCS, WIpro. As my university is A grade state university so the placement rates are quite high as compared to the private institutes in Indore. There are many companies which come for the recruitment process : Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, Mu-Sigma, Amdocs, Adobe, HCL etc.

Apply for CUSAT CAT. Keep track of the forms from JAN-FEB. (Note: NRI quota forms are seperate. Expensive than normal forms but if you fill these forms Cut off will be very less for you but college fees will be higher) Give the exam. Once the ranks are out, you can apply for councelling with branch preferences. There are two campuses. 1st campus is better so fill your choices accordingly. (Option EE1P means EEE in 1st campus. EE2P means same for second campus.) Come to the college for counselling. Book your seat. Options do upgrade when people above you on rank basis cancel their seats. Spot Councelling is also there, Ship tech. and Safety and Fire Engineering branches are very much in demand since they have good placements.

Placement has been good for CS IT EC EEE lot of software companies of course some core companies do come for Electronics people. Mech and Civil dont have many core companies coming there way. Still Godrej, L&T, Mahendra, Wonderla are a few names. Software companies that freequently visit are TCS Wipro IBM SAP Oracle, Shiptech placements are seperate. They have high packages. Safety & Fire Engineering also has high packages. All companies have there eligibility criteria. Single backlog may be allowed in some software companies but core companies usually dont accept any backlogs.

We have various events that happen regularly in our college. A series of Pow-Wow workshops happen every year in the start of the semester. These workshops let students choose art pursuits and pursue them for 3 days in a row. Many industry specialists are called and the workshops are usually more of entertainment and less of work. Secondly, we have our our annual cultural fest called Pearl Utsav, where we see many competitions and performers on the stage doing their thing. Diwali Mela- Students put up stall and get their bhangra scene on on this 2 day mela at Pearl. Christmas Fest- With crazy photobooths and amazing food stalls, this fest is a delight.

I had given my entrance exam and was certain that i'd get in because it went amazing and my confidence was built up. As expected, I got a mail in my inbox asking me to appear for the interview. The interviewers were very inquisitive and challenging, making sure the candidate has adequate knowledge of the course and the fashion industry itself before considering her/him for the college. On top of that, one needed to have creative bend of mind which was showcased well in my portfolio of sketches and photography.

The most common events are treasure hunt, fashion show, Mr. or Miss. (college name), quiz shows, DJ night, rink football, box or open cricket, tug of war etc. The list has the events like AD-SELFIE, APP CHALLENGE, CORPORATE ROADIES, AD- MAD etc the best thing about the events are that, the events are't just for the fun, they were actually related to the commerce field & will give participants the exposure to the real world work experience.

A course for MBA was for 2 years where there were 4 semester.and also after one year come back from internship,it was time for deciding specialization with three category.first was finance,second is marketing and third one is human resource and all the management game, management test, management models which was very needful for research methodology.

Gender ratio is 60:40 in girls and boys respectively students fresher parties then farewell parties. Our collage also provide us collage lab which is very needful to those who have not laptops our collage also organised sports activities like cricket, table tennies and badminton and basketball we also player management games.

This Part is average. Everything is just going just for placement . they taught you everything not for to become an innovative engineer but they taught to get ready for placements. Curriculum is the same as UGC recommend them . they can not modify it but they should teach some latest technologies instead on C,C++,Java.

Classroom is awesome because we never listen, even we don't know what is going on the class. but genuinely 70% faculties are awesome. This is only applicable who wish you learn something from them.

The my college rajiv gandhi institute of petroleum institute is a new institute it had started in 2007 so due to newest in college it have poor faculty our faculty are well qualified and well educated but the major problem is the teaching experience is low. so they have knowledge but they can't share it in proper way it is useless the poor teacher of our institute are mentioned below.

There are only two course for B.Tech in my college, first is chemical eng and second is the petroleum eng my college is also named as petroleum institute but the chemical eng. branch is the best for placement and as well as in learning system i am interested in chemical eng so it take the chemical branch and leave the petroleum because have both option according to my JEE rank.

The campus was really small, and due to the strict discipline enforced by the authorities, there wasn't much 'campus life' to write home about. The gender ratio wasn't that great either, with only about 25% of the population being females. As you would expect with any college in Kolkata, Bengalis made up the bulk of the population, and most of the remaining population was from the neighbouring state of Bihar. In terms of religious diversity, there were people from most of the major religions (Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs), but Hindus constituted about 95% of the total population. There was also a fair amount of diversity in the economic background of the students, with there being roughly a Normal distribution over family income. Overall, it was a pretty cosmopolitan environment with students of various ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, and political beliefs co-existing in perfect harmony. Extracurricular activities were pretty limited to be honest (though I've heard they've picked up in recent times), and sports opportunities were almost non-existent. However, the college did have a very vibrant robotics club, and a highly active community of competitive coders (of which I myself was a part of), who regularly used to win several accolades for IEM at national level techfests all across India. A large number of workshops on robotics used to be organized throughout the year. During my time as a student, a drive was launched to get the students interested in entrepreneurial activities, and such activities have grown tremendously over the last few years. Finally, one event we really looked forward to were the movie screenings in the college auditorium, which used to happen about twice a month.

As with all the other private engineering colleges in the state of West Bengal, IEM is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), and hence follows the the course curriculum designed by them. According to this curriculum, the papers in the first year are common to all the different engineering streams, and then specialization takes place from second year onwards. The typical course load is around 5-7 papers per semester, with there being usually 3-4 theory papers and 2-3 lab papers. While most of the course structure is rigid, the student does get to choose one elective paper each during their seventh and eighth semesters. In addition, the student is also expected to complete an industrial internship during the summer break at the end of the third year. Moreover, every student is required to submit a dissertation based on a research project in his/her final year. Overall, the curriculum is relatively well-designed, though it lacks flexibility.

PG course structure is a combo of technical which includes design aspects and also product design techniques. It will be useful to be design engineer or research fellow. Research fellows are having good facilities and scope through this college. the courses are designed mainly in product design and core research. electives selection is self dependent and some are mandatory. Huge options available in Choosing electives even possible to select interdisciplinary.

Fee structure is better when we compared to all IITs and NITs. Pg sem fee is around 35000/-including hostel and dining charges.UG fee structure is around 65000/- which Includes academic, dining and boarding. PHD fee is 20000 per semester including acadamic, dining and boarding. The fee structure is very much feasible to PG & PHD. Overall comparatively UG fee is expensive but feasible if we compared with other reputed institutes.

Gender ration is about 980 girls per thousand boys there are parties organised by student cultural department which has dance and food students are from different states there is fifty percent quota for Punjab students and rest fifty thousand are from other states which make diversity very rich.there is no student organisation and students are not discriminate on various grounds mention above.

Course here in thapar is good. labs are good. we had six subjects in first semester and 5 in second semester with one elective then we have two subjects in third semester in which one is elective. and in fourth semester there is n subject, students have to complete their thesis work in fourth semester. all the labs are well equipped and the instructors are also having great knowledge.

There is usually 1 month’s gap between even and odd semester, that gap is not sufficient for anyone to do internships, do not give any kind of attendance concession or do not make any provision to facilitate the people who are willing to do internship. Even for the firms which visit campus for internships, the faculties have a negative attitude and do not allow students to go. They have to skip classes and go for internship and later on they are asked to maintain 100% attendance in remaining classes. Even sometimes faculties call HRs of these firms saying our students will join late and will do a 1 month internship only another thing I got to know from my seniors i am in first year so I can't really judge.

Its okay, neither good nor bad. If you don't really screw up your college grades, you'll definitely have an offer letter in hand at the end of placement season and if you are better than average, you'll probably have more than one. But if you go by the average salaries that are offered, its bad. Majority of placed students (80%) join companies like Infosys, Accenture and others in the same salary range (3-5 LPA). Mechanical department sees comparatively better opportunities than other dept. For computer science and IT, Microsoft is the only dream company that can be mentioned here. Amazon, Google, Oracle, Adobe, Directi, Goldman Sachs and similar ones DO NOT visit here.

I got admission through the Competitve exam marks,First we need to do registeraton and based on the competitve exam marks the candidates are getting shorlisted and merit list is displayed .If we got entry into the merit list list then we need to fill the admission form.there are other ways too for taking admission in the college like Cap round

I have taken MHCET and scored 123 in it. Because it is one of the best college of Nagpur and my seniors from school have also studied here and they all have given good reviews about it

Going to the college was difficult during those days as there was no public transport on that road (shooting range) some how I managed to go to the college i met Deepak Sharma (Ass Registrar), after reviewing all my documents and my rank card, he gave me the 4 page long admission form. I filled that form and submitted it along with the College fees + security fees at the Finance counter. They gave me a Receipt for the payment. I came back to Deepak Sharma sir and gave him the receipt and that was all sir asked me to join the college from the next day.

Faculty was amazing. They were all well experienced and experts in their subjects there was a time when we did not like one of the faculty, and even complained about her. And College immediately took action and replaced the Faculty. In my 4 yrs of degree I came across all amazing teachers, all were so good in giving classes in the best way that even the dumbest person of the class always scored well.

The campus life is really good we enjoy it i think the ratio of gender is about 52:48 out of 100 of boys and girls respectively.the college campus is dense and didn't occur any type of diversity among students. The workshop is in bad condition , here is some labs including physics , chemistry, botany, zoology, geology etc and also in Management courses.There is a sport campus outside the college campus and occur some competition.

The seniors are really good nature they are helpful to us they provide us some good and interesting information related to our subjects related to jobs. At the time of admission interact some seniors which are passed out but are coming for seminar they talk us really well they tell us their experience in colleges. they are really well .I was feeling lucky to talking them.

My campus life was awesome. There was 90% Male students and 10% female students. there was also a centre for innovation(CFI) where we were able to innovate. we had lots of opportunity to work smoothly and getting Most advantages of all opportunities like Hi FI Fast Internet, Library, Central Workshop, CFI, and Tech rooms in every Hostels. there was many students from different culture and religions. There are also politics in campus related to General Secretary, Hostel Secretary, Mess secretary, Garden Secretary, Branch councilor and Dean of Students. There was also severals group in this campus like ACEPT, HINDI MITRA MANDAL.

i was enrolled for Admission online. I preferred IIT Madras at first choice. i got B.tech in chemical engineering on the basis of my rank. same information was shared through online portal. I visited IITM on 24th July 2012. Admission was taking in Student Activity centre (SAC) building. we had to produce our all relevance documents like JEE admit card, JEE Rank Card, 12th Board Marks sheets, OBC certificates. Administration was very good and helpful for us. if we are missing some document or we don't have it at the time of admission then they provided us 3 Month duration to submit it.

Examination sturure are 70% are simlilar with all engg college there are 8 semester over all as i am Direct second year student i only had 6 semester. B.Tech college are always one semester above all the engg college because in the 8th sem students have to go to training each semester is having practical plus written exam. Some papers are only base on grading. some sub only have written exams.

Talking about Placement there is no separate companies are coming for Btech. Students have to compete with 3-4 collages students within the same study because of this chances of getting placed is less. But inplant training is there and because of this 80% of students got opportunities to work in the same company.

Fee structure is as per the teaching and quality of the institute and place. Recently fee increase had been done due to college development. Fee is 80k per an academic year. Students can pay the fee in 2-3 installments in requirements for the students. So govt provide half of the fee for few students those who have applied for scholarships.

Well focused and understanding the lectures and explanations given to us regarding the course subjects with laboratory curriculum with well punctual. College manages the students will better momentum with fees and permanently jntuh affiliated college in top 10. College is autonomous and accredited by NBA, approved by AICTE New Delhi.

The cutoff for the college was displayed on the website. You go to the college to collect the form. Fill it there along with a declaration and attach all your documents required. Documents were passing certificate, marksheet, class 10th marksheet, provisional certificate. You submit the forms and documents. Then go to the bank which is in the college premises itself. Submit the fees and you are admitted.

A lot of activities keep happening in the college. Right from department fests to the main college fests, DU sponsored seminars and guest lectures. Each department gets to hold its fest once annually so that each student gets a fair chance to participate. Whereas montage the annual fest is a big hit with over 3k students all over delhi coming to attend competition and enjoy the day.

Well placements depend much on your potential. A lot of dream and super dream companies come and offer jobs. Department of Mechanical Engineering is nearing about 100% job placement record. Students have no trouble finding coveted positions in reputed corporate and business houses that visit the campus every year, offering an excellent salary package on par with international standards. The consistent placement record illustrates the commitment to the success of the University.

I wrote SRMJEE and scored a rank of 2000. Then I went for admission, Initially you have to look for the form release date in internet. After that you will have to fill the form online, giving your details. The money for the forms has to be paid online, demand draft may be accepted, I don't remember much. Then download the syllabus and study well Incase you haven't.

I got admission in this college after qualifying BCECE.
