Xavotsav is the main fest of the college. It is one of best fest of the state if not the country, It has got all varieties of competitions starting from Quiz,Sports to Dance and music. In one line " East or West Xavotsav is the best". It is still going strong from atleast 20 years and will go on and on.

Placements and Job Opportunities are very much there. It is one of the prestigious Colleges of India, A class of its own. All major companies from FMCG, Media, Supply Chain,IT etc come for Campus recruitment. Whoever passes or graduates from here are best in class and flourish in life.

Since it's my first semester only, don't have much to say but we have operations research subject in the first semester itself which I believe is great sort of learning in the area of research application. Apart from that they also have one project for 2 years to make with extensive research under the broad guidance of a guide cum professor provided by the university.

I procured the forms through the college website submitted it online with thumb impression. First they shortlisted the me on the basis of percentage in class 12th and marks in graduation. Then they conducted interviews to select the candidates for the course. In the interviews they ask basic questions about accountancy and financial markets.

The college has a dedicated placement cell, it caters to not only getting reputed companies to come for campus placement drives but also helps students to groom themselves for cracking the selection procedure by conducting sessions for personality development, improving communication skills etc. Reputed companies like Infosys, Syntel, HCL, and even Indian Armed forces have been part of recruitment drives at the campus.

Exams were spaced out with only one day of gap between two consecutive exams. The exam time is usually very hectic and not to be taken lightly. Same goes for lab sessions and exams. The lab sessions are conducted throughout the year (everyday a different subject) with examinations at the end of semester and internal assessment throughout the semester.

Every faculty in our college concentrates on every student and every one are cooperative and helpful in each and every aspect .You never have to worry about the subjects as professors will be available all the time and good staff in library to. As they will be very helpful in each and every aspect providing books to the students and helping poor.

There will different sets which will have different questions to different students and having around seven subjects as well as practicals and Vivo Voice and around 54 credits need to get every academic each subject pass mark was fourty and will have internals as well 20 for internal and need to get 20 from the externals.

I had applied through the online application form and paid the registration fee as D.D. The written exam was optional since I had a GATE score valid enough to get an admission. The results were out soon, and based on the rank, called for counseling. Based on your rank, you will be called for counseling and you can pick any seat from the remaining seats in the applicable branches.

Some of the faculty are exceptionally brilliant. While the majority lacks an updated knowledge base. The faculty behavior also is unprofessional at times. But there used to be continuous evaluation of faculty and refining. The student-teacher relation was good. Most of the faculty are having a helping mentality (even though they are not capable enough to contain our doubts).

First of all in 1st year I don't understand English speech and text book or reference book language bocz I Gujrati medium student but after 1 year I will understand but in first year I failed in 3 subject which is passed in 2 year. Also our workshop faculty is very helpful for us as too much good for learning a practical.

Per year 47000 per student and it is paying per semester and also give GTU exam fees semester vise which cost is per subject is 125 .And also which people is leave the far to the college those people have a transportation facilities. Which cost per person per semester 8500 to 9000 which depends on root and area.

Placement and job opportunities is very good in our university because our placement cell always work on this. It will connected different companies and call and show the student performance. and there are many companies are come for placement and hire most of students on good packages.

Our exam are hold in every six month means semester system. When our exams are start it will end with in one month. In the exam day we have a proper time to revise the topic. And our practical exam are started after our written exam. Some internal also held in every 1.5 months.

I haven't seen such a bad experience in my student life.such a bad campus life I have experienced in this college.no encouragement in sports.my friends uses their own money for Jersey for crikey team to attend vtu sports. Our Dean was a fraud. Encouraging only ec students. Dean must be supportive to all branches of that college.

I took much branch. thought it's evergreen branch and can enter into it jobs if not interested in core. The management staff is fully bad.no good lecturers states long time.in my 4years studies I have seen 4HODs. no support from management for any of the project. college environment is full bad.

The faculty of the college consisted of all the experienced professionals be it from the advertising field, tv or radio field, event or PR field. The professors came to give lectures and then had their own job in the same field to do. Hence, they kept on updating with the latest development in the field to the students. All this really helped us to have a better understanding of the scenario of the current happenings.

Almost all the festivals were celebrated in the college. Also, our college also had its own celebrations as well as for the NGO (brotherhood) it was associated to. Various events were also celebrated and organised by another event company which was also associated to the college. Miran Productions and our team came together to organised various events for the college.

The course fee is determined by RTU and it's approximately 70000 per year. There is 28000 tuition fees per sem. 7000 Development fees and 10000 Miscellaneous fees. This is for students which take admission on merit basis. The fees for Management quota is different and depends on case to case basis. The complete structure is published on the Institute site.

The faculty is the major plus point of this organisation. The the top of it is Dr S L Surana who is at pinnacle of his field be it academics or administration and he heads the academia of the institute. Then there's Prof N K Banthia who heads the Mechanical Engineering Dept and his professional and practical approach is quite helpful.

I have qualified in GATE 2007 with rank below 100. Then I have applied to many universities with the specialization either in computer science and engineering or software engineering. But Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore is the only university at that time which offered M.Tech in Cyber Security. I have applied with my GATE rank and got admission directly. Now the process has been changed because of the large number of applications to the department. Admission process contains written test and an interview.

Please mention how many were placed, which all companies came to campus, how much did they offer. ( Mention Companies, Packages in detailed figures)Common placements will happen at the time of final academic year starting. But there are department wise campus placements based on the specialization and core companies.Companies like Microsoft, Oracle, L&T, Bosch pay high salaries and filter students based on the academics.

Two Semester per year. Common test held on each month with marks included in the final exams. Lab test were also there and conducted periodically. Apart from these, there were marks for discipline and participation in various events and cultural activities , thus motivating students for all round development.

The college is having extremely talented and hard working faculty which makes this college students to score good placement. Most of the faculty are PHD holder who have extremely deep understanding of the subjects. Practical exposure were very good . The faculty behaviour with students is very nice.

"Course structure is according to AICTE. However, university is not approved by AICTE. But there's no need of that. Course structure in Amity is very hectic. There are 11 subjects in 1st semester. Unlike, other colleges, here you have to study one compulsory foreign language like German, French & also have to pass it with good marks. From one side, it is good and there is a need of such skills in today's competitive world, but on the other side, you'll find, no body gives any important to these extra subjects. But students already have lots of pressure regarding other core subjects that they are not able to focus on extra subjects. System is strict. Whatever have to happen, will happen by a recognized process here. 75% attendance is must in every subject else you'll get debard (not allowed to give examination). There is no such atmosphere of research here."

Almost Every month, there is any program. Each semester may contain one or two international conferences. There is a annual sports fest "Sanagathan" organizes every year. It organized at a reality big level. Students expertise in various sports can take part & the winners get a chance to compete at Amity Noida. "Amiphoria" is the annual cultural fest. It is one of the biggest fest in the city. Celebrities visits are common. Other management fest like "ELT Conference" "Tech-fest" happens every year. Amity never compromises on expenditure on such events. Most of the times, international conferences may cost more than 5 lakhs. This year "International Conference On Plasma" costs around 7.5 lakhs jus for 3 days. Now, anyone can assume how good they were.

Course structure was great along with the best faculties available in Ahmedabad for each and every subject, also we had industrial visits for better learning experience. Activities such as cultural dance, fashion shows, sports are given equal importance.

Not sure about internship at college. The institute does organise campus interviews though. Placement percentage is around 85% as students at our college have always been rankers at Gujarat University for at least 10-12 years as per my knowledge.

No, college doesn't provide any internship but as a part of semester break every student is expected to do a on job training and project from any known computer institute or any category of his/her interest, choosing a branch doesn't mean that student has to struck to it through out 4 years even he/she doesn't found it interesting any more and want to pursue anything else.

Its very basic level course starts with basics of computer and take you advance level by final year of college. Every semester will have few computer subject and provide you the basic of computer to high level industry standards required to join any organisation post you college studies. Tremendous opportunity to learn and decide your future during college training.

Great Crowd, it will groom your personality and will give you lifelong experience. Sports are organised by sports club ,which sucks and you will hardly get time for other activities, thanks to management and course structure.

Out of 10, 4 faculties are good. Mostly External faculties are good. The course is not upto mark at all. Many biased faculties and some faculties are really great, but lacks teaching skills and creating interest in class.

I gave the common entrance test for all engineering college under Punjab technical university and cleared it. Then was held the screening, which i cleared and got the college. Screening process took 1 whole day and at last got the college with desired stream.

Mostly the faculty was good except the few which were newly joined and had zero experience and lacked lots of things. But overall the faculty is helpful. Understanding and motivating. Access use of Punjabi is one of the major drawback.

Every student life must have study as well as entertainment in his life to make learning mos interesting. I my college a large event called Mytri used to be celebrated. The whole college will be participating in it, they used conducted lot of computations. There were also lot of branch wise events too,in those events only subject related programs will be conducted.

Exams were planned by a semesters wise for every six months of syllabus completion. The whole subject thought in a semester was well planned and made into a good knowledge testing exam papers. Every exam will be having a day gap for next exam when we can revise our subject we learned through out the semester which we prepared before.

Placements & Job opportunities within the college were not much as our's was the 1st batch of the college. But we were given opportunities and full support to appear for interviews conducted at other colleges falling under Pune University, TCS, Persistant, DataMatrix,Accenture were the major companies which came for placements and the average package offered was 3 Lakhs p.a

Gender ratio is not an issue here and no discrimination based on gender, race, religion is encouraged. College conducts extracurricular activities, yearly a fest is conducted for almost a month which includes all kind of events i.e sports, programming contest, exhibitions and many more. College environment is filled with fun the competitive spirit of the students is high.

Two important events were celebrated in our college. One is Fiesta(An inter-college techno-cultural fest) conducted during odd semester and Insignia ( A national level techno-cultural fest) conducted during even semester. Among these two Insignia is considered to be the greater one with prizes worth nearly 7 Lakh and many events. Participating in these events was really a great pleasure as well known celebrities would be invited resulting in name and fame.

About the gender ratio I would tell is it was dependent on the branch. For example if you consider mechanical branch obviously boys are more there. So like this the ratio is varying. In my branch we were 40 girls and 30 boys. Our college gave scope to many extracurricular activities and even sports. I with my team won cricket match(named googly) for consecutively 2 years(me as captain). We used to compete as a branch representative in many competitions.
