Campus life was pretty hectic as the college is 2 hours journey from home. In the class of 40 people there were only 5 girls rest were boys. There were no such competitions. As the college campus lacked the instruments. Practical knowledge was the main concern as they were not teaching on new languages like Java Python and Perl although c c++ was there Oracle etc were not taught.
Fee structure was expensive compared to other colleges for General Wards. For people coming from BSF background fee structure was less. They were paying half the fees per year. Although there were SC and ST and OBC candidates who were getting complete payoff of their fees from GOVT side. But it was expensive for general candidates.

It is quite good and pretty, mentors r quite supportive and helpful.Research based works r innovative and full of knowledge.Teachers show full cooperation.I want to share a life experience from the college. One day in the computer lab I forgot the coding and let the system cracked by somewhat means. All my friends cracked jokes and made me feel like nonsense but my computer teacher came and rescued the situation and boosted my confidence.
Fee structure is not reasonable. It is quite expensive. This college is not meant for poor class citizen.High salaried, rich people can bear the expense of BIT.I did the same by taking loan.Students who r admitted here belong to well -to do family.70k -80k is not a affordable amount for simple poor class for doing BCA course.

Fee structure was feasible. My fees for each Semester was around Rs 6000/-. Some Semester it was lesser than this. Comparatively the fee structure was low than other colleges and was affordable for all families. We also had computer classed conducted within the campus at low cost which helped us to study more about computer and few computing languages.
Campus recruitment were conducted by Infosys, Accenture, IBM, CTS and many more but i could not attend any of those as i had my Hockey tournament on the same day, So i am not sure about the packages or the offers. After i graduated i attended the walk in interview in Bangalore for Infosys and i got selected and i am working in infosys Mysore now.

Gender ration is 70:30 for male vs female , mainly male dominated in our time 20 years back though that ratio was 50:50 after some years. There are extracurricular activities like quiz, sports , computer lab etc. Workshops are good. We have a good audio visual auditorium(AVC) with 1500 seating capacity for organising cultural events , fill festivals , seminars etc which was designed by our Civil engineering professors.
Each year Cultural Festival , Film festival & sports week are celebrated. Also so many technical seminars are organised through out the year. Fill festival is for one week , also cultural festival is for one week .In cultural festival students from other colleges participate in different competitions like quiz, dumb charade , debate , acting etc.
Faculties are very supportive if you regularly attend the classes. They would not guide you wrong any day, but you need to attend the classes and show your active side. They are on time always ready to help you guide you , but majorly depends upon you.
The internship program is less supportive but since many students who have passed out have contacts in industry so the can guide you and probably help you find the right place for internship. 4000 would be general stipend or even less initially.
The course curriculum completely suffices the need of the corporate world. They provide you ample platforms to proof yourself, to refine and groom.A lot of guests lectures were arranged. We also went for Industrial visits, which i felt a waste of time.We were involved in a lot of Clubs like the HR Club, Sports Club, Marketing Club, Finance Club.A lot of quizzes and competition took place, quite often which always gave you a platform to become presentable and gain confidence when addressing public.
I cleared the B MAT. And scored 200.It is considered to be a good college in the city. One of the colleges which gives you the degree of Masters in Business Administration. You can apply via CAT score and the B Mat as well. After the first cut is clear, you get a call for the Personal Interview. The rounds are : A Group Discussion which does the negative shortlisting and the last round is a Personal Interview.
I selected Electrical Engineering branch in b.tech because of my interest. Here is a well structured courses to read because of which it becomes easy to study properly and easily and gain great quality knowledge. As we have to study in first year there is a lot of fear of exams and others but because of good structure of subjects it becomes easy to held all of it.
There are so many events which are celebrated. College is also attentive in organizing events also with focusing on good and quality studies. Events like Teacher's Day, Srijan, Seminars, Personality Development Programmes and so on are organised every year.By which students gets refreshments and focus on studies and also developed.

Gender Ratio is Fair in all branches except mechanical. 50% students are expected from Bihar and Jharkhand. College is pretty chilled with its schedule. Offers 4 half days and 2 Full days. So plenty of time for Extracurricular activities in the college. The college has clubs like Rotaract, TEDx etc. Seminars on various topics are held every month.National Grounds is used as the sports Arena for any competition
Course Structure is well defined by the VTU, Belgium to which this college is affiliated to. Curriculum is revised every 4 years to meet the changes in the industry.College provides well facilitated labs and also has various R&D centers, the latest being in the field of nanotechnology.

Since I am already employed basis my knowledge and experience of 16 years in shipping industry. I never asked / checked on university placement cell on job opportunities.
My major course is computer science. Compare to the other college fees structure this college fees structure is comfortable for me at the same time lab in good conditions. The course books also given by library and to get proper time in college. Computer science staffs also very supported and motivated peoples.
Exam structure is very strict. There is no following the any partiality of any kind of students. Its very commonly studied college peoples. The lab will close before 1 month of the college. I have one suggestion to if students exam time there is if available last 10 days using the labs.
The admission was based on the AIEEE mark and the exam conducted by the college one who qualify the criteria get the admission. But the branch is decided according to the mark obtain. Before that a round of personal interview is conducted to check the comm skill and personal appearance.
AIEEE and score nearly cut off mark the college provide better infrastructure and faculty. The Lab are fully equipped with tool and machine . The class room contain smart board and every feature is online . That make the college one of the outstanding among the other.

We have national level event Adrita in 2008 which includes technical, robotics, cultural divisions for 3 days. Since it's my first semester only, don't have much to say but we have operations research subject in the first semester itself which I believe is great sort of learning in the area of research application. Apart from that they also have one project for 2 years to make with extensive research under the broad guidance of a guide cum professor provided by the university.
I procured the forms through the college website submitted it online with thumb impression. First they shortlisted the me on the basis of percentage in class 12th and marks in graduation. Then they conducted interviews to select the candidates for the course. In the interviews they ask basic questions about accountancy and financial markets.

The college has a dedicated placement cell, it caters to not only getting reputed companies to come for campus placement drives but also helps students to groom themselves for cracking the selection procedure by conducting sessions for personality development, improving communication skills etc. Reputed companies like Infosys, Syntel, HCL, and even Indian Armed forces have been part of recruitment drives at the campus.
Exams were spaced out with only one day of gap between two consecutive exams. The exam time is usually very hectic and not to be taken lightly. Same goes for lab sessions and exams. The lab sessions are conducted throughout the year (everyday a different subject) with examinations at the end of semester and internal assessment throughout the semester.

I had applied through the online application form and paid the registration fee as D.D. The written exam was optional since I had a GATE score valid enough to get an admission. The results were out soon, and based on the rank, called for counseling. Based on your rank, you will be called for counseling and you can pick any seat from the remaining seats in the applicable branches.
Some of the faculty are exceptionally brilliant. While the majority lacks an updated knowledge base. The faculty behavior also is unprofessional at times. But there used to be continuous evaluation of faculty and refining. The student-teacher relation was good. Most of the faculty are having a helping mentality (even though they are not capable enough to contain our doubts).

First of all in 1st year I don't understand English speech and text book or reference book language bocz I Gujrati medium student but after 1 year I will understand but in first year I failed in 3 subject which is passed in 2 year. Our Dean was a fraud. Encouraging only ec students. Dean must be supportive to all branches of that college.
