The curriculum is pretty standard. First year follows a standard template for all streams, namely English, Math, Computers, Physics, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics spread across two semesters. Practicals for CS, EE, ECE, and Mechanical Workshop for first sem and Engineering Drawing in the second semester. Also something called Language Lab, which basically preps us for interviews, GDs, presentations and stuff. The next few years are well-balanced, with Computer Science, Computer Architecture and Electronics related subjects. For soft skills, we have Professional Ethics, Economics for Engineers, Formal Language and Automata Theory, Technical Report writing, and Principles of Management.I'm still in the first year, so I haven't been given an opportunity to pick out electives but I've had a good look at the syllabus.Fifth semester electives:Circuit Theory and NetworksData CommunicationDigital Signal ProcessingObject Oriented ProgrammingSixth sem electivesInformation Theory and CodingComputer GraphicsERPOperation ResearchHuman Resource ManagementMultimedia TechnologySeventh and Eight sem hold a number of courses on Cloud computing, data mining, sensor networks, VLSI, modelling, simulations, control systems, soft computing, artificial intelligence, image processing and many more. While some subjects in the first year seem like they are irrelevant to what we might do in the future, every engineering college offers a similar first year curriculum, which implies that they must indeed be important for what lies forward. The rest of the course is multi-faceted and dynamic.
I appeared for JEE Mains, and WBJEE.I didn't fare too well in Mains, with an average-ish score which didn't qualify for Advanced.WBJEE was fairly decent. I ranked somewhere around 25k in a pool of 2.5 lakh or so examinees, of which 95k were awarded ranks.I was given the choice of several top colleges in the city. I was adamant that I wanted to study CSE. I didn't want to compromise with my stream, even if it meant having to give up one of the better colleges.Luckily, I didn't have to. My college is a new campus, under the IEM Group (Institute of Engineering and Management) It is considered to be among the top 3 colleges in the city, and one of the top in the east zone. A major issue with most colleges here is the fact that they are casual when it comes to the academic aspect. Which is why I wanted to shift to a college which is serious about that. Haven't been disappointed so far.

I went for an internship in Bosch coimbatore with an internship of 2k for my training. It was a basic of Java and c along with os administration. We had training for a duration of one week and worked for approximately two months
It was completely covering all the technologies of computer science and engineering. All topics from operating systems to hardware were covered. Apart from this other department guest lectures will be also a part of curriculum
Infinity 2016 is one of the best college event in pune. Its among the top 3. Its a cultural fest in which all the students come forward and get engaged in various activitieslie sponsorships, finance, logistics, marketing and registerations thus making it a huge success and an excellent learning experiwnce.
It doesnt teally matters. No students wants to get in touch with any alumni or seniors unless its required or any any work arises.but they keep comming to college to checkout new girls and boys and start hitting on them without any shame. All jobless people come agin to college in the name of doing mba
Faculty in the department was/is pretty brilliant with Sundar Sarukkai being internationally famous. He was the Director and one of the Philosophy faculty members. The intellectual standard of the faculty was pretty high cause no one without a PhD and some years of teaching experience was offered a position in the faculty. Plus, the applying candidates had to have an active research project to be seriously considered. These high parameters ensured we have professors like Apaar Kumar, Nikhil Govind, Gayathri Prabhu, Meera Baindur and Michael Dusche teaching us. Apaar taught us Ethics, Philosophy of art, Philosophy of Self and Social etc. Gayathri, a course in 20th century Modernist literature. Meera, Indian philosophy and Philsophy og Health and Biology. Michael, philosophy-sociology of law.
So the first year is when English, Sociology and Philosophy students studied common inter-disciplinary papers with a slight emphasis on philosophy. Second year is when specialisation began. But one could opt for a paper or two from the English or Sociology courses as an addition even in the second year. Each semester barring the fourth and last, had minimum four papers. In the last, minimum papers were two cause more time had to be devoted to the 30000 words MA thesis. The courses themselves had a a lot of flexibility cause professors were given significant amount of freedom to frame the course plan. In the first year, we had a basic course in Sanskrit too.

It was feasible i would have said, if i would have got the quality education. Here it was looking too much expensive as we did not got anything worth in return except a degree. For teaching Master students.lecturer has to be PHD qualified.but college never cared to call experienced professional except few who had good industry experienced. nither there was a single permanent master lecturer in college. No dedicated class room.everyday it changes. Every day only few hour classes.no proper structured.one in early morning.& second in late afternoon. Now you may guess.
All the faculty were guest lecturer. Few were really amazing educationist & i really got to learn allot from them not only about subject but life experience which they used to discuss & share. Few were just like any regular, who just come & give you notes and go.least bothered students are learning anything or not. But after getting into IHM Pusa i realized how big name in the market can fool you around and waste your time, energy & money. I really got to see the corrupt face of education industry.

It was not good for the first year. After that our college got autonomy and subjects were revised and was better. In university there were many irrelevant subjects that were very outdatedBut in autonomy the revised subjects were quite relevant and course was relatively new. The are experimenting currently but working in the right directionIn next couple of years they will have a stutainable n suitable course for all the branches. They should concentrate more on practicals for core branches like mech, civil and electrical engineering
The college was a lot more fun under university pattern. But the quality of study was not upto the mark.In autonomy the quality of study is good but the fun part is no where to be seen. Too strict rules and guidelines have hampered the image of college. Also orthodox thinking of management has crushed it's image in students eyes.Having said that the transeprancy and professionalism shown by college is unmatched.

I didn't take any. I entered via counselling by which I got 178 for 200. and entered the department of cs. Well yeah I could have got better but yeah ito placed well in tamilnadu.
Nope. not yet. but recently they started to bring in alumni and arranging some talk shows. I hope it will be fun though well seniors are friendly they will help u out so chill.

Technical college events, I have no idea. Cultural and management festivals are done manually and encourage all students for participation. College holds own party stage and hall and hence celebrated there.
Fee structure is very feasible. When iam passed out that year it is 85000 rupees for the total courseFee structure is very feasible. When I am passed out that year it is 85000 rupees for the total course.

Last year after results published that time celebrate. Last time all friends got together party and unforgettable time expend and also we was celebrated bashant panchayat swarsti puja.
My college annual fee is 72000only, laptop fee is 42000 only admition time if any buys want to give this money in installment wise, and exam fee each semester no of paper wise.
Our college has mostly good remarks as there are adequate Curricular activities and also they focuses on the studies which makes brilliant students but the bad remark of our college is they don't provide information about the events to be held in our college to those who can't attend college in daily basis and also time table should be comfortable for the students.
Campus life of the college is most beautiful and enjoying our college is full of Curricular activities and adequate labs, sports competition, debates etc. Gender ratio our college is almost equal. As there are proper seminar about sexual equality and racism so there is no intolerance about gender equality.
College curriculum was good. I took opted for biotechnology genetics and biochemistry. We have good lab sessions and theory classes. Apart from main subjects we also had English and Hindi classes. Also had environment classes and exams on the same.
On technical side we had events like science expo where in students came up with working models related to science background. On cultural side had cultural day or college day where in dance and other events took place
This college is under Visvesvaraya Technological University, which has a wide range of departments. I'm studying COMPUTER SCIENCE, which is bit easy under this university. First year papers are common for all branches, which include almost all subjects which we had studied in our +1 and +2. The second year subjects for CSE consists of computer and electronics related papers. Third year on every paper is purely based on Computer Science. Since I have just wrote my 5th sem exams, I can't explain much about the upcoming semesters. But, as far as I know, there will be elective in 6th sem on. And our college provides Operational Research and Programming Language as the main options, and I have elected OR as my elective.
The faculties are really good. The have good knowledge in what they are teaching. They can answer almost all doubts in the class and if they are not able to, they will go home find the answer and tell us the next day. That is they make sure that the student understands everything and no one is left unsatisfied. Also, they help us in extra curricular and activities. Faculties behave friendly too. They understand which student is capable of what and if anyone needs extra attention, they help those students by taking remedial classes.
Average. Not really low but not even expensive. Around 80000 per semester which is average compared to other universities but it is feasible for majority of the families. Also, getting loans is very easy as the placement numbers are really good
They were really nice. Helped students become an all rounder. The gender ratio was almost equal which is a very positive factor and more of all their was no bias. All were treated as equal
They were excellent with good experience faculties are from iit and nit. most of the faculties are doctoral and research oriented persons. The course structure is revised in every semester.
Teaching assistant. 20,000. there are so many internship in it sector also, for developing the it software for the college online exams and website. project associate in research level.
Kirorimal being a government college the fees is really very affordable, it is 8000 for each year, with separate 500rs for examination fees. Rest, books are available from everywhere and usually the reference book and stuff like that is provided by the teachers. It is all very reasonable in comparison to other colleges and private universities. In Delhi university people come from all the backgrounds so everything is fixed keeping that in mind.
Each student has to choose two main discipline subjects with one language and one foundation course each year. People who want to drop language and opt for the 3rd displcipline course can also do that, obviously few conditions applied and that subject is considered in lieu of the language one. You always have various option in the foundation courses which makes it even more interesting.

Mainly two exam1 MID SEM2 END SEMThe mid semester exam is of 30 marks and End semester exam is of 50 marks. Both exam are very-very important And there is 20 marks for teacher assessment that is only given by faculty depending upon their class performance, behaviour, social, attendance etc
The fee structure is feasibleIt is about 45000 per semester for the B.tech and it is about 49000 for the M. tech student. there is also less fee for the reserved class student.Mess fee is not included in the above.
Yes fees structure is almostly one coures is rupees fifty thousand rupees is in JEE examinations and so many other course are good .Fees structure it is so feesible and so mensuratively awesome I m college and everone can like this.
Internship in my college experiene is ine of the awesome and so stipend and the general stipend offered is so awesome and seriously. So best part of my life according to me this college is one of the best college.

Average faculty, but in that time students are good. Some faculty are extraordinary they will teach only 2 or 3 units out of 5 units. But we used to depend on mostly all in one that is spectrum all in one, because jntu question paper will be based on previous year questions, so we used to by heart all previous year questions. faculty nor college never tells us our future, how to study.
Fee structure is very good, 22000 rs for one year. I taken bank loan for 4 years and for computer, till now iam paying money for bank as they kept compound interest on my loan due to default in paying money due to lack of proper job because of recession period, our batch life collaspe for 3 years. but now every one is studying btech for free by showing fake certificates.
My college was the best.I spent 7 years in college. My puc bcom n mbaMy college faculty are the best. Bt right now most of them are replaced with few other people. Bt don feel they are as good as the ones v had. when v go as alumni we do not see the same enthusiastic welcomes
