The Placement & job opportunities were limited when i was studying but now they have increased a lot. there are companies like infosys, cognizant and some good players in Information technology players come for the campus interview although the interview criteria is very tough.

The campus life is good it is built in 20 acres of land so lot of facility for Sports etc. The Labs are very good and they are upto the industry standards. They do not descremenate based on ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

We had a 1:1 gender ratios in all other branches except mechanical engg there were regular sports competitions separately for cricket, football and basketball apart from this there used to be yearly sports meet, which was very well supported by the college with marks all inter college cultural events were also supported by the university.

There were only 2 core companies who came for mechanical engineers mahindra and ELGI who offeed 4.5L and 3.2L respectively other than these IT companies took around 250 of 400 students in the campus. The major recruiter was TCS offering 3.2L. Besides Wipro and UST also came.

Yes this part was good. My college used to organize events like youth cultural programme. It also used to organize technical festivals on university level. Apart from this, it used to organize basketball, volleyball inter-college tournaments.

Mainly sports events (both indoor and outdoor) took place our college. I was a member of my college Cricket Team. We won 3 matches in inter college competitions. Apart from this, dance and debates used to take place. Dance competition was most popular among the girls students. The rehearsal got started from months before.

Girls ratio was less as compared to the boys. It would be like 20:10. Hostel parties took place separately for boys and girls but still all were comfortable with the surroundings. There was no tolerance with regard to gender, religion or anything at all.

Campus life was really good with lot of friends. In this college you would find people from every state of india. Its a good mix of boys and girls. Hostel staying was really enjoyable. Nobody bothers you on your religious aspects or political aspects. you get a lot of time for all non-academic works. there were no restrictions.

I took all india level if enterance test conducted by CMC Vellore and qualified opting 182 rank for B.Sc course. After enterance exam i faced interview followed by medical exam. Totally not worth this is not the college if you are looking for all this stuff gender ratios were okay but the rules were strict to the core, like girls were not allowed to talk to boys in campus it was very very rate to think of any cultural or sports or other extra curricular activities that we had.

We rarely had any alumni meet i had heard about this from my friends in other colleges the worst thing was that i was never notified or invited for any such activity i am sure none of my friends did either i think the management has to concentrate on these activities at least for the same of students.

Curriculum was well balanced in each semester we had 2 programming lab papers 2 software oriented and 2 hardware oriented papers with an addition of maths, accounts, statistics, operations research(any of 1) other than that any one of the recent technologies can be taken as electives during my course we had taken electives like cloud computing as that was upcoming by then. I think the name itself is enoguh to get jobs from here. Because it is so difficult to crack the entrance exam and get a seat in this institute. After doing your mbbs you are placed in a phc. RHC in the state wtith handsome payments.

The College had a Semester pattern thus exams were conducted every six months. We get good one month Preparatory Leave before each exam and syllabus is quite easy, for only theory based questions are asked and rarely any problem based questions are asked. Moreover if you study the question papers thoroughly then it would be easier for you to predict the questions which would come in the examination.

Fee structure was feasible for my batch, but did subsequently increase for every new batch, and the inflation was around 15-20%. The tuituion fees was about 40k when i first joined and by the time i was in my final year it was 55k per year. The hostel fee remained the same throughout, i.e. 60k per year.

Campus life was ordinary, not much of a flashy kind as you'd expect in Delhi University, but nonetheless was good for a college situated in Roorkee. Though the hostel life was much better, as you'd hangout with your friends all day/night long, and thats where all the great memories are made.

Our management is about 50-50 some 50 good and other 50 bad but overall that will not reflect on our studies sometimes management compulse us to pay extra fees and they never give expansion for some students who not able to pay fees at correct time thats

My college campus life is very entertaining everyday every year they conducting symposiyum for every department and it will be very useful and innovative we never see a caste or religion ar anything else we enjoy our life as a family inside the campus.
