The annual fest is named as 'Lashkara', the fest is satisfactory and usually not happening. The department fests are way too interesting, as students come up with innovative ideas to showcase their department in a fun frolic way. The dramatic, fine arts, music, photography societies organize their respective fests showcasing their talent and inviting audience towards the non-academic domain. All these activities take place during the fest week, the environment is full festivities. Other than these, seminars, talk shows, competitions take place regularly, which involve student participation. Blood donation camp and NGO camps are also organized to contribute towards the society welfare. NCC camp is also organised, there is a specific group of students participating in NCC.
The English department of my college has the best professors. The course curriculum is as ascribed the University of Delhi, which is universal for all college under it. The faculty is skilled and encouraging, they support new ideas. The teaching methodology is not confined to classrooms, learning happens through seminars, movie screenings, theme-talks, paper presentations and other interesting methods. The students are engrossed in studies while experiencing simultaneously, which helps to grow.
Placement was not so good. College authorities had not required tie ups with companies & organizations. My selection was done but the company had terminate the offer letter. This was happened due to the communication gap between college authorities & organization.
AIEEE, UPSEE, IPU-CET. I was selected in both AIEEE & UPSEE. In AIEEE I did not get my branch of interest, so I had choose this college through UPSEE. This institute was offered me ECE which I want.
NCHMCT(national council for hotel management and catering technology, new delhi) was the all india level which i gave as a part of the entrance process. And i scored nearly rank 2000. IHM kolkata was also available for me but during councilling just before me the no. Of seates in ihm(kol) got over and the next IHM near to my place was IHM bhubaneshwar. And more over students get a more flexible and friendly studing environment here.
Placement is quite good. Airlines is the one sector which genrally does not come to the college. Rest all like mnc, hotels, restaurants, food chains and many more. Taj, oberoi, clarks, kfc, irctc, dominos and many more are the few gaints that visit here. Along side there are many small and big chains which hire from here. Packages are also decent. Ranging from 15000-35000 per month. And can be more too.
Campus life was ultimate the most awaited and important part of one's life. Everything was disciplaned every language was spoken. All students were different and friends of friends. It was a rich college with all amenities.
Management was beautiful and knowledgable and I loved my college and pray for betterment of all the people related to the college. I will always miss my golden days.
Fees structures are affordable for both rich and poor. We have the opportunity to pay the fees partly with in four month before every semester. BPL students can pay the few fees. Such as lab fees, exam fees, development fees etc. I paid only Rs. 1575 for per semester as exam fees and development fees. And 25000 for the three years session charge.
All the faculty are qualified to teach the course. They have special capabilities to increase our attention. If a student leg behind, they give extra time to understand the subject. They never feel tired to make out the subject easy. They always want that student must ask different question related with the days topics.

All the teachers in GVM having good knowledge in their particular subjects. They always help the students to understand the subject. Campus Life is a wonderful experience one should utilize it completely and open up to various activities try new things and not restrict yourself to books. I made a mistake by never participating during any Fest or Functions and I regret it.
There is alumuni network but I never went back to college as I started working soon after the college. But there is a almuni section of the college that is working hard to keep students connected who have passed out.
Course curriculum is basically based on hotel industry and the faculty over there are well qualified to provide good knowledge about that industry which we are going to join in future.

Amity campus is very cool, library of this campus is very beautiful and peacefull. In my class branch CSE about 15 girls and 50 boys.
As it is under Delhi University, so fee structure is quite feasible and will not make a hole in your pocket. There is no hostel facility. For all non-Delhities, it comes as a big trouble thanks to the living standard in city.Cafeteria will not impress you much as quality of food is not hygienic though you can find enough variety on menu. Not to get disappointed as there are so many eateries nearby providing delicious food at reasonable prices.
No matter how much college boasts of this, real picture is not the same. Placement cell is present in the college but quite inactive. Very few companies visited the campus. Some of those were Genpact, RBS, Oberoi etc. Just 30-40% of students get placed. Rest of them sits in central placement of the university. Average package is around 1.8 -2 lakh for UG courses.

I appeared in RPET and AIEEE and took admission in management quota, This college was recommended by my uncle so we visited campus and found that campus was nice.
Student can participate in extracurricular activities if his attendance is maintained, labs are good and well maintained.
