It is a most affordable college of Kolkata as it is a government college so the fees are very minimal and it also provides many scholarships program I have opted for the SVMCM Scholarship program and the college had successfully verified it

As I am from the commerce stream pursuing BCOM was my priority so I opted for it and after this, I am going to pursue an MBA which will help to reach there. In my college, all the subjects of BCom are studied in a very serious way

it was a good decission, yes I absolutely agree, they conduct many class assesment tests, midterm and endterm in each semester but once you will get used to it, it will be okay. By the way i like the method of taking tests and end term specially in programming subjects , unlike other colleges who takes the test on pen and paper in programming subjects too, here they take tests and exams on online platforms.

University has its own scholarship test which is called LPUNEST, throigh which a student can get up to 40 percent scholarship on your course. It gradually decreses phase by phase the admission occurs. Like in my case I got 25 percent scholarship through LPUNEST after the scholarship my fees is 90000 rupees per semester and 4000 examination fee per semester which is totalling to 188000 annually..

The teachers approach and all is that much good. They react to students based on their mood and how can teacher do this kind of things to student. And whenever we try to ask about permission for something without even reading or listening our thing. but their style of teaching and giving notes and all are good. Their approach towards special class

As of now, data science in computer science under goverment is available here. That's the main thing attracted. Academics wise this is one of the best colleges you can choose. Regular classes, assignments, tests alll which can empower our academics. If we lost touch then its hard to recover as well.

The placements in MIT are not that good, out of thousands of students only handful students gets placed every year for which high cgpa is required (usually more than 9). Most students try to acquire internships through connections and referrals which is still quite hard to get if you are a bachelor from another state

The faculty to student ratio of our college is about 1:40 on an average which mean that there is moderate attention in class yet the backbenches are usually ignored, the faculty is moderately qualified and speaks English well, but some concept cannot be taught due to language barrier and accent

Teachers in university are very well qualified and they teachs the concept very well. They are very coprative and coprates with students . They are experienced enough to teach the concept in that way in which students can understand anything.

The course is designed to be student adaptive and gives student a chance to explore themselves to this . The course helps one person to be knowledgeable about medicine and cosmetics in advance manner. Just a slight change is suggested in the terms of project work time period. The exam timing and the frequency are okay and students if studied can easily pass it.

Their are major two events taken place every year Aarambh and Vishwayaan . This events are very thoughtful and gives students a chance to open to new adventure and things which they can explore. This includes Bollywood day , flea market , traditional day.

So,the curriculum designed by VIT is very good and the teachers are some what supportive in helping the students in respective subjects or courses actually the courses are taken on credit system one can take max of 27 credits for each sem and for CSE for 4 years one should complete some 160 credits to get the college certificate

Overall campus life is good and also hostels here we are having clubs and chapters in which we can join and participate it is just like we can accomodat3 to office environment and yearly there will be two main fests one is rivers and gravitas. Gravitas is a technical fest.

The yearly free for an genral student is 74500 rupees per semester and if we talk about the mess and hostel fee it's 55000 rupees per year For academic fee there is fee remeson for economically weaker section. Who is having less than one lack income per year get full fee off.

It depends upon the student if he'll study amd able to crack the placement exams then he'll get the placement otherwise not. The college provides good opportunities to all the students. Different companies from various domains visited our college to hire students for good roles. Overall, the placement office coordinates in an excellent way to get students placed. The entire batch was placed excluding those who opted out of the process for higher studies or who never took their life seriously.

College campus is small but beautiful and Campus life is good.College fest is awesome and clubs for dance, drama, tech and semi conductors helped gain some level practial knowledge. overall you'll enjoy if you'll abke to make few friends or else it'll just a normal campus for you

As I said there is great teacher support in our BBA department and good guidance the way of teaching is unique and great Hod is very supportive and humble towards students career and they guide the best way possible for the future and for any doubt they are always there to help

The curriculum focuses on different subjects under psychology, which keeps changing every semester, making the coursework diverse and interesting. The classes are usually about 40-50 minutes, which is appropriate as per usual attention span. Exams are in the form of 2 internal assessments, each carrying 25 marks. 2 other internal assignments (1 carrying 10 and the other 15 marks) are conducted. End semester exam is a 100 mark paper, converted to 50. Exams are evenly spaced and can easily be aced if the student is internally well motivated.

Since the class strength is about 50, faculty to student ratio is appropriate, meaning the teachers are aware of each of the students and ensure personal attention to everyone. We are free to converse with them whenever required and they provide appropriate help. The mbbs curriculum in India is quite tiresome and not at all like the curriculum that you see in the foreign Medical colleges.The schedule is too tight and frankly there is not a free time to indulge in personal hobbies , so if you are opting this course just keep in mind that till the end of this course , all you have time for is academics and if at all , some free time to spend .

The faculties are all mbbs graduates and graduates and experts in their field. The student to faculty ratio is also apt for providing the required assistance in academics and every other thing. We even have a mentorship program in which the mentor helps us with anything and everything thereby reducing the stress faced.

The fee is below 25000 per year it is the tution fee only apart from that we need to spend around 1 lakh for purchasing instruments for five years all other materials are provided form the college itself that is very good thing. The instruments we spent money on are worth it

I am having my best campus life . Academics are going strong on one side along with that there are many other programs in the campus both arts and sports and many seminars and conventions .all classrooms are air-conditioned there is an auditorium hall for functions.

In our college building we have a fest called HOONER in december but there are other fests in the campus aswell nearly 7-8 in months OCT-March The library is highly equipped with books and reading material its 10/10 There is not much technological provisons we just have a projector and a board along with wifi Somaiya is known for its sports outlook. My course is bcom and the reason i took this course is that this course is an umbrella course after graduation you have many options to take further education or work. This curriculum has a wide range of subjects from economics evs maths accounts to communication so it does prepare you for the real world. An area of improvement can be updated teaching methods which makes our brain work because from 8th we are studying and giving exams in the same pattern. The exam happens twice every year.

Not much internship opportunities are available. There are few companies which come such as ACC cement, ultra tech , TCS , azim Prem ji foundation, Gandhi fellowship where students work for social welfare schemes to apply the knowledge of social sciences to social welfare.

1: 30 All the faculties are PHD and have years of experience in teaching and research. Some of our professors have earned foreign University fellowship and worked their for years . They have many consulting projects and published papers in esteemed peer review journals.

The teaching faculty was good enough and educated enough except for a few. some are really good and well educated with masters and pursuing phd degrees and some are actual professors. the directors and the core community of college is really good and understanding and address most of the issues of students.

The fee is very low compared to other colleges offering similar courses and students get a chance to win government scholarships. financial assistance is also provided by Delhi govt. sometimes. and, I really think the University needs to work on placements

The only reason to choose this course is coding and love with tech. I personally prepare my for real world with help of teachers and internet.I thing every thing is perfect in teaching methods but if they teach us with today's use platform like vs code is better to use than turbo c. Examination timing is enough to do all question.

Faculty are four in number.But number of student in bca only is above 200.They also handle IT and Cs student.Teaching style is very good.I personally understand their words very nicely.we can interact with our teacher in class as well as after leisure time also.
