Last year 92% students get placed form our college in companies like cognizant, PWC, Capgemini, jio, Airtel, TCS etc. But this year due to recession only 51% students are placed till 31st March. My plan is to do Higher studies after my BTech.
I'm Ashutosh from Electronics and Communication Engineering 2nd yr. I'm from Bihar. I have taken admission through west Bengal joint entrance exam. Faculties are very helpful and supportive. They will help you when you ask anything.
Annual day is celebrating once in 4 years. And there will be a technical fest held around March- April every year. In each semester a traditional day is conducted. Also festivals such as Holi, bathukkamma, New year, Christmas, etc are celebrated. There are cultural clubs of different branches, not many . And very few technical clubs. Every year college encourages and trains students to participate in inter sports competition held between colleges. Classrooms are provided with the projectors, only in March and April there is a lot of heat. Coming to library, there is a book bank facility which charges 5000 , paid only once. Here students do get all the books required for the semester at once which has no time limit to return until the semester ends. Others can take the books for 15 days. Other competitive books such as RRB, GATE, SSC etc are also provided in the library. Journals and other novels and books are also provided. Also there is a mini digital library too.
There are faculty who are really good at Technical knowledge and are currently or already done their PhD. Approaching them for any guidance and other internship opportunity will provide wider opportunities. For about each 20 students, a mentor is assigned and thus a class has 3 mentors. On top of this a class incharge will be there. The faculty is very approachable and can meet them anytime in the staff room. On the other side there is a bunch of faculty who are not so proficient with their technical knowledge and had no idea of the subject. But if the problem is taken to HOD , their will surely look into it. There is a P.E.T mam too.
Many annual events are conducted such as Pharmacy week, Universumm, Ammunation, vadudev kutumbhkam etc. any student can participate in any event after giving an audition. Sports events are conducted such as cricket tournament, badminton, volleyball etc. Clubs such as literary club, ekam bhangra club, drishti club(photography) are run by students. MM college of pharmacy provides a library with all the books.name an author and you'll find his/her book there.
Curriculum of doctor of pharmacy is appropriate and accurate. Major aspects are pharmacology and clinical subjects. Also, practicals are conducted on regular basis. so it is beneficial for students for better learning. not only this but curriculum prepares you to face real life challenges when you reach 6th year. The challenges to be faced at the time of internship are not a piece of cake. but students of MMCP are ready to face it.
Speaking overall the infrastructure is not that great and campus is also not that big where you can enjoy but If you are living in a hostel then you are definitely going to enjoy your college life I joined this college got a bit disappointment but hostel is not giving any disappointment. If you are a sport person then it's best for you they even pay you for playing for college which is pretty great. There are also lot of tech clubs communication clubs Human values club but I don't think it will help you alot they do give you certificates but I don't find them useful but it's all upto you.
I was really fascinated with computers that's why I took this course let me be honest with you in college they do teach you how to code and different languages but they won't be really effective that's why you have to grind on your own do different and different courses take part in tech competitions. In this college they take 3 midterm then there is a semester exam I think they take one exam every month.
Our college celebration every festival of odisha and particular department also celebrate there own functions and we have auditorium to conduct big functions. Regarding books every semester we get books and e- library also available. Sports academy also there for indoor and outdoor.
I choose this course because of my commerce background and government college with less courses fees . This a five year course which help to get seat in 4th year which is MBA. The exam are easy and not that tough to answer them because everything is taught in the classroom.
I really didn't think much before choosing CS here because it is the stream with the highest package so parents encouraged me to join hence I joined. But after joining I came to realize that the curriculum is pretty interesting as well as intensive. The curriculum covers all the fundamental subjects such as Architecture , OS,DBMS,CN and DSA and labs which prepare us by training us not only the basic theory part but also how they are applied. Not only this some professors even assign us projects during labs and these help us to apply whatever we learned and also enable us learn new things on our own.Although the curriculum is great , but still it would have been better if some of the subjects such as AI would have labs associated with them as in such subjects practical knowlegde is as important as theory. The exams in CS stream are tough. The exams happen twice in a semester, one mid sem and one end sem for each subject. The questions are mostly theoritical so memorising is important.
The annual cultural and technical fests are Aarohan and Recstacy. They are both held in around March and April every year. The campus is huge and is about 187 acres and is very beautiful. There scenic beauty is beyond words specially around sunset. I personally did not join any clubs but clubs are a great place for pursuing your interests and building bonds with fellow mates, seniors and juniors.Their are many sport facilities available starting from cricket, football , basketball, taekwondo, chess and many more. The library is also huge with books for every subject present . The infrastructure for the labs are good but for some departments the labs are a bit outdated. Overall it is a wonderful experience.
Placements are going very well. Every year many companies visit here and maximum students get placed. The training for placement starts from 3rd year so students who have skills get placed easily as they train the students very well in all means.Highest package is 12LPA and lowest is 3.5LPA. My plans are to continue Higher studies through gate exam
Intership opportunities are provided through start up companies in college business incubator and through outside companies. Students who have skills get opportunities. Projects are very well encouraged and great projects are even forwarded for patent and copyrights .Project is must over here as it adds value to resume
There are so much of things to explore and get experience here. In my opinion JNU gives you better environment, better teaching process and one of the best facilities in India. Campus Life is very cheerful here because of its foundation. The way JNU has constantly developed its living culture is really appreciated. There are disappointment in some of the area such as there is no proper functioning of cultural club, no sports facilities are available, old infrastructure of the hostels . It lack in terms of infrastructure but it gives you the best in terms of freedom, social life, in terms of growth. There are so many student organisation in this Campus too who stand for the students right. Which is really good in this democratic World. There is one of the best library here of 9 floor . And there are enormous number of books available and it is easily being issued if you are a student in this University. Library is open for 24h for self study. So in my opinion this is one of the best.
The courses they offer are very valuable and has good future. I chose the courses here because of its reputation of faculty. Teaching method are very fair to the students. They teaches from basics which is the best things for any students . Professors supports evey students and always treats as equal to every students. Exam pattern are some difficult here . And timing and gap between exams are stressful sometimes. So this needs to be improved. every courses here has one of the best faculty. And most of the faculties here are JNU alumini so it's more better in terms of understanding the students here. Masters in this University are great to have because it provides best facilities in India.
TBH during covid very few companies came up for the internship still some of them like IOCL and NFL offered for the internship. IOCL being in Online mode and NFL being in on site internship. Otherwise big companies do come internship drive as well.
Courses and curriculum are on par with todays world. Very relevant and brief which can be applied in real world. Ofcourse this was related to core subjects rest as per Aicte standards subjects additional subjects are added.
1. Practical and theoretical knowledge of accounting, I like accounting so I choose it. 2.our curriculum will help us in our further education like character accountant, MBA ect. 3.they can involve more practical knowledge as well as provide some task on syllabus. 4. It's good they ask as per the syllabus and also give enough time.
1. 1: 50. Ya it helps us. Become faculty to students ratio is good and it also helps in increasing our knowledge 2. Good faculty are very supportive and they focus on each and every student, and give assignment accordingly to students capabilities. 3. We can easily interact with faculty, there is no rules and regulations to meet the.
Campus life is also quit good. Their are interesting tech fests organised and dancing programs such as Navodaya fest is organised in which top DJ's are welcomed and also celebrities comes every year to promote thier movies.
I will rate my course that is BCA the best course over btech beacuse in my course the we are provided with all the technologies which are taught to btech students in specific department so I would say my course is better.
The faculty members of the college is good and undatstanding in nature one was there hod prateek sir who was fabulous to ensure every studenet is recinvg equal reights and palcenmt cell elwas also good they are understanding
The campus life of college is not God as a student think that he will get full enjoy if that as the campus was too small and there are limited no of extra circular activities that have been done so it hink it's average
So for taking admission in cu you need to give their own enterence exam which is cucet and you need to qualify the exam and congratulations you are student at cu. The fees changes every year with new batch so the fees is not fixed you will get scholarship according to your performance in the cucet. The campus employment ratio is also good as every year many get placed from the campus and do jobs in good companies.
The college life at cu is just wow. You get everything you need the clubs, sports, campus life, size of campus, beauty of campus. You get multiple clubs which is related to your course or related to your co-caricular activities. There are various sports in cu with good ground. Events are there where you can take part and enjoy.
The list of clubs in the university is exhaustive. There are clubs for almost all kinds of people focusing on different interests. The annual fests of each club are held throughout the year. There would be an event going on every 15 days or less in the university which you can attend. The technology institute has been implied with lot of restrictions for conducting events, that is the club's of technology institute are not allowed much. There is a branch club for every branch and also some institute level clubs and many different institute clubs. One such club is MESA, mechanical engineers students association, which is one very popular club in the university.
The students become eligible for placements from the final year that is from the 7th semester itself. The companies make offer of internship+PPO to the students as the 8th semester is internship based. The top companies visiting in our branch are TATA, Worley, Schneider Electric, HUL, etc. The top package offered was 13LPA in the last year while the average package was about 5LPA. 95% students were placed and some students also received more than 1 offers. Speaking about me, I am planning to take the placement if I am offered a decent package and a desired role and then go for masters after 1 or 2 years.
Every year in our college renessiance of Aliah managed a big fest for the freshers students. And every department individually give a fresher party to their freshers students. And the college will makes an arrangement for a 21 days innovation programme for the freshers students. Library in our college is very good. Fully AC library maintained by top professor. There is a seperate building for library contain 3 floor with PC's. There is almost 25000+ books in library. Classrooms are well maintained and clean. There are almost 12-14 lifts available in college for students and professors. Mostly all sports are available and played by students in campus. Greenful campus filled with many trees. Many social exhibition , science exhibition, seminars occurs every month.
The placements at ALIAH UNIVERSITY is average to good. Students are eligible from 7th semester for campus placements. Top companies such as Amazon India, TCS DIGITAL, TCS NINJA, Capgemini, Candor IT, Capsitech IT Services, Pinnacle Infotech, Housiey, Lumino industries, Intellipaat Software are visited in our college and give top roles such as HR executive, BDA, GET, VCS, Relationship Manager, LINE INSP-QAQC, System Engineer etc. to the students of Aliah University every year on campus. Last year in 2023 the highest package in our college is 50 LPA & the average package is 4-5 LPA. Almost 70-80% students gets placed in every year from our college. My plans after getting the degree is GATE EXAM & get a good rank in exam.
The aspect and career opportunities are quite wide in this course that's the reason I chose the stream. The curriculum is now again changed and built according to the newer technological advancements and the inclusion of AI or artificial intelligence in medicine is enhanced. The one to one interaction among the teachers and students is a bit lacking I think, that should be improved. There are 3 internal assessments and one University exam for every year, they are of moderate to difficult level.
In Goverment Medical College the fees is quite low. The annual fees is near about 6125/- including all the tuition fees and service fees. Only you have to provide additional charges for manual fests which is nearly 2500/- per year. Ther are immense scholarship opportunities and financial support from government for economically weaker sections.
Every year there occurs a annual fest named madhuram . And a technical fest names techfest. There's a central Library which provides us almost every needed books including our subject related books and some extras such as journal, global liked books. There are different classes, some are normal classes while some are smart classes. In Normal classes there is board, fans, lights and table. While the smart classes includes air conditioner, smart board, modern table, projecters. There are different types of clubs that are run by students and funded by college. Clubs are divided for different occasions. In terms of sports, college performs well . Teams are divided for each sports.
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate. As I am btech student now, earlier I have completed my diploma from Sliet only. There is no disturbance in learning due to ratio of faculty to students. If there is a problem to me or any student in any topic so the students can contact to teacher, so teacher will tell at what time he/she can interact with teacher. Students can interact with teachers in working time only. Some teachers allowed us to contact them at anytime for queries.
Placements are pretty good for all branches in BTECH with a median salary offering of 22 lpa for CSE and 19lps for ece branch. Students are eligible for cmapus placements from start of 4th year.over 90% of students do get placed if not for recession

The course curriculum is very well structured almost every course is pre requisite for next upcoming course.the curriculum is structured in such a way that it covers all the concepts or subjects that requires to get a job. And examinations will be conducted regularly like the time between two exams will be like one or one and half month and the difficulty level is moderate to difficult
