Overall experience in IIT kanpur is magnificent there are lots of extra-curricular activities which students can indulge themselves in. There are three types of councils SNT, MNC, GNS these are for science and technology, media and culture, games and sports respectively. There are wide range of clubs teams and societies in the campus. Talking about the IIT k fests there are three fests Antaragani(October) ,Udghosh ( September) and techkriti (March ) which are cultural l, sports and technical and entrepreneurial fests in the campus

Tuition is fixed for a semester which is 100000/- and we have to pay hostel charges we comes around 18000/- per semester and we have to pay for mess per month which approx comes around 3-4K. Also there are lots of scholarship like Mcm, inspire, fbm and also tuition fees reduction on the basis of parental income like if parents income is less than 600000/- then tuition fees gets reduced to 33000/- per semester

From 7th semester students will be eligible for campus placement Many top companies visited this year and more than 1200 offers made this year till now. As the college doesn't have any campus but the University has quite a large campus, has good opportunities for sports and you can experience other courses of Delhi University so it's good to be admission to it. The books are there in the college library.

I liked the faculty and faculty teaching methods . They were so engaging and interacting with the students . Every faculty member is highly education with a doctorate degree. And their teaching methods were also unique and so good.

Every semester fees was 50k +per semester though it was govt. college but the fees was high . I haven't undertaken any employement .Only once we get a opportunity to work in non-profit organisation I am not aware of scholarships for general category for reserve category there were. We have incubation centre where students can work on their ideas and products

-Our college provide dual degree specializations So, we get chance to read about 2 specializations I am from HR & Marketing. Not much but whatever I have learnt in HR somehow I have knowledge in practical field as well -Exams happened bit early specially during 2nd semesters sometimes we need more time

Tution this basically divided in three categories less than 1 lakh, between 1 lakh to 5 lakh, more than 5 lakh, and for dasa students. And about their eligibility as well. Most of the students in my contact have recently awarded with scholarship which really helped them in their academics. There is same amount of hostel and mess fees for every student. As I am still a first year student I have not undertaken under interview for job and internship. The complete cost of my education, service fees, mess fees, hostel fees and other compulsory charges will be around 3.5 lakh per year.

Civil engineering is a core branch of engineering which influenced me to take this course. A great infrastructure defines the development of a country. In first year itself they start teaching civil engineering in first year itself you get to know about lots of various application in first year itself. Labs of civil engineering are quite well developed that prepares for real world application. More faculty of civil engineering are needed. As one faculty teaches more than one subject. Exams are held within a week, once everyday which is okay to be ready for another one exam but not providing a week preparation holiday is quite hectic.

The faculty to student ratio is about 1: 15, it really helps us to interact with our teachers, personal experiences was shared, and also it helps to broden our scopes of thinking. The approach of teaching was very nice and was including different methods, like classroom open discussions, which helped us to put our thoughts forward without hesitations.We used to interact very frequently with our teachers

The fees are very low, about 8000 rupees, per year, and also has different scholarships available for different groups. The campus was not providing any job roles, but it was helping us to build our proviles, and placement office, to prepare for interviews.

So I chose this course in order to get knowlegde in that particular field and specifically in laboratories . However it was lockdown due to covid which is why in very first year i was not able to enjoy my college life but in the last year itself i got a chance to attend college as luckily the lockdown ended. My course and curriculum prepared me very well for the real world application as i am a bit enthusiast in studying chemicals and science. Although our labs were little under constructed but overall experience was too good , from conducting experiments to applying them in real world application.

On campus employement was provided to very few students who were actually in the top list. Fortunately I got an internship in a non-profit organization as a content writer and human resource operations manager. My course is very unique as BBA(Capital Market) contains knowledge in stock exchange sectors it includes knowledge about Mutual Funds, Stocks, Government Bonds and Securities etc. This course is very useful for financial purposes and the students can do much more things than a normal Bba student can do.

Internship is available here in 2nd year and university helps students in their internships. Students complete their project given by the company which helps in skill enhancement of the student. Companies like Motilal Oswal, Zerodha etc are here for internships.

It's kinda lit tbh. There is an annual tech fest - Innova, it's good. The tech fest - Engifest is lit with money flowing in form sponsorships and the whole college looks like disney land and it's 3 days of amazing festivities with great renowned artists coming in day after dat. Libraray is good. Lot's of clubs, everything under the soon.
