MAH CET Result 2019, Dates, Steps, Scorecard

MAH CET Result: DTE will announce the results for MAH CET 2019 on March 31. Visit the official portal of DTE Maharashtra ( to check and download your scorecards. 

Last year, the highest pecentage for MAH CET was 82.5% and the exam had witnessed 92.6% attendance. This year, the exam is scheduled for March 9 and 10 in online (CBT) mode.

Latest: The last date to apply online is February 15. Register now!

  • Post declaration of results a merit list will be prepared and selected candidates shall be called for counselling. Check MAH CET Cutoff
  • Once the candidates will get their documents verified, a merit score card will be generated by State CET cell on the basis of test scores, work experience and academics.
  • MAH CET 2019 seat allotment shall be made on the basis of merit scores.

How to download MAH CET Results 2019?

Candidates who appeared for the exam can follow the steps to check their scores:

Step 1: Visit the official website of DTE Maharashtra (

Step 2: You will be redirected to DTE Maharashtra MBA Results page

Step 3: Click on ‘Click Here for MBA 2019 Result’ link.

Step 4: A PDF file will appear, use the shortcut key and enter your registration no./ roll no./ name and search for your results.

Step 5: Take a printout of the same and save it for future reference.

MAH CET Scorecard

As there is no provision for sending the scorecards through post or any other offline method, so it is mandatory for candidates to download the document from the official website. Candidates must keep the score card handy as it will be required during counselling.

How is MAH CET Result Computed?

  • One mark will be awarded for one correct answer.
  • There will be no negative marking.
  • The scores obtained in the exam will be equated to the base form by distribution of scores of all forms.
  • The final score on total will be reported by decimal points up to two digits.

What after the announcement of MAH CET Result?

After the declaration of MAH CET results, the shortlisted candidates will be called for the counselling process. Clearing this exam, candidates can apply in various around 400 MBA colleges in Maharashtra including JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA, K J Somaiya, N L Dalmiya, DSIMS, Dy Patil and other 400.

MAH CET 2019 Merit List

Candidates shall be shortlisted on the basis of cut-off. Merit list will be released according to the scores obtained the candidates. Candidates whose names will be on the merit list(s) shall be eligible to proceed for the admission process.

The merit list has two phases:

  • Provisional Merit List: This list will be declared as soon as MAH CET 2019 counselling ends. However, this list does not confirm the admission of candidates, the candidates must wait for the final merit list.
  • Final Merit List: This list is prepared on the basis of DTE MBA counselling. Candidates whose names will be on the final merit list shall be eligible to seek admission to various colleges.
  • Merit list will be covering all of the candidatures: Maharashtra State Candidature, All India Candidature and Jammu and Kashmir Migrant seats.

If two candidates will be having the same overall score and percentile, then the priority sequence for candidates under Maharashtra State Candidates while preparing the merit list will be made as follows:

  • Candidates with higher percentage of marks in 12th grade will be placed higher in MAH CET merit list.
  • Percentage of marks in 10th board exams shall also be considered.
  • Candidates with higher percentage of marks in 10th boards exam shall be placed higher in MAH CET merit list.

Merit list for All India Candidature Candidates shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in CET.

The merit list for all candidates shall be made in the following order of preference:

  1. Higher percentage of marks in HSC
  2. Higher percentage of marks in SSC
  3. Higher percentage of marks in SSC
  4. Higher marks in Mathematics subject in SSC

Assigning of merit number by CAP – 

Candidates who have submitted Application Form for admission through CAP before the deadline shall be assigned a merit number. If the marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying exams are modified due to verification then, they must report to the Competent Authority for Admission before 5 p.m on the day of display of final merit.

Highlights of MAH CET Counselling

Post declaration of results, counselling rounds will be conducted. Candidates shall be ranked according to the marks obtained and then, they will be alloted respective institutes. The final list of selected candidates shall be released on final completion of counselling rounds and will be declared in different stages.

  • The CAP rounds will have four rounds of counselling.
  • The fourth round will most probably be conducted for eligible Maharashtra State candidates.

Through Centralized admission process, the candidate can apply to two year full-time courses that are listed below:

  • Post Graduate Diploma Course in Management
  • Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Management Studies
  • Post Graduate Diploma Course in Business Management

MAH CET Counselling Fee and Payment

  • The seat acceptance for general category candidates shall be INR 1000.
  • The seat acceptance fee for Reserved category candidates shall be INR 800.
  • The seat acceptance fee for NRI/OCI/PIO and foreign nationals shall be INR 5000.
  • Registration fee to participate in MAH CET counselling can be paid online using Debit Card/Credit Card.

General Instructions

  • Applicants shall take the test in more than one session if some technical disruption takes place.
  • If the claims made by the candidate stand incorrect at any stage then, the candidate will be disqualified from the entire admission session.
