Candidates are advised not to think that attempting all questions of a section on which they have an extra hold will help them qualify the exam, since the paper is time based. The section of Logical Reasoning checks a candidate’s skill to interpret pattern, sequence, relations and shapes. This section contains the highest number of questions. Level of this section cannot be termed as easy. Around 15 questions can be expected of an easy level; the remaining section difficulty level is from moderate to difficult.

The section of Abstract Reasoning checks the candidate’s skill to interpret patterns, sequences, relations and shapes at a complex and intangible level. This section contains less number of questions.

|Wrong Figures/ Odd One Out||You are given 5 figures, in which you have to observe the pattern and then find the odd one out.|
|Analogies||You have to identify the relationship between two figures and then choose the option that carry the same relationship|
The section of Verbal Ability checks the candidate’s ability in word power, analogies, sentence correction and verbal reasoning. MAH CET Syllabus: Quantitative Aptitude
The section of Quantitative Aptitude checks the candidate’s ability to calculate the numerical ability and accuracy in mathematical calculations. Candidates can check the syllabus given below to prepare well.

We have devised a plan to help students who are planning to appear for MAH CET. It is a simple plan of number of questions that needs to be attempted in a particular sections and what time should be allotted to attempt that section. This plan is based on average performance of students to get high scores. However, a lot also depends upon personal abilities.
Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretations and Data Sufficiency- To score well, maximum time that should be allotted to this section is 40 mins. Within this time frame, a candidate should make an attempt of more than 35 questions.
Anlaytical and Logical Reasoning- Since the section comprises of topics that can prove to be game changers, the maximum time allotted should be 60 mins and a good attempt will be of more than 50 questions out of 75.
Abstract Reasoning- The optimum time a candidate should invest in this section is 15 minutes and an attempt of more than 15 question will be considered good.
General English- Since this section contains questions that can be attempted by all (except for few vocabulary questions), an overall attempt of this section is termed right. The maximum time that should be invested in this section is 35 minutes.

Ques. Does MAH CET involve any sectional limit?
Ans. There’s no sectional limit in MAH CET. Candidates will be given 150 minutes to attempt 200 questions in total.

Ans. The advantage of MAH CET in comparison to other management entrance tests is that it has no provision of any negative marking.
