Average SAT scores for Indian students

The Indian average SAT score depends on the rank of the university that you are applying to and the amount of aid you need. Also, it depends on what your high School profile looks like.

The average SAT score for Harvard, average SAT score UChicago, average SAT score for Yale, and more depends on both the average score and the academic scores.

On average, candidates with 75% or higher SAT score, get selected for their graduate courses in their desired universities. So, targeting SAT 75% or higher will be a great idea here.

*The article might have information for the previous academic years, which will be updated soon subject to the notification issued by the University/College.

A
abdul nazir

Hi Gouri, No you just need to qualify the SAT test for admission to different Universities in English speaking countries. Once the score card or result is out, the same needs to be sent to the selected 4 Universities usually directly from the college board. There is no fee to send the result to maximum 4 Universities, however you need to pay additional fee in case of additional Universities. Find more details at SAT 2021 exam.

Is Average score higher than mean score?
R
rakhisree chatterjee

Hi, Generally, Critical Reading (now just called Reading on the redesigned SAT) has taken an overall decline, whereas the Math score has risen slightly over time. There are of course small fluctuations throughout the years, but the overall trend is clear. For more information, please refer, SAT Exam.

Is 1250 a good SAT score?
R
rakhisree chatterjee

Hi, A 1250 ranks approximately at the 81st percentile, meaning that you performed better on the exam than three-quarters of all students nationwide. With a score of 1250, you'll be able to apply to just about every college or university and this score will be competitive for admission to the vast majority of them.
