Fees and Financial Aid

For this four year course, the fee that i am paying is quite reasonable, keeping the facilities and opportunities in mind. JSJC has a world class infrastructure, including state of the art film studio, radio and TV studio, and access to all kinds of filming and editing equipment. The tuition, residential and allied charges are clearly mentioned in the brochures. There are no other hidden costs. This also takes care of food, laundry, and access to some of the best sports facilities, trainers, and an Olympic size swimming pool. Moreover, JGU provides many scholarship opportunities based on merit and means. Those candidates who score well in Class 12 are eligible to apply for a scholarship with proof of parental income, which definitely cuts down my tuition fees substantially for many.

Campus Life

Being a part of such an active college environment is one of the things that makes me enjoy JGU. Apart from my media courses, I actively take part in university festivals, cultural activities, and student organizations, from debate to photography. The Naveen Jindal Sports Academy provides some of the best sports facilities where i indulge in playing badminton and football in the evenings. With regular international speakers, media summits, and film screening activities organized at the university, students social lives remain engaging all throughout the year.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum included molecular biology, bioprocessing, and hands-on lab work were very inspiring and led me to chose this course. The diverse subjects dealt with in each semester were very helpful for real-world applications. The course gave me dependable laboartory skills such as analtocal methods, careful docuentation . These helped during my internships in chennai and also helped me in my job role . Beyond technical knoweldge, the programme built analytical thinking, attention to detail, report writting, time management, and teamwork through group projects and assignments . I would suggest industry -oriented electives such as in quality arrurance, drug development, and regulatory basics would help students see the career paths open to them and also Structured internships - based on credits internships and industry projects more avaible for the studnets to work on real time projects and this would give every student a fair chance at real-world experience.

Campus Life

Minecraft in February of every year Every semester, they celebrate Founders' Day in the month of October. Annual Day is celebrated in the month of December International conferences are conducted during each semester. The library has a good collection of books and journals in multiple copies that are curriculum-friendly. I never felt difficulty getting my books of interest at any point in time. The classrooms are well furnished with comfortable tables and chairs, desks, cupboards, fans, and lights. The classrooms are provided with digital boards, which give a good perspective and visual of the material that is displayed on them. The campus is equipped with play areas for football, badminton, table tennis, cricket, throwball, volleyball, athletic relays etc. Extracurricular activities clubs like Music, Rotary, Dance, Drama, and NCC are very active in the campus.

This course is a wide range focused course. It doesn't focus on just one area lile service sector but it also focuses on many areas like service sector, marketing, business etc It let's us know about the industry. It prepares us well for the industry. Some improvements...site visits required. The exams are of good level if you study well

Faculty

My faculty is very kind and helpful. The best faculties are Monu ma'am, Atin sir and Kishna sir. There is no such faculty that I don't like...just a lil hit of improvement is required with their consideration. The exams take place in an order, sessionals and then end sem exams.

Faculty

Amity's faculty are very friendly and helpful they are present on and off working hours to help their students, i like my every faculty because of their examplary academic teaching skills and different ways of teaching to make things understandable and easier for students, and talking about exam patterns amity follow a single same system for conducting the exams for each semester. Their are one sessional of 10-15 marks ( sometimes faculty can take 2 sessional if required) ,10 marks assignment,1-5 marks attendance which is completely based on you , how many you take classes , if you have 100 % attendance you get 5 full marks. And at the end of the semester their would be final exams of 70 marks which are moderately hard but scoring too.

Campus Life

Amity University is full of extra co curriculum activities like different club buildings like dancing clubs ( eg bhangar rifles, jhankar)and drama clubs ( eg ek awaz), in each semester we celebrate different festivals, some are celebrated annually like amifest, remembering historical figures, garba nights, republic day prade, independence day celebration, flag hosting while some are celebrated each semester like night dance, group activities ,these are fully student run clubs and activities with the help of amity staff.

The overall experience is okay the campus is lush green , the campus is very beautiful, the infrastructure is very good, books are easily available in the library and can be issued easily, there are technological provisions are provided such as we have projector facilities within the classes for presentation through which the facilities teachers us , if we talk about students led clubs they are not very nice as there are internal clashes within the club members with the students based on there seniority the seniors are not very polite with the juniors they mix there personal opinions with the professionality of the clubs .

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee for the course that we pay is 250000, college security 150000,part from this I pay 244000 , hostel security money 10000,beside this I haven't gotten any scholarship yet but based on my cgpa I will be allotted from next semester , someone of my batchmates have been given scholarship based on there percentage as I was unaware so i didn't apply.

Faculty

The professors here are super approachable and friendly, with a solid faculty-to-student ratio where you can easily reach out for help. Teachers like Dr. Amit and Prof. Sharma are amazing because they focus on real-world examples rather than just books. On the flip side, a few professors can be a bit too strict with attendance and submission deadlines. We have mid-terms and end-term exams each semester—they aren't overly tough if you follow the lectures, so hard fails are pretty rare. Overall, the course structure feels quite relevant and industry-focused.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course mainly because its syllabus covers practical financial concepts and industry trends rather than just old theories. It actually does a great job prepping us for real-world corporate roles through presentations and case studies. If there's one thing to improve, it would be adding more hands-on software training or internships into the core semesters. As for exams, we have mid-terms and end-terms regularly; they can feel a bit hectic timewise, but the difficulty level is manageable if you keep up with your studies.

Faculty

A faculties are very good a course structure is first semester we have to pay around 1 lakh rupees and after years 5000 increases exam system is ok but the problem is that that many many 75% criteria is very haptic and very complex because we have to get 75% attendance in every subject if you didn't give 75% attend we will get debarred

Campus Life

I took admission here because I know this is far from the city and I will cut a really nice experience in the night and I will I didn't like the noise of traffic pollution so I am far from the despections and college life is really good but the socializing is to complex for me because I am new here

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is 1:60. They are all very friendly and get along with this. They not only teach but also guide us to opportunities in research and talk about very scope lies. Our Hod sir Dr.Cloudin always keep encouraging the students and played a very important role in turning the CSE dept into a student driven community. Heeds to all the students' ideas and makes the best out of them. From the execution of IIS, IET challenge to Leetcode summercamp program evrything was planned and executed thoroughly under the guidance of our Hod sir. I am a OB member in the main Club behind these event's execution. So I can genuinely say he is such a wonderful leader. Then Our class Co Jenifer Prince mam. She was the one who encouraged us and also contributed in making our first IP idea. She gives the nudge to do things out of the ordinary. Really love her for that. Two internal exams called CAT and unit test for some subjects with a specific code. Apart front hat we have other split ups for internals including Group presenation and assignment etc.The SEM is slightly tough but manageable with enough preparation

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is designed with more focus on industry experience and education. Teachers have enough industry knowledge themselves and give us good idea about scope of a field and it's problems. Regular sessions are conducted to give the students a real taste of industry world. Recently we had our Industry Summit, where more than 15 industry experts visited our campus and gave amazing insights to us about the current job market and its future. It was heavily based on AI and we learnt a lot. The curriculum could use more of Hands on activites apart from Labs. (Like simulation, geogebra etc...) in which way we could understand it more clearly. Internal exams and SEM are a month apart in the whole duration of the sem. The SEM starts slow but ends quick with practicals and SEM exam coming right after each other. But the exam is manageable with enough preparation and enough attention paid in classes.

The total fees for the 2 year course was 12.5 lakhs but i got a scholarship of 4 lakhs as i scored above 90 percentile in XAT exam. The average package here is also around 12 lakhs. So overall it provides a good ROI and is a great option as it is lead by IIMA alumnis.

Placement Experience

A lot of companies from different domains come for providing internships as well as for placements and there are also international placements with a superb package which is a key advantage for students seeking international exposure.

Faculty

According to my own experience, the faculty to student relationship is very good. Though all the faculties in my department are good, but my mentor- Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Rana stands out. She's undoubtedly one of the finest people I've ever come across. Apart from her, Dr. Manoj Kumar, Dr. Rusha Mudgal and Prof. (Dr.) Esha Jainiti are all very very supportive and are always there for students. There are 2 mid term/sessionals conducted, along with an end-sem/final exam. The exams aren't hard, but journalism and mass comm is a field that requires students to apply analytical and critical thinking.

Campus Life

Amifest is Amity's annual fest usually held in jan-feb. It is a 2 day event/fest that offers a great exposure to student, with various institutional activities, club events, competitions, activities, rides, stalls and star night as well. Apart from this, there is Jalsa, i.e the Garba night organised by the dramatic and dance society, during navratri. There are other activities and events as well, organised by insitutions and clubs.

1 lakhs per year, fees by year varies course by course, Psychology has higher fees than my course for example. On admission scholarships are available where you get a certain amount of scholarship according to 12th percentage. 88-90% you get 50% and above 93% you get 100% scholarship. Scholarship criteria also varies course by course. To continue this scholarship, one must maintain a good GPA. Merit cum need is also available for students with lower background incomes which one needs to clarify
