Course Curriculum Overview
I chose political science because of my keen interest in knowing country's governance structure and society more deeply. Our department of political science encourages us to participate in the affairs of the government by holding several events and by inviting different eminent personalties. I think that as of now there is no such need of improvement in the course curriculum but one thing which should be there is the availability of study material in college I guess. About exams, we get enough days to prepare for our exams and the difficulty level is on an average
Internships Opportunities
Yes our college do offer internships but I have noticed this one thing that our faculty supports students in their project completion. I have met so many students who have been doing there internship under the guidance of our teachers.
Fees and Financial Aid
For my course I have paid around 13000 fees in my college. And there is this system in our university that our fees decrease every year by 10%. Also, we get 50% fees back through the financial assistance form provided by our college
Campus Life
Our college organise fests every year for the freshers and gives invite to famous singers also. Our library is one of the top libraries in delhi university because of the collection of the books. There is no such technological provision in classroom. Several sports competitions are also conducted every month.
Admission
Actually after passing my class 12 from jamia millia islamia I gave the CUET UG exam to get into delhi university after studying for 2 years there. Also, my college is one of the top colleges in delhi university so it was my first preference and because of the good score I immediately got admission into it. Talking about admission process, DU provides admission to everyone out there on the basis of there score in CUET exam. Cutoff varies according to the category
Faculty
In my course which is political science we have got the best faculty from our department. I cannot say that I have the best faculty in comparison to other because I haven't explored other yet but still so compassionate and faithful. We have exams after every 6 months like 2 times a year and the pattern is not that tough that students will get fail. I haven't heard any such news yet to be honest. Our teachers are very responsive towards any problem so it's not a matter of concern
Night Life
The college does not provide any hostel facility. There is no gym in the college but we have the best cafeteria in our college with less varieties. There is no such hanngout place inside and outside. I haven't experienced the nightlife yet so can't say
