Campus placement for MGIT was pretty decent while I was passing out. Mostly we saw IT/ ITES majors coming for hiring. Notably among them being Wipro, TCS. We also had a couple of core companies coming onto campus which was a good thing. As mentioned earlier, college was only 6 yrs old when I had joined which might have played into lesser companies coming during final placements.

The exams were aligned centrally to the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and followed a fixed pattern. Having said that the exams usually were conducted in a crammed schedule which made it difficult to prepare for all subjects at once. The lab work was properly organised since it was controller internally with external faculty coming in for monitoring purposes only.

I got admission in this institute by taking the KEAM entrance examinations offered by the Govt. of Kerala. After taking the exams, there was an allotment process similar to all other engineering entrance examinations. We could opt for the best college we like and we will be selected according to our ranks. My first option was MEC.

There are three types of seats available in Model Engineering College. Merit 35000 per year, Management - 65000 per year, NRI - 100000 per year. The merit seats which are received by taking the KEAM entrance examinations are feasible. The NRI seats which are received by the 12th class marks are pretty expensive in my opinion.

There are all sorts of events conducted, ranging from department-level technical symposiums to national level symposiums. Though national level events are just a spoof with just local colleges participating. Cultural programmes are just a bunch of typical Tamil style events, with lots of 'cultural' sociopaths judging the participants on every aspect.

Exam structure is very liberal. all the semester exams follow the same pattern. There will be 12 number of 2 ,arks questions, 5 number of 15 marks and 1 number of 16 mark question. Except for 2 mark questions all others has individual optional question, which in my opinion is very helpful.

The University is ruining everything. The exam period is very hectic. This is because of the useless submissions write-ups) which the teachers doesn't even check out the content but just tick mark blindly. Instead of wasting time writing stuff which doesn't have any meaning and in a race of finding professors to get the signature to complete the submission we could have put those hours into studying and could score good.

No placement for Mechanical Branch yet. I might be wrong but I haven't seen or heard any mechanical student getting placed. Except for one I guess who got placed into Tech Mahindra. A year or two ago. But there were students from the other branches(especially ENTC) who got placed with handsome packages. Also the count of companies is increasing but not in case of mechanical engineering.

The college was one among the fourteen institutions in the state of Karnataka to get the World Bank-aided TEQIP Project Phase-I and utilized a grant of rupees from Nine Crores for improving its infrastructural facilities and enhancing the quality of its academic standards. The institution is also expecting World Bank-aided TEQIP Project Phase-IT to further improve its research and development activities and infrastructure.

The students are actively involved in co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The annual cultural festival "Chaitra" takes place every year, which creates a platform for exhibiting the hidden talents of students. The institution is a member of the Red Cross Society, "Thern".

Courses 1 year - we have fundamental courses,basics of all courses which come under B.tech , 2 year-we enter into our main course there we learn about basics about our course , 3 year- we start learning our course ,we also get various electives , 4 year- one semester we learn about our course and other we have internship where we are taken to the companies.

98% of faculty is from BITS, 2% of faculty from IIT, NIT etc. You all know about faculty who are working in BITS,IIT,NIT who qualified they are ,and those faculty have minimum of 2-3 years work experience in BITS, IIT, NIT etc. They never hesitate to solve our problems, moreover our faculty members are our hostel wardens.

Admission was on basis of class 12 grades. There was no interview or GD conducted though there needs to be a better process. Also once the forms were filled for admission, the first, second and consecutive lists were shared by college in college premises and not on email or website. It did prolong the process. And since college is not in main campus it did take an effort to visit.

All events had good participation but mostly from colleges nearby. For most good events we went to other colleges. There were sports meet, debate competitions too but only handful. The overall culture was ok and didn't really make the college stand out for it. There were not any management festivals hosted in the college.

All the faculties are well educated even some are masters from abroad. The way of teaching of all the faculties are impressive itself. But in engineering you have to study by your own. But in private universities we get a benifit that if we have doubts then we can clear by going to the faculties. This profit is not available in govt. Universities. But we have to study by our own in engineering.

I only gave JEE . When i am in 12 th standard i found only good engineering colleges if you want to do engineering. But after finished my JEE i was in depression. Then some good friend and google advised me to get some fine private colleges. Then according to google bangalore is the best city foe computer engineering. So i took admission via management quota.

Placements is pretty good for a north Indian college almost aa high as vit and above some nits . However off campus placements go much higher almost 20 lakhs for B.tech CSE students. Still on campus placement is pretty good due to extensive alumni in high ranks of organisations.

Course of computer science and engineering first year is the same as the rest of the branches. It is just an extension of all the stuff you studied in 11-12. You won't be using this stuff in future. From second year coding and other stuff comes which may be actually helpful.

The exam structure is good. There are two minor tests and then one major semester exams in the end. In between, there are some online tests, class tests, quizzes, etc. Also there are lab sessions every week and lab exams in the end. There are also tutorial classes every week for tests and are also meant for clearing doubts. In a semester, it seems that there are exams every month and you never get much free time from the exams.

Placements and job opportunities are average only. In CSE branch, almost all students get placed in different companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus are TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte etc. TCS and Infosys take students in bulk at low packages. Deloitte, however offer some good packages but it takes only about 20 students only every year.

I gave the VITEEE entrance exam. I got AIR-16199 rank and I got above 60 percent marks in physics, chemistry, and maths in the 12th boards which is the minimum requirement to study in vit. So when I went for counseling I got a seat in mechanical. I got a seat in category 1 itself with a scholarship of 25000 every year. Then a paid add of 71000 in the counseling. I paid the rest of the fees before joining.

The course curriculum is based on exploring new things and it is a fully flexible credits system based (FFCS) course structure where you get to choose your own subjects in a semester. You can choose your own subjects but you have to complete the core subjects of your branch in 4 years to get a degree. The system is so flexible that you can choose your own slot timings and your own faculty.

You can purchase the form from the college itself form release is generally notified in the end of March which is available for a month no need to worry if your mark sheets isn't available yet you can still buy the form and appear for the entrance exams once you have cleared the entrance you will have to wait for the cut off list on which basis you'll be admitted, Christian students have a reservation of 15%,seats per batch.

The fee structure is something you won't believe starting from just rs 5000 for regular and 10000 for self financed students but don't let the fee fool because the attendance and study is watched very carefully therefore your attendance is mandatory to appear in the exams and yes there is also 10 RE examination fees.

The faculty of my college is very well experienced and the other suitable factors like equipment,infrastructure,affordability, are also good. The faculty itself is sufficient and dependable. The environment of my college and hostel is easily adaptable. The student strength is highly competitive in nature. My college has a spacious library with a plethora of books which is one of the advantages to all the students.

I got admitted in the 4th cut off list as my rank was not that good. You are required to fill the college and course preferences according to your choice and once you are given a course of your choice you can opt for it got admitted in the 4th cut off list as my rank was not that good.

The faculty of NIEC is not something you can brag about as most of them are fresh out of their Masters and have 0 teaching experience but if you ask me that doesn't really matter in b.tech as ultimately you will have to study on your own if you want a good knowledge of your course.

I got good rank ,attended the counselling and later through KCET result I was placed in the college. it took around a month for a admission procedure to complete.

Yes exams and labs were conducted very strictly. It is quite pressure over students but it teaches all students time and resource management at the same time.

I took the entrance examination of GSIPU (indraprastha university) for the BBA course in 2015. The entrance test is conducted in the month June and the aptitude test comprises of Logical reasoning, maths, english and general awareness. I chose this particular course in this university because IP university is one of the oldest and most reputable university in Delhi.

The exams structure is not at all hectic but requires the students to perform good. there is 1 internal of 75 marks each in one semester. This internal exam includes the syllabus of final examination and students are given 2.5-3 hours to complete the test. This internal is generally conducted 1 month before the external examination and students are marked out of 25.

Every faculty holds a PG program, who has well knowledge on their areas of subject and teaching.They do give extra notes and points which lets a candidate to know deeper about the subject. The preparation for exams are also good , that they often conduct tests and open book tests.Also they make students to solve and take lectures often, which increases a student's soft skills.

I wrote SCSVMV's entrance examination and cleared it. Then the university announced that I also have deduction on my academic fee for my entrance score. Then I was asked to visit the college on a particular date with my SSLC and HSC certificates. And after going through all my certificates , they announced that I am eligible to proceed for my admission on this college.

Our college provide excellent placements and job opportunities to students. Lot of MNC companies are come to college and conduct campus drives .lot of students are got jobs in campus interviews. All are nice companies . Our management always try to get good companies to college for campus interviews.lot students gets good jobs and setteled.

Through EAMCET counselling i got admission in this college. First i went for counselling then i select list of colleges.after allotment i got seat in this college.after that with allotment order i went to college and fill the joining form and took admission.

Placement is good. A number of Software companies and Core companies do visit the college. Software giants like TCS, Infosys, Hexagon, Accenture visit college yearly. in total nearly 100 companies come yearly. It is a government college and hence the fees will be very low compared to other colleges. Infact per year my fees was around 7,200 Rs and then some exam fee of around 100 per paper or so was also there. This is very low as compared to some private colleges which ask for around 50 K per year or more. Hence do not even have the slightest worries in fee. Even if you are poor there will be scholarships.

There is 2-semester Exam every year.so all total 8-semester exam in fours year B.tech Course.Each semester exam contained two unit test and five or four lab exam. Lab exam will happen before the final semester exam and of Hundred Marks with two credit point. I know few of you will not get what is this credit point but you will get to know it when you got admission in this college.

I had given West Bengal joint Entrance Exam(WBJEE) and I got 38335 as a rank. It was not good at that time to get an admission in other branches except AEIE. So,I choose this branch as my destiny and currently I am enjoying it. The main Reason for choosing this college is that it is closer to my hometown and it has a very good placement record in this region(West Bengal).
