At first I was merit listed in the 2nd list , after that I was asked to deposit the admission fees to federal bank . Then I got a message to come to the college for verification process for showing all the documents related to admission & then they gave me the Id card & my admission was done .

No it's was a chilled out exams take place only two times an year of all the subjects & they are also not so serious ones but yearly there is an exam of Calcutta University which is compulsory to be qualified for promotion to next year & accordingly it continues for three years .

Exam structure is strictly followed as per university rules. Each semester there will be 2 unit test and internal, external viva exam need to be given. Projects as per subjects need to be submitted in stipulated time limit.Practical written test and practical have to perform as it carries term work marks.

Placement opportunities are provided upto extent and special programs are also held regarding how to tackle interview and personality development programs are also provide by college itself. Package provide are approximate 3.5 lakhs per annum. Companies such as Cape Gemini, Mahindra, wipro, Accenture etc.

After passing the entrance examination conducted by government of bihar in two steps preliminary and mains. BIT Sindri Dhanbad was the best college among all colleges offered through this entrance examination. In this college seats were allotted for students of Bihar as well as Jharkhand through respective state govt. entrance exam.

Most of faculty in completed their masters degree from iit ,even is all of them are educated and many are talented there are some research faculty who dont know how to teach or how to behave with students . They do not have any interest in teaching the students . But there are many teachers who enjoy teaching .

B.tech fee structure for our batch is 1 lakh and seventy thousand for year. And rs 2500 for semester reg every sem . The fees is too high if we judge the college by its cleanliness and resources available . Now the fee structure has hiked to 1 lakh and ninty thousand as they have added central acs .

I have qualified in MPPET exam then online counselling date is announced. In counselling i have to choose various colleges with various streams. I have chosen this college and applied the various stream. 1st i got mechanical branch but since i want electronic so i applied the up graduation then i got electronic and communication engineering branch.

The gender ratio of our college is 60:40(boys:girls). Many cultural activities are organised in our college in which various celebrity come and perform. There are various departments of cultural society in our college like singing, dancing etc. Our college have zero ragging policy and this is strictly followed.

There are 8 semesters in the entre curriculum. Among the semesters there are 3 exams in which weightages are divided. The fisrt two midsems carry a weightage of 20-20 percentage and the 50% marks are assigned to end semester also known as final exam. 10% are derived from assignments and class activities.

Around 80% of students are placed. Companies that give offer include google, amazon, ms, apple, linkedin, etc . Basically if you are good student and awesome learner , you are more than likely to be placed within 5 days of placement season however the uncertainity in the placement season prevails.

This Institute has plethora of permanent as well as visiting facility and all are fountain heads of knowledge. They are matchless, they have n number of ways to impart their knowledge. Moreover this college has various streams and various other department and if you want to ask them for part time studies so they will not hesitate at all.

As I said in my previous Question this institute conducts its own autonomous exam and I qualified that with flying colour. Exam pattern was of 4 different section:- Reasoning, Maths, General Knowledge, English and post selection I had a Group discussion and then there was a list of selected candidates in there premises.

People with diverse background are studying in this college. Even after college their networks are very good. The students uses bicycle to travel one place to another because of the long travel distance between hostel and the class rooms. the only aim for all students is studying. there are only few are concentrating on extra curricular activities.

Exam structure is good. There are labs we can go and learn at any point of time. exams are hectic. we have open book test and closed book test. The closed book test is for 40 marks and the open book test is for 60 marks. But we can score max marks in closed book only and not in open book. open book will be very very tough.

i faced problem at the beggining of the academic but gradually get to there prospectives on more understanding there point. The college faculty are also very generous and kind in explaining concepts.I took 6 months to settle in the college. The standards of the faculties differ according to there knowledge.

Campus life was too good and unforgettable. The gender ratio was also in balanced and there will be diversity . The extra curricular activities include cricket, chess, carroms, football, Volleyball, Basketball etc. There will be debates and well accompanied peaceful environment.

Course curriculum was awesome in every branch and in every year it was designed in such a way that every part of the core structure is taught to every student very clearly and the student can understand in a very clear manner coming to electives we can choose our own interest and the faculty will be provided to them and best curriculum too.

Coming to placements that was very good no doubt about not getting a placement every student is going to get placed companies like microsoft, pega, oracle, samsung, caegemingi, acolite, acolite offers a package of 11 lakhs per annum, microsoft-12 Lac, oracle-9 Lac, pega -8 Lac.

The placement cell here is very active, we can say it is the No. 1 placement cell in Gujarat. The companies coming to campus offers various package starting from 3 lac PA to 7 lac PA. The companies visited campus in 2016 are listed below Accenture 197 students, Reliance 29 , students L&T - 22 students, Chiripal Ind. Ltd. - 18 students, Cybage - 18 students, Torrent Power - 16 students.

TECHFEST- technical festival of the college. In this event, students from the various college participates in the event and awarded certificate to winners. In this event, there are various events in festival in each field of engineering. SANCHAY- Traditional event in this event, students from various colleges participates in Natak, Singing, Drama, Dance etc.

Firstly MCA in VIT would be a good option if u want to join a deemed university after trying your luck in IIT NIT and BITSAT. Now coming to the point. The MCA faculty of VIT is considered to be better in giving marks and being friendly with the students when compared to the other bachelor fields in the university. Comparing them with the other college lectures will also give them a lenient remark.

Most of the companies come here for two job profiles. One software engineer and business analyst. There are no special skills required for a business analyst profile whereas you need to know coding very well for the other one. Since luck not being in your hands, what you can do is start coding. It is always an advantage to know the thing the world needs the most right now.

It was good but needs improvement. As per my knowledge,there should be more management study and presentations. Also there should not get subjects from different bachelor courses like BCA, Bsc Computer science, BSC IT and B Com. Inter college stuff also got to increase. One more suggestion i wanna give is Last year internship in the organisation should be considered in experience bracket.

The overall experience is good as the infrastructure of the college has been vastly improved and the festivals though conducted on a small scale is improving year on year. There always be inter collage completions like debate white paper GDs etc. Also there was sports competition in in door like carom, TT and in outdoor like Football and badminton.

I was very passionate about my subject of interest and microbiology was at demand for the research students in many fields like industries, medical institutions, laboratories we had many minor research that we could take up. And we would be going for some places like lakes and all and we would collect the samples of lake water and we would test it,it was good experience.

Yes fees structure is feasible. I am being general merit student for the first year i paid 14.5 k which is reasonable,in the second year i paid around 11k and in my final year i paid around 12 k,so for three my total fee structure was around 40 k,which i think i resonable fees and also it be easy for middle class students.

Since this Institute is focussed on producing Scientists, so some students more than 60 out of 120 after completing B.Tech from here on, ISRO absorbs them and other got to go for higher studies and research. Toppers of Aerospace department have given the opportunity to go for California Technology on the funding of Govt. of India. For M.Tech students, they go for PhD since the referral from here on is very good.

The faculties here are of high Profile. For my specialisation there are only two faculties present in the college. One is Basudev Ghosh and other one is Chinmoy Saha who are the best in their own subjects. So some topics of the curriculum both of them covered simultaneously in which they are expert of. For some topics in which they called the professors of other reputed institute and also scientists of ISRO.

Admission process was simple. You have to give both Board and CAT for the specified board, and after that, you have certain merit percentage and merit rank which gives you basic idea about how many college in the field you want to go will give you admission. You have to apply online and then results will come with the college name in which you got the admission and the field in which you got it.

Exam structure was not hectic, but there were weekly tests at every Saturday. And that was sometimes boring for us because it only has weight of 20 marks and topics we have to read for that was like from 4-5 chapters. And for that topic to digest, you have to sometimes read whole chapter which was cumbersome.

Fee structure of my college is feasible, it's not too expensive. For my course specifically 35000 INR is the tuition fees, 28300 is the mess & hostel fees there were some nominal admission fees as well as caution deposit too in all total while admission we had to pay around 81000 Rupees INR. In the second year or last year of your course, you have to pay only extra 4000 INR as you convocation fees above the aforesaid mentioned amount.

In our case college provides us MHRD GATE scholarship of 12500 INR every month. Apart from that, our college provides full tuition fees remission of economically underprivileged students/SC-ST students. They only have to pay hostel & mess charges. If you get admission in any of the undergraduate courses in SVNIT banks such as SBI, BOI etc will give you the educational loan on cheaper.

We are blessed With Excellent Faculty Members in our college . Each and Every Faculty Member is always ready to Teach us new new things Thats why we never get Any Off Lectures and Every Faculty not behave with us like staff members But also as a friend and guardian All are experts in their Sections.

Here we have atleast one Unit Test every one month and there is a prelliminary leave for atleast 20 days after which Prelliminary Exams On complete syllabus is taken which takes a good practice . There are also Externals on few subjects which are carried throughout every sem for single time

Campus life is excellent. University have various educational departments that make good interaction among students of various fields. There is no discrimination among students of different race, gender, religion, region. University meet the standards in this respect. There is extra security for female students.

GNDU have excellent faculty. Most of the teachers are IIT pass outs. Many of them are involved in research works.Faculty have good subject knowledge and good good way of presentation. All the lecturers are proactive, enthusiastic and dedicated. Even the junior faculty is good and assisted by the seniors.
