I wrote the IIT JEE exam, however i was late to submit my documents in time as MIT was not my first preference. I finally got in through the NRI quota. The admission process is usually very smooth and convenient in MIT. I opted for this college because of its reputation in quality education and the fact that you would meet people from all over India and appreciate cultural differences.
The course curriculum is structured beautifully. Concepts are grasped well and the portion is spaced out to 4 years well. Lecturers encourage us to do extra projects and research under them or on our own and they help guide us through the process. We are always encouraged to learn more than what is in the curriculum which makes us more familiar to our stream.

There were 3 examinations which were conducted before the semester examinations. On the basis of these exams internal marks were decided. Labs were very frequent , 3 times a week ,we were used to go to labs and practice different practicals. lab sessions were very chilling, because we used to have fun.

The college has alot of clubs and committees. These clubs are responsible for all the activities that are conducted in our college. It is a student driven program. The students gain on hand experience conducting these events and participating in them at the same time.

As per UPTECH, we had lots of fun initially, as the exam centre was own college, some faculties helped in ensuring we get good marks & pass out, some were very strict, the things changed when the exam centre got shifted to other college. We used to travel a lot to reach the other college through our own convince only. No support from college was provided.

I took the COMEDK entrance exam but for this college they do not consider it. So I got admission through management quota. They consider only CET rank. I opted for the B.Tech in Information Science and Engineering branch in this college because it is one of the best colleges in Bengaluru for this branch. Although the campus is not very big but the quality of education is excellent.

Yes, The general stipend will be around 30k per month. It goes upto 80 k per month some times. The companies come to the campus to conduct exams or to take interviews and take the students and trains them for the job. That's a very trilling experience for every student to do job while studying. Applying what we have studied is most important thing of student life.
The placements here in IIT Delhi are done in very systematic fashion. So that no opportunity is wasted. The placement cell invites the best companies and trains students for their requirements. Most of the IITians get placed in the campus placements. Job opportunities are the widest in IITs and there are no better place to secure a dream job from.

Very good. The college boasts of highly qualified faculty and the processors also take up consultancy work for industries. This gives students an opportunity to work on real world problems along with academics. The course curriculum is demanding and people passing out from the institute have it easy when they pursue their masters.
Placement is almost 100% the few who don't get placed are generally very weak academically or lack soft skills. In case of my batch of 2009, the placements happened bang in the middle of recession. Yet most students had 2 job offers at hand ( one IT and one core/dream).

Most of the college faculty is very experienced and have a good hold over their subjects. There are no out of the world teaching experience when it comes to the faculty. Some of the new teachers were really not up to the mark (I guess teaching in general is not a very attractive profession for new talented people and those who are interested would prefer to go to IITs for this).

There are many technical fests which takes place in college where students from different colleges in city participate in it. Many quiz competitions held yearly are being waited by hundreds of students from all over the city. Cultural fests are very few and doesn't attract much people towards it. Sport activities are very good. Regular competitions will be held.
Very good teaching with excellent faculty. Not only based on exam point of view but also knowledge based. We are assigned projects regularly. Which gives us more and more confidence. It generally follows VTU syllabus but it has got Washington accrediting this year. Hence the status of college is to a different level from this year.

The faculty members are highly qualified and highly experienced. They are the best possible people we could have. They are always interested in helping the students. However the college infrastructure is not that much good. It could have been better. For example, smart class or projector classes are not provided regularly. They are best way of interaction and I understanding for the students but they lack in this field.
Placement records are pretty good here. As per the college rules as well as the companies that come to the college for hiring the students only some students are qualified for the test and interview of the placement process. But among those who qualify the placement ratio is pretty good. Many companies regularly visit our college like Infosys , L&T , Amazon , HCl, TechMahindra ,etc.

I had taken the WBJEE in the year 2012. I had a rank of approximately 3.5k in my state. I opted HITK because of the amazing infrastructure that it provides. ALso, the faculty was very qualified. The college looks into studies as well as overall development of its students. I collected these information from my seniors from school who studied in this college and hence decided to join here.
The course structure is very well-planned. Every professor has a weekly target and planning. The course is taken adhering to this well-planned structure. Also, our department focused on research a great deal. Innovative ideas were always welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm by the professors. Equipment required to carry out the research were also provided to us from the college.

A statewide engineering counselling was held after the results of the CET were announced. I got to select my seat in this college through this. I was handed a slip for the college and branch I had selected. I took this slip to the college to finalise the admission process. In the college, I was asked to submit my documents and pay the necessary tuition and hostel fees. It was a smooth process.
Placements were very good during my time. More than half of the class were placed in some company or the other. The IT branches had a higher success rate. Most students were placed in IT companies like Cognizant, Wipro and Infosys. We had a few core engineering companies like Hyundai and L&T who also picked up students. Most students were offered packages in the range of 3 to 5 L per annum.
