Machines are working fine in workshop. There is no politics in this college, No Ragging, No Religion Harassment, No sexual sexual Orientation.
Faculty's are available in Faculty Hour or in Break Time. Every day there is a certain time to meet with the faculty. Even if a teacher is free, you can contact him also. They are always there for help. If You are absent in a class , you can directly contact with the sir/madam in faculty hour.

Usually applications are rolled out once the 12th grade marks are out pupil/interested candidates can buy it directly from college. (No online applications) Fill it up and submit at the earliest you/candidate will be called for course discussion on why you have chosen this, why not the other course. Ex: If you are a commerce student you will not be allowed to pick BCA or B.Sc.
Qualification in paper seems high but the interaction and teacher are of very okayi/substandard. Complete book worm stereotypes, no causal analysis or research based explanation. At times the faculty runs through with guides and help books for mathematical problem solving. (maths and accounts both)Standards compared to colleges like SRM or even Loyola it is very low.
UTSAV the intercollegiate cultural festival of Manipal. It is a 5 day fest filled with cultural events like Western and eastern dance, singing, band, fashion show etc, literary events like quizzes, debates, collage, essays, photography and many more. About 30 to 40 events are held with inviting cash prizes. The main highlight of the event is the concert on the last day along with the DJ night. VERVE- This is an inter batch fest which runs for about 3 days where students from every semester unite and compete with other semesters because only ONE SEM RULES THEM ALL. Again there are literary events, cultural events and sports too. additionally casual events like paintball, limbo and other games also come and there are a lot of foods stalls too. MIST is the Manipal intermedic sports fest where students from all over the country participate in almost all possible sports events including cricket, squash, football, basketball, tennis, table tennis, badminton etc. VIBES this is the exclusive literary fest of the college which is celebrated for around 3 days. Highlights include comedy shows every year. Kannan gill, Biswa Mohan, Aditi, Sorabh pant, we have them all.
As it is a private institution, the fee is comparatively on the higher side. For 2014 batch the course fee was around 36 Lacs amounting to 7.6lacs per annum. But now the fee is floating fees according to which they can hike the fee every year. Hostel and mess adds another 1Lac per annum. But then it's all worth it. We have South East Asia's largest medical library- the health sciences library manipal. We have one of the largest indoor sports centre of theworld- Marena which has about 200 treadmills and everything that is required. indoor squash, tt, basketball, name it we have it.

"Exam structure very reliable. All the chapters are divided into units and from each unit there are two questions and we have to answer one out of those two. In case if any student failed to pass the exam. He have three chances to clear that Known as Reappears. If after that he did clear then he have to study that subject again with juniors. But every time student have to pay a large amount. Not sure about the present rates but possibly 500 for Re and 10000 for back."
Opportunities in CSE department is very well. 100% placement is there in MBA is but salary package is very less, not more than 3 to 4 LPA. In engineering only few IT companies come every year but they took in bulk. Package is around 1.8 to LPA. Zero placement in Mechanical and Civil. But they try to place these streme guys in those IT companies. 1. Cognizant- 358 in 2014, 618 in 2015, around 450 in 2106. 2. Tech Mahindra- Around 350 in 2016.
Campus life is awosome. Every destination is nearby. Gender ratio 40-60. Many girls come to medical colleges and u will get a gf very soon just have some good looks and good clothes. You will find partners for lifetime. Mostly there are Hindus. There are many societies. I am sports societies. Dance societies is very good. You can join them. Girls are very safe. Police station nearby. Politics is a bit there because of annual day having good budget
Placement is good, U get easily jobs in private hospitals as junior residents. But most prefer pg exam preparation. The pg exam gives u a chance to be a specialized doctor so most guys try this exam. Some do junior residentship and some go foreign for higher studies. Private hospitals do not come to recruit.

Most of the faculties are very good. They make learning the subject very easy. In my department (Mechanical) most of the faculties were PhD holders. They also help in various projects not directly related to academics. Faculties an be approached even after classes for clearing doubts and counselling.
Placement opportunities are very good. Almost 100 percent placement for the eligible candidates. I got 3 offers from campus interviews. Even core placements are very good. Most of the MNCs come for campus placement. Packages offered in google, amazon and microsoft go as high as 18 lacs p.a.

Gender ratio in NSIT is almost equal. Sports ground is really big and gym facilities are also available. Environment is really green and great for a morning or an evening walk. Also night life in hostel has its own fun. Every hosteller in NSIT will agree to that. Ragging is strictly prohibited in campus. Many societies are also there like BHR, Motorsports, Solar car society, IEEE, CSI etc for students to join according to their interests.
Senior students are always helpful and supportive. Be it class notes or placement doubts, seniors are always there for junior students. The alumni network of NSIT also helps us keep touch with all the alumnus and provides a platform to share their views and opinions. Also a alumni meet is held every year and all college alumnus are invited to provide their insights and help college improve.
Placement is also good most of the students get placed every year. The reason of not being placed are the students themselves. There’s never a better time to start planning for the future than right now. Finding the right college can be the first step toward achieving a lifetime of success, and it is as simple as pressing go. By using the tool below to find a potential college, you’re opening up a world of possibilities with just one click. Every year about 75-80 % students are placed in good companies like TCS , HCL, Intel etc etc. But I'll have to add that, mainly students will have to put their own effort to achieve placement in good companies.
Faculty are also upto the mark or we can say above the assumptions. Most of the faculties hold Masters degree from recognized universities.Online classes are a great way to earn a degree for someone who can set aside the time to get the work done on their own. These courses cover the same topics traditional classroom classes do. The same amount of time is expected to be devoted to each. The online student, however, has to be committed to the course to be successful. They have lot of skills to make student satisfied on the curriculum activities. Many of them are authors of the books themselves which runs in the college and other colleges also.

The college is placed in a beautiful chaitanya valley , it was far from pollution and very peaceful the faculty were friendly, helpful though management was vexing at times but they were successful in providing campus placements to the eligible students irrespective of the academics my college experience was best in terms of all extra curricular activities all the review comments provided above are based on my experience at the college 7 years back things change with time and now the college is enriched with funds and bolstered up from what i heard.

Gender ratio was one of the great in our batch as compared to junior and senior batches, with 85 girls out of 600+ students enrolled that year and it gave a better gender ratio than 1: 10 , with very less girls in engineering colleges many extracurricular activities were encourage and many robotics lab- Drishti, L&D-Literary and Debate Committee, Renesa- Magazine committee, iIndia- Social activities group, Joyfest- Joy of Giving, had almost all kinds of sports being played and encouraged with facilities, badminton, basketball, cricket, volly ball being the major ones.

The course in which i am which is electronic and telecommunications engineering is the only problem I think he has done it to the time that the only thing is to say the only thing is it seems that the only one thing that the problem only was that it is not a good idea i said that he is not a helping company in which the one that he was and then was not at any other than that it would take the only possible side for such things that you can never see and in that case it would not.

Exam structure is well scheduled and each exam of each subject have some weightage in total result and even class test have 20% value in total result. Minimum 75% attendance is must , but making attendance more than that can also give up to 5% more marks in result, this also bring interest in student to attend more lecture and thus gaining more knowledge.
Faculty of the college are very good , mostly of them are highly qualified , core branch subject are taught by PhD holder in that field, teacher are easily available in working hour and some are ready to help for extra hour if they see students interest and effort for the subject.

The papers have been redesigned to include more recent changes and developments in the concerned subjects. The papers in computer fundamentals and applications have been redesigned to introduce the student to packages required for statistical analysis and to enable the student to implement the techniques through computers, thus supplementing the quantitative papers. The core economics papers have been rationalized in their structure and sequencing wherein a broad idea of microeconomics and macroeconomic concepts and theories is introduced in the first and second semesters. The same is followed by a more detailed and in-depth knowledge of the subject in the third and fourth semesters. There has been a substantial increase in the quantitative techniques component of the course to equip stud ents v/ith the essential tools for business and economic analysis. In this regard Econometric and Operations Research have been introduced as essential papers. The course continues to expose students to the areas of finance, marketing and the legal structure within which businesses operate. Thus a fine balance has been maintained between the economic theory and practical business components. Five optional groups in finance, economics, quantitative techniques, marketing and project management and entrepreneurship provide the students a wide array of areas in which to specialize. These should help the student choose the area that are best suited to their interest and skill.

I don't know about other departments but as my title says stay away from this college especially Biotech and microbiology department cause they are simply horrible. Most Teachers are unsupportive, don't know how to teach & always make big issues about small small things. They robbed an opportunity from student to represent his project in Denmark instead they sent two other students who did very less work on it since they were kiss ass. The teacher who was responsible was Mrs. Jayshree Pawar.
Campus life was ok. Lots of students in college backyard smoked & got drunk. Even drug abuse was done by students. In biotechnology department females were more than males. Academic Extracurricular activities were mostly external. But all kind of sports were played by college. Well all kinds of religious people were in college & no conflicts were religious base but lot of fights which took violent turned happened on campus because of girls although they mostly remained unreported.

I would say that you will get the taste of Mini India living in manipal for 4 years. You will also get an international experience interacting with students from different countries. when people from across the globe sit together in mess and chat and have food, it feels amazing. There is a very cool food court, which serves food in cheap rates and ultimate quality. You can relish breakfast, lunch , evening tea and snack and dinner there with nominal rastes. There is a student campus store which keeps all the basic ameninties for the students at there convenience. Other than that there are small shops, canteens and juice /chat centers to relish and hang out with friends. Gender ratio is equal. There are almost equal numbers of boys and gals.
There are 8 semesters each semester has 3 sessional exams in which there is paper for 20 marks for each subject, along with viva etc. At the end of 3 sessionals , best of 2 are counted for the addition to the final marks. for eg if you scored 14/20, 10/20 and 16/20 for a subject in each sessional , you would be getting 30/40 + 10 marks for quiz which happens in 2 rounds , 5 marks each in class anytime when the teacher likes. so the total marks that you get out of 50 are added to the rest of 50 marks paper that you take at the end of the sem.

A global perspective in terms of course structure, teaching methods, technology integration, emphasis on leadership, human values and team skills are some of the unique features of the programs offered by the department. Exposures to practical applications and industry interaction to develop insights into contemporary industry practices are integral parts of the curriculum. Case discussions are extensively used to develop analytical and decision making skills of the managers. The objective is to develop problem-solving skills in complex business situations, apply management concepts in real life situations and exhibit leadership traits. Great emphasis is laid on presentation skills of students. Organizational based studies, industry reports, Internet based assignments, and summer internship as well as comprehensive projects are facilitated.
In the early days, the Canning College had no building of its own, and had to lead almost a peripatetic existence, the scene of its activity being periodically changed as one or other building proved unsuitable or insufficient. During the first twelve years, the College was shifted from its original abode, the Aminuddaulah Palace, to a number of places, one after another, including the Lal Baradari. At last, it was housed in its own building at Kaisar Bagh. The foundation stone of this new building was laid by the Viceroy, Sir John Lawrence, as far back as November 13,1867, but the work of construction was not completed until 1878. On November 15 of that year, Sir George Couper, Lt. Commissioner of Avadh, formally opened the new building.

I took JEE exam, i always wanted to take the electrical engineering course. It was one of my childhood dream to take this course. My rank was 2560 overall in india. They did not provide any score for the entrance exam. Only rank was provided. I opted fir this particular college as it was offering the same course and is one of the best colleges in west bengal it has good reputation.
We needed pay fee of 1 semester in advance then it was like 26750 rupees for each semester we had a PNB national bank inside the compound and we had to go there to pay the bills. The fees were a bit higher compared to other colleges but they gave me a laptop and the price was included.

All of my hard work, my seventh grade teacher ripped my presentation into shreds. I understand now that the teacher was trying to hone my presentation skills, but did he have to do it in front of the entire seventh grade science class? Let’s just say that my speech delivery skills weren’t up to par and because of this experience, I stumbled through many public speeches for a long time afterward. It really is amazing I went on to become a teacher. As teachers, it is essential that we make the process of providing feedback a positive, or at least a neutral, learning experience for the student. Unfortunately, many students have similar “educational” experiences like mine everyday. Why is it that some teachers think that giving feedback must be negative and corrective because that is the only way a student will learn. The only thing I learned from my seventh grade experience was that public speaking, no matter how much I prepared, was bound to be a disaster.
After she started college, freshman Wen Hui realized, “I could wake up at 10 a.m. each day, could eat a steady supply of junk food, and had no one to harangue me about doing problem sets.” But this behavior resulted in a cycle of late-night homework sessions that led to “napping in the middle of a lecture on differential equations,” she says. Wen Hui learned the hard way that managing your time well becomes even more important when you leave high school for college. Schoolwork is a priority, but extracurricular activities, jobs and internships are important parts of your college life too. Rula, a college sophomore, says, “One of the best and worst things about college is that there are so many things to do besides taking classes.” You’ll have to make choices regularly about where to focus your energy.
