Amity University has their own application form and conducts it own Test. Test is easy and 99 percent of the students can crack that nothing on the tougher side. When you are left with no options peoele generally opt for these kind of colleges.
Labs are not good for the sake of having a lab they are having it. Sports ground is big but no one can play a sport there , competitions are for cars for good clothes , for girlfriends apart from that no competition exists .

NEST-LPU which is managed by Lovely professional University it self, This is the only medium by which you get some Stipend for study. For Internship in my course no need of such thing.
Course curriculum is not great, but not bad either, they are currently modifying it and it is getting better. They do teach c as the first programming course but languages like python are not still not being taught and there are still a lot of unnecessary subjects being taught there which are a waste of time for a computer engineer. They do have good labs though which may come in handy.
The biggest cultural event is Sanskriti and many bands and singers or distinguished guests and performers are present during that time. For freshers, there is a separate event for them each year where they participate in sports, games and other activities. There is also technical events that go on during Sanskriti where students from all over Kolkata come to participate in.
PGCET - MCA (Rank - 2106) I opted Reva institute of technology and management to complete my MCA as the staffs and teaching sounds good and campus recruitment and campus drive is a reputational part i could say. So this made me to choose reva over other colleges.
Exam structure was a semester where we had a exam for every sem conducted by reva college under VTU university. Every month they use to conduct internals before every semesters . With this we can easily prepare for main semester .

Faculty are good. Barring one or two, rest are real gems. They guide us through future plans and also encourage the students based on the interest. For eg: we never had FEM as a part of curriculam, but based on interest, we were advised to join the classes where FEM is a part of curriculam. I even got a chance to get my work published in an international journal.
Spring Spree is the offical college cultural event, where collages across the country participate and network. Right from the adrenaline rushing debates to the antakshari and dance performance, competitions shall be held. I did win in Anthakshari during 2002 event.

The faculty of our college is excellent and is well encouraged by financial funding by which the college is top rated in our city The standards of the college are excellent.
As both an educator and a partner in Quintessential Careers, I get very frustrated when college students graduate and then tell me that they canメt get a job because employers disdain their lack of experience. I have done industrial training at BHEL BHOPAL and SAIL.
Due to proximity to Delhi, the National capital maximum companief from NCR visit to give job offer. Besides software companies such as TCS,Infosys and Wipro are permanent visitor to NIT Kurukshetra. Avg package in 2004 was 3 laks per annum.

Placement was bit OK in field of computer engineering branch. Except IT, core domain companies was null in our college. About 10% of the students got placed in our college, as per my knowledge, that too only in IT.

Campus life will be as usual like other colleges so I can't comment on this. Apart from that there is a huge gap of communication between the North Indians and South Indians Group and sometimes the matter went to police for this misunderstanding. Rest life is good if you are busy in your own life. As far as considered for sports no proper chance is given to the north indian players and overall the sports condition is worst.
For attending the exams you should have atleast 60% attendence and if you failed to get the minimum average in the internals in any of the subject then nothing to worry. You can pay 500/subject to attend the extra internal assessment. Labs exams I can say for CSE branch is quite liberal during external exams.

A lot of companies (both private & PSU's) come for placement to BITS-PIlani campus. However lately PSU's are going the GATE way. But still all the top companies (Facebook, Google, Yahoo etc.) are visiting BITS-PIlani every year.
