Exams structure was as per Madras University syllabus. Timely exams and practicals were conducted Exams structure was as per Madras University syllabus. Timely exams and practicals were conducted.
UPSEE organized by UPTU, the university renamed APJAKTU after Dr. Abdul Kalam. I also gave AIEEE and JEE but due to good rank in UPSEE I opted for this college. Just 20kms from Delhi and 10 from Noida
Sports meet was started when we were in 3rd after the new director took the charge. Robotics zero no more extracircullar activities. You cannot bunk as if you are not in college but in school
From my college I took B.Com Hons Examination on the year of 2012. I choose this Course Because I like Accounts and other Business & Management Subject and those subjects are very carrier Objectives. The admission Process is very smooth and Easy and the Senior Students are very helpful on the admission occasion.
No. Any scholarship/ Loan facility did not offered by my college. There is nothing about loan facility. If there is anything then I do not know about that. Because My college is not offered me those kinds of scholarship or loan.

We are having alumni gatherings, So its good to meet juniors and our old friends. Once a year we are having those gatherings. So its good and we enjoy lunch and meetings with juniors.
Many companies came over there, They provide training project and stipend.Local companies just provide training and no stipend. I think they should tie up with more companies.

My favorite thing for this college are events. In every month there is a eventthe management of college is quite dharmik, follow all Indian rituals and festivals but the main thing is they celebrate these festivals with students and college staff. Whether it is saraswati puja or ganesh chaturthi, holi, diwali, teez, but the main and India famous event is apaji melathis mela every one must see.

Yes, It is good. Every year college organize alumni meet so that we can engage with all the activities of our present and past students. Now, when we are poised on the path of progress with promise to reach newer heights, we cannot remain disconnected from your college. Where we have spent four prime years of our youth. I am certain all of us must also be fondly remembering that golden time. AKGEC has grown over the years, both in establishing modern infrastructural facilities and academic achievements.
Some faculties were really good and have a vast experience of how to deal student and have good practical knowledge as .They are industry experienced. At the top positions, mostly armed forces education corps faculties are positioned. In general, college is governed by retired armed forces officers.

The exam schedule is little hectic as we have two internals in one sem before the end sem exams. That means 8 exams in an year. The exam pattern is tough and can't be predicted. It is hard to score high marks in the theory exams. The lab exams are tough as the students have to perform the experiments individually. Marks is distributed among record, lab experiment and viva voce.
Some or the other event is always going on in the college. The students clubs are very active. English literary club, science club, eco club, rotaract club are few of the clubs. The gender ratios are balanced in the clubs due to the encouragement provided to girls to participate. I have never encountered any incidence of gender bias or racism.
Campus life is very fine since we have many other things to do other than going to class, sit and listen we have central library contains different sorts of books besides academic books, nss, ncc etc every you will have a couple of cultural programs from different branches of the campus and you can participate in any of them with permission of faculty you can participate in sports and represent college in different sports and games students will be taken out to academic and informal tours.
There are many state and central government scholarships available one must be native of tamilnadu to avail state govt scholarships first of all if u want to avail a scholarship you should study and work hard to pass each semester without leaving any subjects behind .there are scholarships available sc, st students and to all other minorities and you will get financial from generous alumni so keep in touch with them through you seniors.

The exam structure is very comprehensive and the schedule was very chilled out. We had three internal assessment exams and one end semester exam for all the subjects. The syllabus is very comprehensive and the test dates are also flexible according to the classes. The labs are located in a separate research facility. The lab classes are usually a day long giving the students enough time to learn the technique.
I cleared GATE in the year 2009 with a percentile of 87.5. I had always wanted to study Biotechnology and Anna University is the forerunner in Tamil Nadu. The admission process was pretty easy involving single window counselling. They publish a rank list based on our marks and seats are allocated accordingly. TANCET and JNU exams are also eligible for admission.

The Faculty in college are all extremely qualified and intelligent individuals in their own field and excel in getting the subject matter across to the students. They offer a lending hand whenever the student is not as confident as he can be. They are always willing to teach a student even one on one if the student takes the initiative to go to the professors' chambers.
I have not had an internship yet. But, internships are a guaranteed thing in BITS through this program called Practice School. There are two practice school programs throughout the 4 or 5 years of college life and the second one guarantees a minimum stipend amount for different disciplines.

Expensive, 2 lakh per year, such a big huge amount. I tool loan for the amount. Still, I m paying Emi to the bank. According to me, college fee should be less yaa feable, poor student can also afford such amount.
We all were enjoyed in the college campus. In all cultural activities, we all are active participants. All facilities were available in the college campus, good cafeteria, latest Jim, auditorium for badminton.
My opinion on campus life it is interesting and i have learn many things and coming to extracurricular activities. It is mandatory for every student in my college and labs are all good and we will be having every days a debate session with all students .
In my college internship will be held for six months and many more multinational companies are offering internship in my collge and the some companies we went to wipro, tcs etc and the general stipend is 5000.

It was interestingBut there are no girls in our course. The course needs student to write 1000s of assignments. Students are mischievous as only boys are in the class. If you're interested in doing mechanical then only a chance of passing or else atkt for sure.
Fees and all are feasible. But above the donation you've to pay the fees as well.donation does not include fees. So after all the fees becomes expensive. Very expensive. Around 70,000rs for a year for mechanical student. Plus donation of around 3-4 lacs.
Yes Exams and practicals were hectic overall, The college follows a methodology to educate its students well. This methodology was like every student as to appear for retests after retests until he passes a single test before the final semesters. I myself had appeared for like 5 tests in a row for a single subject until they released me for PLS and signed up my submission cards.
The curriculum was very well organised i must say. Had 5 Maths subjects in the first couple of years, Apart from it had core Software subjects such as Data structures, Networking, Information Security etc starting from second year. Electives were applicable during the last two semesters in final year. Options were given between Multimedia systems OR Artificial Intellegence.
The course curriculum includes 8 semesters and each semester has a duration of 5 months for the 1st year has 2 sem which is common for all the branch students. The course includes branches like mechanical, civil, textiles, computer science, electronic and communication etc.
The exams are conducted by the VTU bord for each sem there are three internals and best of two average counts for our final results the minimum marks to pass is 40 among 80 in which 28 is minimum for external exams and rest is of internals average marks held for 20.
As a BE,in our institution there will not be any internship offered nor any stipend. it will be there for only Mtech holders .As a BE,in our institution there will not be any internship offered nor any stipend. it will be there for only Mtech holders.
It was really good. We just enjoyed every moment there. But now it looks to be we are missing the golden days. and we are really missing it too. We learnt there many things and now its time to make use it.

IIT JEE, I chose this course over others as iron and steel making was my interest area, which forms an integral part of the metallurgical eng. course. Admission process included 2 exams, 1 for screening through an objective test of Maths, Physics and Chemistry, while the other being a subjective exam for each of these subjects. Around top 5000 of the total 3 lakh candidates were finally granted admission into the IITs.
It included common subjects like Maths, Physics, Eng. Drawing in the first year. Thereafter, cire subjects were taught such as phase transformation, Iron & Steel making etc. Also, we got electives options every semester such as Pshycology, Sociology, Art and film making, History of science etc.
Companies like tcs, infosys, satyam, patni, igate, iflex, abb, alstom, major recruiters include it companies which have 60% share, rest as such no stipend is offered to students suring internship only some companies which recruited companies in third year have offered stipend which is around 6000.

I had passed GATE Examination in year 2013 in which I have scored 415 and my rank was 2818. This university is having good reputation and in the same city where I live. Therefore I have chosen this university
Average family can not afford fee of this institute as fees was very high. Even for students who are getting stipends from university, fees were high enough to think about taking admission in this university.

Faculty was very good indeed. I still miss them. They had a passion for teaching and they used to spend a lot of time after the normal hours to clear doubts and share some practical example to help us understanding the theory.
Campus life is good. gender ration 4-2, there are plenty workshops and cultural events. There are many events used to happen. There used to be 3-4 students union SFI DFI etc and they are pretty good.
