It affiliated by VTU belguam karnataka they used to change the course curriculum according to current market trends. Basically they focus on the practical concepts of the subject rather than theory. One most important thing about the allocation of subject they always allocate the difficult subject to the most experience faculty.
They provide in house internship for those student, not selected or get any company internship. In between they provide the basic stipend also. Generally most of the students get selected in corporate for job as well as internship.

Internship are generally self arranged. Colleges provide a bit but not much The best company came for internship was L'Oreal and they offered almost 5.5 lac in 2006 after internship. Also some companies like Wipro & Infosys offered around 3.6 lac after internship. During internship they paid 8000 per month where as L'Oreal payed 12000 per month. Self arranged internships are mostly unpaid and paid ones were having almost 5000 to 6000 per month in 2006.
Faculty is average as only 4 professors were doctorate in 2006. But the professors who were doctorate were really good. The assistant professors were mostly M Tech. and the lecturers were B. Tech only. The lecturers were not having that much good understanding of the subject making the faculty as average. But in higher classes in 3rd and 4th year lecturers were not involved in teaching students. They were only teaching till 2nd year.

They were good as teachers. They were not so out of the book kind of people. They stuck pretty much to book and curriculum. So practical knowledge was also limited. But they were encouraging to participate outside competitions etc. T&P cell was not good at that time bit now they have good campus programs.
It was feasible for some who got into merit seat and expensive for those who got into paid seat. But merit seat was very reasonable.2003 onwards they removed merit seat and made all seats at the same expensive paid seat cost.

Fee structure is pretty feasible for second, third and forth year which is about 55000 on an average which includes even government fees of karnataka and all aspects such as library, sports, visits, insurance etc. but fees for first year is little more compared to other year as government take the fees separately of about 40000 and plus college fees about 35000-40000.
My campus life was very good, as the ratio of people is almost equal. It is one of the best among top three in bangalore regarding campus and is also given a certification from national authority. Campus is Huge and always kept very clean with the help of students as well as authorities.

It was not quit expensive if we compare another management college. but yes as i am from middle class family for me it was expensive. We need to pass fees at the end of every semester (after 6th months) and it was approx 80-90 thousand.
Collage was good but not upto the mark. I really feel that if you are are willing to do MBA or any professional courses u must choose top 10 college or at list top 20 twenty college those are best in that particular domain.

Almost all were placed. Average salary offered was pretty good compared to what high paying companies offer to freshers. Placement was even better for our branch where almost half of the students were placed in dream companies.

Campus life started from sharp 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Very poor gender ratio 80:20 ratio.the best thing was sitting on the steps to the institute. It is central university hence no need to say anything about economic status. Very less politics or no politics in the institute.
Seniors were very helping and friendly nature. all the notes are available from the seniors. JK institute has very strong network of alumni from all over the fields and so many nri.ex- engg services officers, irs, its, professors in delhi university.

It is minimum fees any college can offer for BCA in dehradun and rank 3rd. Very feasible for middle families who can't afford GEIT or DIT. Money was one of the reason I took admission in this college.
Covered most of the course of MCA in BCA. Got good amount of grooming with extra curricular. Some of the lecturer from outside (Guest lecture) who are professionals. So you get good exposure also.
