None but the atmosphere led to many suicides in the hostel especially amongst Btech as most students did not want others to perform. That was the only bad thing. The rest were good. Good campus life and a deviation from the Indian way of studying. Open book exams were tough as even studying didn't help. Concepts mattered a lot.
Open book exams and most people did not have much clue as to what is happening. Some of them studying helped but many were more based on our general understanding rather than doing a hectic workout. Also, discussions with classmates worked a lot in tackling these exams.
I took compute science and engineering there were all total of more than twenty subjects .There are no further elective subjects .Main subjects includes that od computer science .Rest others are realted to mechanics ,eletronics,electrical etc.
Through WBJEE got in engineering admission in AEC. Rank was good and was okay to take compute science engineering at Asansol Engineering college.

For an student we should remember each and every event should organised in such a way should not hamper their basic education and routine life. Extra curricular is required and motivate to student to do some extra learning and bright their future . Counselling of each and every student required.
Most of the faculty was experienced, management coordination with student and faculty was good. Faculty came from diversified culture. If any difficulty came, we can talk with respective teacher at any time. Really nice faculty i love them.
There was no company that came to offer internships. Although I was doing a 4 month internship regarding which the college co-operation was great. I was allowed the internship which prior permission and my examinations were taken care of and also my attendance. The college didnt provide me with this internship but it made sure that I fully avail of it.
The events are celebrated well. There are college festivals. Then there are days like superhero day, school day etc that students usually enjoy. Also traditional days where students had to dress up and the participation was good because even the faculty would follow these which was the best part and would encourage students for it.

Campus life is blissful with beautiful gardens. In mumbai it very difficult to get such pollution free green environment.the moment I entered campus I feel i am out of pollution zone very cool and peaceful atmosphere. Labs are extraordinary with modern equipments. Sports OK not at high level we use to play just for fun two ground are there for cricket and football, TT, Badminton, Carram, Chess, Basket Ball. World Class modern auditorium.
Good most of it practical experiments and with logical answers, if your good in thinking process than just mugging you will enjoy it.I found better then other Engg college with fixed syllabus need to take coaching classes waste of time and money. At UICT all syllabus design by Prof with best current industry knowledge and Fundamental theories.Just attend the class take note and apply logic during examination.

The Institute also organises events like Traditional Day, Annual Day, Fashion Shows, Rockshows, Staff Picnic and other Cultural Events like Danz Pavimento a State Level Dance Competition and a Musical Nite with International Repute celebrities during Annual Day Celebrations. MLRITM has been conducting Traditional Day every year. The purpose of Celebrating traditional day is basically to imbibe a spirit of Oneness, where the First year Students who have joined the Institute shed their Inhibitions, play and dine together with their seniors and recollect the old traditions & glory of the Past. Apart from that the traditional day is being celebrated with a purpose of removing fear and as a measure of Anti-Ragging activity.
The Institute offers two years full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) which is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The objective of the MBA programme is to develop the thought process in candidates that is required to adopt, initiate, decide and act in the ever changing business environment and also make candidates aware of social, economic, political, technological and ecological environment of modern society and their inter-connectedness. The Institute also takes into consideration the radical environment that prevails in the market place.
Bharati vidyapeeth was a hot spot for cultural & extracurricular activities.The annual function held in the college was grand. There were always new & innovative programs being presented. Apart from that students were very active in the inter college festivals like Verve and bagged many awards.
Most of the faculty was great, barring a few exceptions.Most of the faculty had well over 15 years of teaching experience. Some of them had authored books/papers in the field. The faculty took classroom learning seriously and had a very strict antecedence policy.

Our Colleges have excellent placements. Since, it is a Government Institution, we nominated our class representative as a co-ordinator and we helped him for preparing brochure for our college and our placement officer guided our co-ordinators for issuing brochures to different companies. Also, we ourself organised for training of our colleagues for preparing and training for interviews. We collected some nominal amount for organizing interview and incidental expenditure during the time of interview of companies. Out of 57 students, 53 students have got placed in different companies and I have got offer from L&T ECC with a package of CTC of Rs.2.50 lacs per annum.
During our college days, one of the in-house job training was at a Nuclear Power Plant at Kaiga where the construction of cooling Tower and Pump house for Nuclear Power Corporation of India. The main contractor was M/s. L&T ECC Division, Chennai. We have a memorable experience and it was remote location where we have to travel 18 kms daily. We have got good practical experience. We doesnot have stipend but we have got scholarship as per the community. I have got about Rs.4,500/- per year
The fee structure is feasible and per the govt rules and regulations, but at times you need to be prepared for shelling out some extra bugs, also if you dont have proper scores in competitive exams, you can shell some extra money to get the seats there.
College day celebrations was a fun, it used to be a whole week with different curricular activities keeping the staff and students busy, both staff and students used to mingle together for the celebrations.
The gender ratio was 3: 1 overall ( male to female). The hostel parties were organised at regular intervals on the occasion of birthday or if the the hostel won any inter hostel game championship. As it was a central university we have students from all over the country and there was no discrimination on race, religion etc.
The internship was very great and we were given industrial training in different industries and PSUs. The stipened for internship varies between 8000 to 10000 depending upon the industry. Different industries were Vidyut Yantra Udyog, BPCL, IOCL.

Gender ratio for undergraduates id generally about 1:8 (girl : boy).Hostel parties are enormous. Each hostel has excellence in some specific skills. So, we all compete for general championships (GC) in all three areas of Tech GC, social and cultural GC and sports GC.The first year students go through many workshops in the field of robotics, sports, dance, debate, drawing and painting, Entrepreneurship and many more.The college is very secular in nature. There is no discrimination at all among any gender. Everybody is free to express their views.

Fresher event during first year, and was quite good for the exposure to college, college fest which include various competitions like gaming challenges, sports competition. Various other events are also held all throughout year. Farewell for the last year students.
In sports, we were having various competition like basketball, cricket, volleyball. We also used to have drama, dance , singing competition. Also, college was having all kinds of labs, and student interested in any innovation were giving all support.

I had taken Amity entrance exam & cleared the same for MBA. However, didn't get much time to prepare for CAT or MAT. The admission process is great in Amity. Being offered the E&L - Entrepreneurship stream in MBA, i had given my options as Finance & Retail. But being new in this stream, it was a different outlook which i get.
During our program, we are asked to go for Summer internship & prepare the report for that at the end of the period. Many companies came to college to select student for summer intern & offered good stipend as well minimum of 8K. However, we were free to go outside & do summer intern as per our interest area & industry.

Technodeon and yearly feast are the two events that every KITians are aware of and It was a nice experience that i will cherish in my life forever. The dance programs and all other events were good.
Campus life is excellent with the college in between the natural beauty of ramtek. The climate is good. Summer is pretty hot but other than this it was good campus exp. with interactive friends.

Internship was offered to me by my college, but i had my own resourse which helped me get an internship in one of the stock market companies. The internships were offered in many of the top companies and banks like Icici and BOB.
Faculty were very helpful and friendly. They had good command knowledge about the subject. The faculty was having experience of 15 to 30 years in the field. Which helped us get indepth knowledge about the subject.
I am sure in times to come many students from our department will make indelible mark nationally and internationally in the field of Information Technology and make us proud. We are having hard-working students, a young and dynamic faculty, whose expertise spans the range of disciplines in computer science stream and a very healthy work-culture, are the basic elements that comprise the Department of Information Technology, the hub of the institutes academia.
Participating in an internship is an important experience to complement the learning that your student is doing in the classroom. It can provide her with some good practical experience. However, there are many additional, somewhat more concrete reasons why your student may want to be sure to include an internship in her college experiences.
Faculty was knowledgeable, especially for the core subjects like metallurgy, die design, Operations research, Environment was competitive which made you strive for excellence, College crowd and staff was A plus, No nonsense highly disciplined college. NO ragging here.
Placement opportunities at my pass out year were excellent with TCS, Infosys, Godrej Aerospace and toolrom, Larsen amoung the top dogs who had come to our college, I think we had an almost 75% placement record then i was absorbed by Godrej Aerospace and tool room.

Not great, However again lucky as with 3 friends I was placed to Vikram Cement Aditya Birla Group at package of 1.4 LPA. There was not much companies visited, However with the time everybody got placed and today everyone is doing great in his field.
It was feasible. We were charged for hostel fee and college fee and as it was private college so it was expected in that side only. I remember it was 15 K for college and 10 K for hostel. Hostel was full of many facilities so it was good time.

JEE, I choose it by my self coz iwanted to be an computer engineer there are nothing factors like some one force me or smthng like that i am lucky in that case. For the interviews cap round are help by government college get alloted by ur marks we have to fill the form and fees of college thats it.
Yeah there are best at there levels. No issue in that try there best ,as its matter of time they also lag in some cases. But yeah they try there level est to teach us. They teachs each and everythg they have learnt or tey know.
