College was awesome I enjoyed each and every moment of it with my friends Miss those days and will cherish it forever. It was a beautiful experience and too tough. Every now and then we had exams to prepare for and bunking was difficult too as the girls ratio was quite lower than the boys but still we did last minute notes and a wide open library helped us to get everything at time of exam.

Great and very supportive always used to scold us for being absent or bunking classes showing their concern towards us. I was so very lucky to have teachers like them. Though the course costed too much but with the faculties like them it was all worth it.

They also provided us with good Lab facilities with 1 to 1 system. There used to be inter college competitions on different parameters. We also went to different colleges like Durgapur Engineering College to take part in inter college competitions.

The fee structure were like this 15000 per semester. Plus we had to give some examination fee. Picnic and other events fee was separate. The fee structure was not very very high. But it was not that poor students can pay.

Campus is good.Labs are well equipped and good in infrastructure and good experience staffsports ground and sport encouragement is very good.have separate Hostel for Male and Female

Yes every year they will conduct Alumni in Bangalore and senior students are very cooperative and help in all the ways and good in accommodate and hospitality for Alumni.

B.Com General subject is full of accountancy subject. When i finish this i can go for any job. More jobs are available for B.Com Degree courses. It has cost account and taxation, accountancy,business law,statistics,Economics etc.

Cut off mark there is always more competition to get admission,First preference is political,second one is money,third one is recommendation,fourth one is cut off marks, fifth one is caste.

Campus life is the best life as I've heard from my senior, even im enjoying it alot but I dont know if its the best or the best is yet to come. We have many parties but not in the college, mostly in cafe disco. There is no kind of discrimination which I have ever noticed.

I haven't been a part if internships yet but I believe even that would be really very good as the college has excellent repetition. I've heard that there is an internship fare which is held in our college every year .

This college open for all religion student, and all boy and girl read us , and middilel class, low class and high class all student are welcome, politics is so highly active in this college.

First i am told this is goverment college, there is no compani come, this is graduate college, No tie up any companies, job is your responseblaty, so no intership.

Overall the campus life is just great. The gender ratio is 7:2 (boys:girls) and that is quiet okay for an engineering college. There are various types of fests that are held in the college like technical fest,cultural fest,management fest,coding fest,maths and tech fest and so on. Students participate and the ambience remains great and very inspiring. The fests do provide a boost up in field of knowledge and entertainment as accordingly they are held. There are various competitions that are held in various fields and all are merged in the various fests that occur in the college. The labs of our college are developing at a good rate I would say. Initially the quality was not upto the mark but slowly and steadily the condition is improving. There are playgrounds where the students do flex out their muscles and talents in various domains such as cricket,football,hockey. There are also provisions for Tennis,Basketball,Table tennis in each of the hostels,Badminton as well. There is also a gymnasium for maintaining a good shape. Workshops The college also manages workshops on various fields throughout the year in which lots of students participate and they share their knowledge in the respective domains. Cultural Societies Well their are devoted clubs that cater to this criteria. They are drama club,SPIC MACAY,Music Club,Sports club,Dance club,Literary circle. Nurturing the cultural side of the students do go well hand in hand along with the academics.

I took AIEEE (in 2011 it was AIEEE which has changed to JEE MAINS AND ADVANCED as of now). I scored 132 and secured a rank of 4605.I wanted a good college close to my home town and this was a great option. NIT Durgapur was a national level college which offers good education and the campussing is great as well. There were ample opportunities and so I opted for this college. ELectronics and Communication Engineering is the latest and the most demanding engineering today. Everything is made smaller and smaller like from mobile phones to computers to all other electronics devices and also everything is automated today thanks to the contribution of VLSI and embedded systems which contributes to this field. Communication is not to be left out. We are now in the world of 4G connectivity and will step towards 5G in due course of time. So this subject needs no further explanation. To add to all these NIT Durgapur being a national level college had the ECE dept since 1983. So there ware no second thoughts.

I didn't took any entrance examination for my engineering based on the % i bought in 12th std. I attend the engineering council in chennai anna university and i prefer to do my engineering in my home town hence i chosse this college.

My opinion on campus life extracurricular,labs,sports,competitions such as robotics,debates was excellent we conduct sports day both seniors and juniors will work on this. intra college competion also they conduct.

We went twice for internship once to Jessop during 3rd year and another to Paharpur Cooling Towers during 4th year. Both were organized by the Institute. Duration of each was 4-6 weeks. The experience was good. We had to submit a report and appear for Viva-Voce after the completion of the Internship. Stipend was minimal.

The course itself was sponsored by the State Government and hence there was no question of any other scholarship. Loan was absolutely not necessary and admission to the course was completely merit-based and students from any section of the society could afford the fees without any loan.

The college festival are been held every year in the college. Both the technical and cultural festivals are held alternatively every year until 2008, but now the festivals are done for each two years. The festivals are a big huge hit as an the colleges affiliated to ANDHRA university took participation. Nearly 2500 to 3000 students will attend to this fest in the span of 4 days and many management festivals held frequently.

There is system of scholarships named EPASS provided by the state government of ANDHRA Pradesh. In which the government provides full amount of tuition fees and mess fees to the candidates of sc and st caste and a maximum amount of 35000 rupees for the students of other castes. Many students can apply to the scholarships provided by the university for the merit students and students under BPL.

Course curriculum is nothing special just continued old Syllabus which are comeing from years together with zero practical knowledge. Bookish knowledge is not at all useful in field work. I think more practical knowledge syllables has to be implemented in curriculum removing un nesssary subjects.

I think my college must improve in security. Beggers come into the classes and won't leave till they get sufficient money. It is most disgusting situation while haveing class. No security personnel will be available ready. Good canteen should be opened. WiFi has to be setup.

Exam structure is not good if there is a back log then you will never pass as the paper are not corrected at all. They make us continue with the back log and continue in the same college for next 2 years and get dropped oiut. They are so reluctant about the students future.

Few of the faculty members were haveing Ph.D's and were really experienced in their subjects. I will start with each department.Mechanical department has expert faculty members with the HOD haveing profound experience of more than 20 years. Electrical department also has expert faculty members with the HOD haveing more than 20 years of teaching experience and 10 years of Industry experience. CS&IT is a single department with faculties very helpful. Many of them have a Master Degree and they are really helpful. Electronics department has the best laboratory and the faculties will help you with your subjects in all way from getting your projects done to assignments.

The course curriculum was in the same line with West Bengal University of Technology. It is a 4 year course with 2 semesters each counting to a total of 8 semesters. 1st year generally brushed with the basic stuff that you learnt in your plus 2. 2nd year will dig dip into your core subjects along with few non technical subjects. 3rd year and 4th year will have your expertise in your core subjects with lab experiments.

National seminar,inter collegiate meet,annual day,sports day. It is good to be part in all the celebrations. I participate in cultural events. The college also conduct international seminar conference also delegates from all over the world will participate.

Faculty member are highly experienced and their teaching methods are good. Still some of the faculty member are not up to the standard. Majority of the faculty members are doctorates. They teach according the subjects scope and features.

Many cultural activities such as freshers night educational tours to historical places,farewell functions,cultural nights,plantation in the college campus blood donation camp, anti dowry oath and some social activities were also organized by the college.

Faculty was very impressive. Thoroughly knowledgeable and highly helping for students. Besides dealing every aspect of curriculum in a highly perfectionist manner faculty also helped us in grooming our personalities.

No i did not have any bad experience since it was well organized since the persons in the alumni was cooperative and used to organised very well and as per now it is ok and going on but the activity is bit limited and hoping to improve in the feature.

Was good and there was no politics much and workshop outside and all was good i was not taking care in the extracurricular activates was enjoy others talent i was good in labs and used to spend more time in it and sports and all was taking part.

Campus life was full of fun and great opportunities to learn, educate and develop ourselves. Most of boys and girls will participate in all events in the ratio of 2:1 (boys: girls)-Plenty of opportunities to take part in extracurricular activities. -Lab are well equipped with all required machines and equipment's-Sports are given prime importance-Competitions are plenty to showcase technical talent, knowledge power, communication skills, sports talent, literature strength etc. No shortage for it.As far as I was exposed, there was no problem of racisim or political issues or religion based issues or sexual issues inside the college premises

In general placements & job opportunities are excellent. Everyone without arrears and bear minimum capability will certainly get job placements.1. Out of 32, 12 got placement in IT companies (WIPRO, CTS, INFY) 8 got jobs in polymer companies (WELSET, PRICOL, SUBA,HCL), 6 went for higher studies

Mainly non technical companies will get flooded amid of the year and generally almost all affiliated colleges of jntu are allowed for the campus selections. Sometimes an exclusive campus selections will be conducted for Malla reddy group students.

Not sure about general candidates. But college encourages students who have good academic scores by fee compensation sometimes and rewards. Other than OC they will get plenty of scholarships as it is a christian minority college.

In this college, the gender ratio is very good. Nearly equal no. Of boys and girls are there. But in the mechanical department, their is not even a single girl studying. But in IT no. Of girls is more than no. Of boys.

I took IT course and it has subjects chemistry, EME, Fcpit, maths, EVS, ed. I got the admission according to the jee mains marks. And the first choice was given to mechanical stream. But I took information Technology.
