I didn't got into any internship programs. But I was interested in doing small electronic projects. So me and my friend made some some domestic electronic projects like remote car bomb detector,Stun gun,USB based music played with external amplifier to connect external speakers,home theater etc and made some money on them.

Our college was not that good at conducting more events in a year. But we have a annual day function every year which we had fun and enjoyed a lot and also got some technical events like presentations,projects demonstrations done by students,cultural events etc. I also volunteered for some events.

Companies like tata steel, Microsoft, Bajaj, Honda, Caterpillar, Mahindra came for internshipsStipend 10k 30k like we mentioned in a section above, the placements do suffer a little due to the lack of a major airport near Rourkela however, that doesnt mean that the placements are bad not at all! NIT Rourkela has a rule that states that no company offering a package of less than 3.2 lacs per annum is allowed to participate in the placement process, and yet it manages to get all of its students placed the metallurgy department doesnt have the best of placements, but other departments such as CS and Electronics have average packages of about Rs.5 lpa about 40% of the offers go higher than 6 lpa.

The placement oppurtuinity is very very bad the college call for the companies and some of the companies visit the campus and will have good food until their stomach is full and does not offer placement to a single student. They are visiting the campus only to get good food.

I wrote tamilnadu state board higher secondary examination and got a cut off of 152.75 and I choosed this course because of my father's support.

You take tuitions from them. You will pass out else you will fail. Senior give tuitions and earn good money. If you dont have money to spend on them you will have to study real hard say study your ass off.

There was just politics. Boys Girls ratio is say 7:1.There was no racism but they judge you on you religion. The seniors are just full of shit if you are a first year student and if you dont know anybody.

I am not a brilliant student but I always have kept my aims & dreams high. Though I didn't score high in CAT exam but my aim was to get in such a college which has brilliant curriculum & placement for Marketing & sales course. At my score, the colleges which were in the list, luckily I found AMITY which was known for its M&S blend in the market. Believe me AMITY has turned me into diamond.

Course curriculum is the road to placement. Like proper spices make a best dish, subjects in the curriculum make a best carrier. I learnt from the basics of MBA to critical & necessary bends of Marketing. Curriculum was a mix of every necessary subject i.e. Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Business Communications, Behavioural Science, Case-Studies, Group Discussion.

Freedom to do anything legal cant be better campus life than this. Since it is social centred college people are sensitive here whether its a gender issue or women. Empowerment or politcs or sexual orientation. Peole have free and open mind,everybody is accepted here.

Very supporting and friendly. There is this whole alumini group we contact and thwy are really really helpful after all we are all Tisansour aluminnies are at great positions and they are always happy to help.

Gender ratio is 60 boys to 40 girls approx. There is fair high percent of localites bt there are students from diffrent part of country even foriegn students also come for there studies. There is no buully environemt very peaceful and good. Extracurriculars are very frequent and labs are good. Sports is not that much focused on bt there is a stadium and gymnasium of the college.

Placement opportunities are also scarce in the campus . Few companies do visit but it cant be called very reliable oportunities. The students are placed at 25kpm. Companies like big step and belllurbis technologies visit campus thru alumni and teachers contact rest there is a placement structor TPO in progress so the placement will be good in upcoming years.

It was 28000 for me per yearthat was tution fees, apart from that I had exam fees also. Also if you are going for revel you will get revel fees also. Exam fees was 1200 which was paid every six months since it was on semester basis.

We have college alumni function once every year after festive season. It is organized by our college and it is fun to be part of it. It is more for meeting old friends rather than any other this.But its a fun event.

Really very very good and well experienced and also the management took lot of care for our education and provide us good library and good computer lab. So we send our after college timings in our library and improve our study skills and also they provide us the books as per our request and help us to prepare for more.

It really awesome and we cant able to express in a simple paragraph. Because as per playground it was really good and labs, library and many other minimum facilities which the college can provide they have provided and we were very happily enjoyed them.

For B.Tech CS&E the course for initial 2 years was same as any engineering course all streams had same subjects from 3rd year the subjects were different for computers subjects covered were - C, Data Structures, C++, Java, OS, Linux, Networking, etc etc end of 6th Semester we do a short project of 1 month in some company industry for which we need to create a project report In 7-8 semester we do a project by our self for which we are given score in 8th Sem.

When I gave the entrance exam university ran its own engineering entrance exam score was not shared but rank was something around 45-46 now the selection is through AIEEE I opted for this college as it was near my home city gurukul university is a deemed university & its MCA program is quite good so though that newly started engineering program will also be good my brother was also studying in the same campus so we could stay together.

Campus Life is good gender ratio 1.1 debates, sports are also conducted, which is very helpful for students to improve their communication skills, face huge audience. It also helps in developing their confidence level there are many labs like Language lab, for those who having communication problem. its help students who want to imrpove their communication skill.

Management fest, Onam Celebration, Parivarthana, Inter-College fest are also held. Its so fun, Many SCMS ians participate and also students from different college like Rajagiri, XIME Cochin management Fest are good enough to help students to engage in various activities, which helps them to showcase their talents.

The course curriculum is very much oriented towards core learning of electrical engineering concepts. First year comprises of varied subjects ranging common area of learning for all engineering graduates like English and Maths and Engineering design and machine drawing along with other basic electrical subjects. Starting second year the course structure goes deep into electrical engineering concepts along with Electrical network theory and control systems.

Placement and job opportunities are very good and day by day its progressing to being best. With MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Facebook etc. core manufacturing and engineering companies like NTPC, BHEL, BPCL, Maruti, IOL and various tech giants like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc line up to take quality students from the said college.

It was all related to studies of fundamentals that i have learnt till 10th like in maths there is chapter called probablity which we generally learn in 10th and lots more is there similar to that thing but apart from this we also have some basic curriculum that is basic computer course and other stuff related to it organisational behaviour we learn how organisation behaves in different situations.

Till now non of internship is offered to 3rd year student from our college but yes they provide before 6th semester and every year some VC firms come in college and some magazine people come to give internships some economics related companies also come into ojr college to provide internship and they generally gives 5k-8k a month asking for 6 hours shift of work 5 days a week.

Exams and labs are very frequent. Every semester in the mid of it internals exams are suppose to condect and at the end of every semesters main or externals exams are suppose to condect. Instead of these regular class tests are also there. Exams shall be conducted at the end of each semesters which we called as externals exams Internal exams also conduced at the mid of the every semester. Marking is basend on 75% of externals and 25% of internals.

Good remark is that managemt had decide to made another new building and new canteen in place of old one which they haf done with in 1.5 years without diaturbing the study of students with all new furnitures and gadgets and also invite many new faculty also.

The College Internship was not that Friendly as Students were involved in finding Companies which would provide Internship. There was no Stpiend offered to the Students but the TPO was very helpful in completing the Paperwork quickly.

Faculty was very Knowledgeable and extremely Friendly. Our Head of the Department was very Friendly and used to interact with the Students very frequentlynd to understand their vibe and pick up any Improvement that was suggested.

Fees is ok 35000 per semester.no hostel so expensive in living outside. First year fees is 83000 with admission charge. Now its change due to changes in rules and regulations. When i got admission first yr was not divided into semester now its divided.

Well about placement if you are all clear then you have a good chance of getting job here. Severals companies are coming and offering good money. Some companies in 2015 are tcs-3.5lakhs about 240 students got jobmusigma-5lakh 4 were placed etc.

I got admission through kerala engineering and medical entrance examination (KEAM) and got selected in one of the alloment rounds. College or location was not a barrier to pursue my degree.I always wanted to study in kerala.

The faculty manged everything with extreme professionalism but the lack of experience always created issues. But then they tried thier level best to keep everything under control and ensured that nothing went wrong.

It not expensive the annual fees is 65 thousand per year. The hostel fees is around 40 thousand per year. So u can easily survive with total including 1 lakh per year. That is in 4 year u have to only pay 4 to 5 lakks that u can easily get covered after placement.

The Exam should be done in very frequent. The examination will be done twice in a year and each paper have a gap of 5 to six days where u can easily get time revision of your study. The labs are also done before the theory paper where u tenses free examin

BCA is course of 3 years. In which First year fundamental subjects are taught like Computer architcecture , history , C progrming. In second year other progrmaing language are taught like foxpro , Dbms and c plus plus many more and third year higher education type laguange of computer are taught.

Yes , Our govt provide the scholarship for this purpose About Rs 10000 will be refunded each year if we will apply for this .Even Sc/ St can get the full refund of Fees. which make the top reason for highr student in this course in Graduation.
