Internship for freshers generally starts from the first semester itself. A number of recruiters come to our college such as First Source, eClerx, HP, Ziffi.com, to name a few. In the first semester only, students are gone for their internship with Sweetsinbox (an online startup), EKA Consultants and Multi-fit gym and they are being offered a stipend of Rs.10,000 per month.

I gave CAT entrance exam. I had many options but I chose to go to MILE was that they offered something more than just theoretical knowledge. The activities and the projects given to students attracted me the most. Being a student-run college, We are getting the practical knowledge as well. Also, the recruiters and their packages also attracted me.

There was many events we students orginised like freshers day,traditional day,annual day, quiz compitetion, paper presentations with national level.

Placements it was low at our time because the software market was in recition at 2010-2011.

Our College is like a family where in we celebrate each and every small things including birthdays and also cultural festivals our college also organises a fest known as Purple Fever which would be held in the month of Dec this year.

The college has no full time faculties except for Finance. The visiting faculties are the best of their kind and also. Some of the faculties from Top colleges like IIM'S and many other come to teach here.

Companies are like you can name them and they are there on the campus one more thing which i saw here was the college goes with the current trend of the market like in today's world e-commerce is like boosting so college focuses a lot on it there some companies which are being build on our internship. I have not yet gone for so but soon i will be going i am in 1st sem and stipend should not matter for you until and unless you are getting no learning out of it.

Campus life is awesome you will feel like you are not free for a single all the time some or the other thing is going on in college it has its own annual festival of three days which is completely organized by students other than that Maven Speak this concept is like extremely amazing gives a lot of learning and yes it also provides a platform to interact with big dignitaries of corporate world.

In first year of engineering as usual we have the subjects like english,maths,physics,chemistry and a new subject would be introduced that is C language. In 2nd year it will cover the core subjects which are realted to the branch and the same continued in 3rd and 4th year.

The placement percentage in our college is high. In order to get to attened the interviews no backlog is allowed. Different coampanies like TCS, wipro, accenture, delloite, l&t, mu sigma and many other companies.

Alumni network is very strong with meetings happening once in every year and whatsapp groups and common online forums keep people in touch. Senior students also helps in bringing in more companies through networking.

College management is good in bringing up ideas to explore the capabilities of each and every student. They provide numerous number of platforms for every one to show their potentials.

I was an NRI. So, I didn't take any entrance tests. I joined college, through Management Quota. I chose the course as suggested by many of my cousins, and also the scope of it.

The placements, are really good. Especially if you are in branches like CS, ECE or IS. The highest salary is around 18LPA, whereas the least is 3LPA.

Almost the entire batch gets placed average package in 2008 was more than 5 LPA on an average 1.6 placement per student.

No stipend was paid vocation training had to be done but no stipend stipend was thr for some courses.

The gender ratios are about 70:30 i.e 70 male and 30 female which are poor. The workshops are good and labs are also nice one. The yearly student election adds a little bit political status which sometime gives a different environment.

A lot of reputed companies like TCS, HCL and a lot of different companies comes take replacement and they take written objective exam and take interview for placement. They selected after interview placed after 2-3 months.

The college is run by service motive. To impart higher education with integral formation which involves academic excellence, spiritual growth, social commitment and value based leadership. It is wonderful and excellence. Everything is available in the college. Cultural programmes, sports, labs, etc. are offers in this college.There are three major cultural events in every year in the college. Spoorthi-for intermediate students, Spandana- for Degree students and Bhavana- for PG Students.

Placement is too bad in majority of all department still few course like CSE/IT may promise to get one, Wipro, IBM, congizent etc used to come to trap in bulk but its not easy task to crack companies test in LPU. To sit in placement u need to pass all cycles of EEP(employment enhanced program). Which has 6-8 modules which 2-2.5 year of time span.

LPU still is transformation phase they are trying to build a stranded or level of teaching now days they are trying to catch student from IITs so hope for good but yet teachers are too bad not all but majority of them any teacher can teach u any subject irrespective his/her eligible or knowledge of that subject.

The events celebrated in our colleges are;-1. Annual fest: In this cultural and technical both events are involved. Cultural includes drama, singing dancing and many other things 2. Fresher's Party: This is the party organised by second year students for the new first year students 3. Farewell Party for fourth year student.

Our college provide lot of assistance for the placement. But most of the opportunities are in other colleges i.e. pool campus recruitment is more implemented. Job opportunities are average in RKGIT. I have also heard from my seniors that if u deserve the job then You will definitely get the job till the end of the session.

There is 50000 rs. Per annum. This is very feasible than other college because other university take 120000 per annum. So this college fee is very feasible hence this college is best for education.

In our college navy professor is comming for the job of qualified student. I also give interview but i m not selected. Generally its give 40000 per month within medicine facility also.

Our college organizes an annual fest named INTER-ACT. It is an inter collegiate fest that takes place for 2 days and a large number of technical and non-technical events are conducted and a lot of other college students also actively participate in those events. Also each department organizes their own fest once in 4 years in which students from all other branches within the college can participate in a wide range of events.

The fee structure is very expensive for COMED-K students and for a middle class person it might just burn a little hole in their pocket. The total investment for 4 years amounts approximately to 5,00,000 INR for a COMED-K student which i think is really unfair. For CET students however the fee is reasonable. Also if you get a CET seat through SNQ quota the fee is drastically lesser.

There will be so many number of events conducted in our college such as freshers and farewell party. We have also celebrated our college day function very grandly. College management will allow students to participate in them. coming to technical our branch has conducted only one technical event.

Course curriculum is very old and is not updated to the level. There will no much focus on research and practical knowledge. There will be no collaborations with any industries. All the syllabus is very old and it seems like basics which makes student weak when he comes out of the college.

Alumni's Department functions, organising Presentation from various colleges conducting NSS camps, adopted a village blood camps. Technical not much especially the staff class are left why u people want to waste time for extra things so they might have shown that much interest.

Faculty was better for few subjects and for the part of labs not much sources. Self studying is the main theme in this college with no support. No leaves, full fledgly they use to open college but what for just coz of attendance we should attend.

My college conducted only one function for every batch. That is college day. That day only we are enjoying. So we are very sad about our college management.Very very bad management compare to other colleges. So when the management changes it will improve

Our college management will collect more than anna university allocated fees. It is very expensive. So sad Anna university rules says 40000 per year. But our college management collect 90k per year.

Regarding placement we are the one who was badly affected by 2009 recision which impacts globally ,slowdown in recruitment. My college also suffered from placements. Hardly 120 people got placed in IT sector , I am from mechanical background so none of the software preferred us. Finally one bpo concern came for mechanical and electrical engineering students. So in my point of view there is hardly no placements provided for mechanical engineers in my college

TNPCEE entrance examination held on 2006 its conducted by Anna University under which one can able to get seat in either in ANNA UNIVERSITY or its affiliation colleges in tamil nadu,i got valuable score in the entrance exam conducted by TNPCEE, based upon which i was called for counselling in anna univ chennai ,where i opted for mechanical engineering seat in arunai engineering college which is one of affiliated college to ANNA UNIVERSITY CHENNAI.

We used to have great college events that everyone used to enjoy to the fullest. We had Zest for dance, music and for all cultural events. And Aamod for all sports event which not only includes our students but teams from different colleges as well.

Placements are not that great in comparison to other colleges. Tata Consultancy Services is the only company which is good level that hires in a good amount. So in this respect students need to make an extra effort form placements.
