We used to have great college events that everyone used to enjoy to the fullest. We had Zest for dance, music and for all cultural events. And Aamod for all sports event which not only includes our students but teams from different colleges as well.

Placements are not that great in comparison to other colleges. Tata Consultancy Services is the only company which is good level that hires in a good amount. So in this respect students need to make an extra effort form placements.

As the college is affiliated to university of delhi, the exams are schedule by the university, but the university evenly distribute the exams date so that it does put my stress on the students apart from that if any problems arises, the university always readily available to solve the problem. Once i remember during third year two of our exams falls on consecutive days, hence all the students of economics from different college approach the university and as a result the university postponed the exam on some later date.As far as the internal exam are concerned those are conducted in the college itself whose marks are incorporated in the final exam marks, are also very well planned to minimise the stress from the students.

The campus life is pretty cool, full green campus with a very huge playground with different courts for cricket, basketball, football etc. Also being a co-ed college both boys and girls study together in a friendly manner. The labs of the college are very well equipped and large in size, the library in also very large in size with thousands of books available which really helped me a lot during my college period as well as during masters preparation. Also several seminars, discussions were regularly conducted. College has a committee for sexual harassment with girls and had very strict rules against that, but no such case was reported during our batch.

I gave UPSEE i.e Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination. My rank was 500 in girls category and 4857 under General Category. My course was B.tech (CSE). I opted for this particular college because i heard about this college from my senior school-mates. This college provides best environment and culture. Seniors are very helpful. Anti-ragging. I sat in UPSEE counseling and select this college through counselling procedure.No interview was taken by college as my admission was through counseling and not on management quota.

Campus environment is very healthy. There is one nescafe and canteen which provides snacks and other food stuffs. Food items price kept very low for everything as it is for students. Students use to throw parties in canteen,nearby areas also. Workshops are there for mechanical and civil engineering students. 8 Computer Labs are there in this college.There is no discrimination with students related to gender, race , religion etc. All students and faculty members are loyal towards their work.

This is the important part which I liked most. IITB has given full freedom to students for conducting and participating in various cultural,sports and technical events. One of best event of IITB is Mood Indigo a big cultural fest where I had enormous opportunity to show my talents in public. It is the heart of IITB cult. Techfest is best in terms of technological advancements like robot wars,laser shows,racing events,Entrepreneur and scientific talks. Apart from these there were musical events like Surbahar,theatre fest,sports events like Inter IIT sports meet,yearly conducting General championship and PG sports and PG cult etc. These events allow students to develop lot of talents and skills.

In my opinion campus life should have freedom to enjoy student life in a meaningful way without gender biasness. IITB campus hub is the best example for that. IITB has provided me to fully enjoy my campus life without any kind of restriction or politics. Gender ratio was 5:1 for male to female. There were always some workshop related to entrepreneurship,music,technical,dance etc were conducted every week. There was never any kind of sexual biasness was seen. The best part of IITB was all the activities, workshops,cult fest were organized and successfully completed by students themselves. Academic staffs never intervened in any of these programme which is usually observed in other universities.

We have technical event PRAXIS which is held at the start of a new academic year. Praxis consist of numerous technical games ,quizzes etc. Vesit conducts two cultural events i.e. illusion and utsav. There is a sport event Sphurti which consist of both indoor and outdoor games. Apart from these, VESIT has technical societies like IEEE, CSI which conduct various events throughout the year.

The campus life of VESIT is quite nerdy and not very happening. Lot of students manage to score well in exams. The participation in extra curricular activities is not up to the mark. The gender ratio may be around 2:3. There are fresher parties are good. There is no such thing such as ragging nor there is any sort of discrimination i have experienced in college yet.

Fresher Party celebration for the new student who has taken admission in the first year, Every year annual function various activities are done like dance, sports, games, robo race, drawing, paintings, treasure hunt, lane gaming, program desining competitions etc, Workshops event for the technical knowledge of the subject various events are organised by the institution, Tech Fest5. Fairwell Parties etc.

As I took civil brach and all of us knows that civil engineering offer many govt job civil students generally not prefer private job at our time 4 5 contruction company are visited and selected some students and for other braches of engineering NRI Group offers many job opportunities.

This is the best college if you're looking to earn while you study as it is a half day college i.e., 5 hrs a day. No need of exam tensions, as there are no internal exams. The faculty are highly qualified, hence even if they take only few hours all through the year you would be learning something.

Course curriculum was as per university rules, the faculty are also good but the college is very liberal and hardly three or four classes go on a day. There will be no college exams within the academic apart from the annual university public exams.

The course is too good as it gives me access to the world of electronics and communication related all technolohical aspects. Curriculum is good as i have written this is a national level college, so it gives you a very well understanding about everything related to your subject the faculty was so good that you can ask any question from them at any time you can communicate in a very friendly manner with everyone.

Gender ratio is not too good as only 30% students are girl hostel parties take place at regular intervals various workshops organised throughout the year all girl and boys take positive part in all cultural events workshops and hostel parties no religious, sexual, political and economic status differentiability is there in our college.

During our college days recession was at peak and even during that time many comapnies including MNCs like CTS, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBS came and recruited almost all peoples who have scored more than 60%.

Overall the course and facilitis offered by the collge to the students are exemplary with professors and lecturers well versed in their area of specialization labs and workshops are also well equipped.

Regarding the college, it is the worst regarding student-friendly they charge a lot of money and they don't even think about their student life they just keep prohibitions on registering new coarse if we fail once and we have to pay a lot of money for registering

Mahindra, hp, Infosys, Flipkart, snapdeal, Accenture, ford, and others, Regarding the other companies we get a lot of them and all are not expected and we have a lot of opportunities in this college and where we can place easily by just getting to interviews.

My college internship i have given outside not much to say because they dont have any internship program. If you want to apply outside college is very helpful they will provide whatever is required.

Seniors are very helpful and provide you much information at the time of exam . So these are very to give exam at the time of test and exam and they are very helpful for extra circular activity.

Each dept holds it's own Cultural cum Technical fest this is separate from the Annual Cultural and Annual Technical fests that the college holds for dept fest, same dept students are also invited from the other colleges the college fest is only of college students recently they started an inter M S Ramaiah Colleges Cultural fest. In this all MSR groups of colleges (Engineering, Medical, Dental, Arts, Commerce, Degree, MBA etc) took part.

Semester Exams were conducted on University Schedule during my stay. Minimum One day gap was given between 2 papers (assuming that you had no backlogs). Sometimes (including weekends) 2day time was also given between papers. As for the internal assessment exams, it was conducted 3times during a semester, for which the best of 2 scores were taken and an avg was assigned.

Average. But one can open own clinic. As MD course has opened it has also increased the standard of studies and placement. As clinical practice are given by the professors for free, it increases the clinical knowledge of the students for their practice very much.

JEE, Safty and cheap treatment without any side-effect encouraged me to take this subject for my career. From my childhood we were treated usually with homeopathic medicines, which I liked most and also preferred than allopathic medicines.

Alumni association was good and it helped students interact with the alumni on various technological trends outside the campus.The alumni association conducted programs and invited alumni from over 10 years past to interact with the students helped them with the current and post academic fields.

Fee structure was feasible and it was Rs.65,000 per annum.Can be paid in two instalments. There were fee reservation for SC,ST students.The fee includes academic, lab sessions, library. The fee excludes exam fees, hostel and mess charges.

During my study me and my other friends always use to curse course as it was all out dated but while some of my friends after completion of graduation went to foreign for master and they found out that GTU course curriculum was so much planned and now about Faculty of LJIET they were great most of the faculty were experienced and some of them also from industrial back ground so they can provide very clear perspective of Industries.

As a very good news, LJIET has their own placement cell which work very hard to gathered as much as company for provide placement to student they were manage to bring IBM also in our college and many more other big companies and many of my colleagues were selected in that company with big packages.

Placements were very good as many companies were there to offer us jobs. Everyone including seniors and faculties helped us to get good jobs.I was selected for Infosys which was offering CTC of 6 Lac p a. Apart from these companies like google, Microsoft, Facebook, Schulburger, Samsung etc came to offer the jobs with high packages.

Fee structure is very feasible and affordable to many in the country as the government of India itself give so much of fund to provide cheap high class education to the students and expect technological advancement in return. One semester cost is very less as compare to many institutes which provide high class education.

At the time of my studies my ec branch have organise roborace and workshop on mobile application development using python. I was the cordinator of that workshop and approx 60 student have been participated in the work shop.

In my class there was total sixty students , 8 girls and remaining was boys. every year we celebrate annual function and technical event like rorace, robo fight, socers and line following robot eyc.

College life is good some lectures come and some not since it is a government college it is a case every where but its good to study here if u like to bunk classes there is no big issue.

Many girls are there and boys are more than girls a workshop is there for hard branches students are of diverse genders, race, religion and economic status studies here.

I did not pursue any internship opportunities as provided by the College as I was pursuing Chartered Accountancy course and was undergoing compulsory training of CA Course. The internship opportunities in company were generally very excellent and companies from a myriad of sectors like banking, BPO, Designing, KPO, Financial Consultancy, Investment Banks etc came.

Exam : Class XII Score : 92.5% (Best 4 Including English and Mathematics) I chose this college because of its very vibrant brand image. The college happens to be more than a hundred and fifty years old which only adds up to its very old and very rich heritage. Even the grass on the fields there is a half and a century old thus.

It is purely merit based and they follow whatever the allocated government fees only the students are paid. But the management based seats students are ready to give any amount because of the above goodness already i said.

All facilities in College of Engineering - Guindy is excellent whether it is technically or other non techinically. I like to say proudly my college infrastructure is best on and having an extraordinary Labs.
